The best restaurants in Mallow

08/06/2026: Really great food served here. Service is excellent and staff are pleasant and friendly.

12/05/2026: Not used to give 1 star but this is intentionally misleading. "Traditional" fish and chips is just a slab of frozen and processed fish, full of oil, and undercooked.

10/08/2026: Ordered green curry, and honestly worst I have ever tasted. Had no taste of anything, will never order again there

11/07/2026: I have eaten here both takeaway and dine in. Normally I get the Singaporean noodles. The takeaway portions are very small, I’ve eating in Asian restaurants with bigger kids portions. But the second time I decided to eat in to see if it makes a difference and it does portion was nearly double the size. As a restaurant owner myself, I’d recommend using scales to portion consistently. For 19euro you expect it to be the same whether you eat in or takeaway. I hope you take my constructive criticism and improve the business as the food was great.

12/07/2026: Like everything in Ireland it's not the cheapest but it's great to chill and anything you get is nice. With all that the staff are just so sound. It's my chill zone

12/04/2026: It has been over a year now since we went here. I've been to most of Asia and the food here isn't very authentic. The quality of the meat wasn't good either in the dishes we both had. I left a lot of my meal. I can't see us going back unless quality of food here improves massively.

15/03/2026: I loved the food, it's very good. I ordered both the Asian food and the pizza menu 🦋. The waitress was super friendly, excellent atmosphere, I highly recommend it.

17/07/2026: Extremely disappointed we were working in town had two pints in two different pubs walked in there for one more pint before home and they refused myself and my friend, and I would say purely on the basis of looks. had money to spend in a dying town by the looks of it and no wonder why. Fuming about how we were treated. (And we weren't in work clothes!)

21/07/2026: Absolutely fantastic food. Proper New Yorker packed with beef and pastrami. Takeaway for €5.95 is best value one could ask for (and the great taste as a bonus!)

12/08/2026: The food really isn't the problem here in my experience. The young lad on the drive through needs to start speaking up. When asking him the options for desert menu you can barely hear what he's saying, it's always one big muddled, muffly sentence. This is on the third occasion we've noticed this.

08/07/2026: Was in Mallow here visiting family a few months ago and went to McDonalds to get myself and my niece a treat, when some young chubby blonde girl with a nose piercing gave the worst customer service experience I had ever experienced in all my 40 years of life. My order was wrong, She was being snide and cheeky and to be honest I was so horrified I just left and said nothing. Absolutely do not interact with her if you come into contact with her. It’s a wonder if her parents ever put manners on the girl!! I was absolutely outraged 🤬🤬🤬 disgusting establishment was entirely filthy around too 🤢

14/08/2026: Took 1hr 30 mins for food to come. Had to ask everytime needed water, forks etc. food was nice but not worth the wait. Unless you’ve the patience of a saint, don’t bother.

13/08/2026: The worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant... Beer was warm, returned it and they said I still have to pay... Sorted that out, then food came. Hair in the rice. I was out the door after that. Shocking standards guys. I waited 45 mins for the food in an empty restaurant. AVOID
