The best restaurants in Dublin

18/06/2025: Fantastic experience - we booked a family for a christening 20 people and Khan looked after us, we needed for nothing and the food was superb. 10/10

11/06/2025: I took my father here this evening - to the Terrace - and had a great time. We had tried to book a window seat, but upon arrival there were none available. The wonderful front of house said he would do everything to help us. I had told him it was an early father's day dinner for my dad. We were seated in a non window seat initially, but within 15 minutes, due to a no show, he moved us to a 4-top, but made it for just the two of us. My dad had the Dublin Bay Prawn Scampi, and loved every second of it (his appetite can be off, so it was brilliant to see!). I ordered the burger (without pickles), but it arrived with pickles which put me off a little. I removed them from the plate and one of the hostesses asked if everything was OK (truly I didn't really enjoy the burger..too much sauce and the pickle residue was still lingering on the burger) and I just told her it's lovely but I asked for no pickles (I didn't want to ask for a fresh order bc it seemed ridiculous!). She came back later in the meal to say the desserts were going to be on the house - I tried to protest and say it's not a problem, but when the bill came, they weren't there. As a result I left a very generous tip for the servers. The desserts were delicious. Dad had the sticky toffee pudding and I had the meringue roulade (very sweet, but I had room after not finishing my burger). All in all the service was hit and miss (we were neglected a bit at the beginning in favour of the bigger, more demanding tables, and I had asked for a sauce top up which came after we had finished - but I understand they were under pressure), but the managers really stepped up and made it a special night. My dad, most importantly, has been waxing lyrical about it since. They also had a good selection of non-alcoholic wines for him, which was really refreshing. I would definitely go back again - and order the scampi!! Top top marks to the fronts of house...you made it a lovely evening.

27/07/2024: One of the last Pizza Huts around. We’re lucky to have it in our community. It makes me very nostalgic, and the food is very nice.

12/12/2025: Had dinner with my whole family . Food was top notch and spicy. Will definitely come again.

06/05/2025: Lovely spot, really nice staff and a lovely atmosphere, a bit pricey for one drink though and the matcha wasn’t the best quality (the shade of green in the photo says it all😭)

29/06/2025: La tienda es un pequeño agujero en el restaurante de la pared en el área de bares de Dublín. La pastelería es muy caliente, y de buena calidad. Solo ten cuidado cuando las consumas o las mantengas extendidas.

03/06/2025: Gran servicio y una gran selección de pasteles de Cornualles. En mi opinión, lo mejor que he tenido en las últimas seis décadas. Recordaba a los pasteles caseros hechos con amor.

04/08/2025: Sin duda una bienvenida decepcionante. La anfitriona actuó mal un rigmarole de pedir nuestra confirmación de la reserva mientras que evalúa claramente nuestro atuendo y comportamiento. Para ser honesto, IT era obvio y embarazoso - pobre primera impresión. Luego pasamos por algo similar arriba antes de sentarnos en una mesa situada en un pasillo entre el bar y el exterior. Después de hacer nuestro pedido, pregunté si IT era posible mover mesas antes de que llegara nuestra comida ya que otra había quedado disponible. Afortunadamente, esta solicitud fue atendida, lo que fue genuinamente apreciado. Pedimos cinco platos, 2 cócteles y una copa de vino que estaban bien, pero no fantástico. En general, el bar de la azotea está sobrevalorado, y la hospitalidad es sin disculpas clientelar.

07/07/2025: Compré un cupón de 100 euros en este restaurante para dárselo por Navidad a un amigo mayor que no suele salir mucho. Este amigo me dijo que lo había destruido sin querer y me preguntaba si podía conseguirle uno nuevo. Llamé al Empoli y les expliqué la situación, pero no hubo suerte. Fui al restaurante y les enseñé la transacción bancaria, como me pidieron, pero no hubo suerte. Les envié un correo electrónico para explicarles, pero no hubo suerte. El gerente no me devolvió la llamada, como me habían prometido. Nada. Nunca llegué a hablar con el gerente. Entiendo que no tienen obligación de reemplazar el cupón, pero puedo demostrar que lo compré y deben saber que nunca se usó. Seguramente no pueden creer que me esté metiendo en esto para estafarles 100 euros, pero parece ser el caso. Mala manera de tratar a los clientes en una zona donde la reputación cuenta.

11/03/2025: Honestamente, esta es mi primera crítica para un restaurante, nunca. Y este lugar es 10 / 10 , si lo que buscas es comida italiana real, auténtica y llena de sabor esto es todo. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y volveremos aquí de nuevo. Gracias por la mejor comida italiana que hemos tenido.

08/08/2024: Éramos habituales aquí hace unos 8 años y era uno de nuestros lugares favoritos para comer en Dundrum. A menudo desayunamos aquí. Avancemos hacia 2024 y en qué GRAN DECEPCIÓN se ha convertido este lugar. Tenga la seguridad de que su decepción también será servida a gran costo para su cartera. Tenía el pollo, que a un costo de casi 30 euros era un robo absoluto. Pan coció filete de pollo rebozado con algunas papas y recogió verduras. Sabor bien, pero probablemente vale la mitad del precio pagado. El resto de la comida era promedio también con menú para niños particularmente pobre. Al pagar la factura me di cuenta en la caja de que la máquina de labranza y el precio que me pedían pagar era de unos 10 euros más que el recibo facturado. Al preguntar me dijeron que esto era un cargo de mesa por tener siete personas sentadas y que podían "escribirlo" en mi recibo si era necesario. ¡Nunca antes había cruzado esta alondra! Desafortunadamente para un lugar que amamos tanto, no volveremos. Otra señal de que la industria alimentaria irlandesa se derrumba a medida que los propietarios priorizan sus beneficios antes que la calidad.

28/08/2024: This is great to have in the area and service is great but it’s really disappointing that they’ve dropped most of the savoury options and the focus is now on overly sweet breakfast/brunch options and cakes.

27/08/2024: Lovely people, perfect coffee and exceptional food. The overnight oats is a favourite, love the way the toppings change with the seasons.
