17/08/2025: The service and food were very good and reasonably priced, and the selection was also very good. Unfortunately, the ambiance doesn't live up to the atmosphere; it has more of a fast-food feel.
11/08/2025: Excellent restaurant with reasonable prices. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the fish soup because it was sold out. The shrimp cocktail and crab salad were good, as was the Thai chicken. The only downside: it was very noisy because the place was packed.

11/08/2025: An incredible moment of authenticity. A tiny pub, with only locals, and a super friendly owner. Strike up a conversation, and you'll immediately feel at ease! A true moment of sharing!

25/08/2025: We and our dog were warmly welcomed, and the food was delicious. We've been here several times, as dogs aren't allowed in the area. We were delighted with the lovely cake buffet and the food.
10/08/2025: Really enjoyed the food here, large portions, good prices, very friendly.
Dog friendly also. We would definitely call again.

28/08/2025: Went in to enquire if they have anything that is gluten and dairy free as my partner has intolerances to both. The server was incredibly rude as she handed me a menu and said “there you go now you can make up your own mind” and then turned to her colleague at the bar and muttered something under her breath. The menu didn’t have allergens listed, except for just saying GF on one or two dishes. Her attitude was so unwelcoming I just walked back out the door. It was disheartening as most other restaurants around were closed and myself, my partner and young baby had been walking around Castletownbere for an hour trying to find somewhere for dinner. The place was half empty so no excuse to not even check with the kitchen re allergens, it also doesn’t take much to be kind, or at least to not be so rude
23/08/2025: They didn't let us eat when others did put food down. I don't recommend it.

La jefa sentó a dos nuevos clientes en dos mesas, ante mí.
No hay cura médica para la codicia de esta mujer.
Absolutamente terrible servicio al cliente.
27/09/2024: Ni siquiera entramos en la puerta, nos despidieron de inmediato con un miembro del personal que estaba tomando un pedido de un cliente con "No tengo nada" al menos dejamos que cerráramos la puerta incluso el otro cliente se sorprendió por su comentario despectivo, esta mujer necesita algunas lecciones de atención al cliente o entrenamiento, huelga decir que no volveremos y aconsejaría a la gente que se mantenga alejada con ese tipo de actitud francamente descuidada y grosera

09/06/2024: 5 stars, very friendly service, amazing crepes, great price and location. Way better than what me and my friends are used to in Dublin. And a fantastic variety of choices. Definitely come again.
