The best restaurants in Dublin

15/07/2026: Got a frappe full of inedible blended hard colourless bits, I can only assume it was plastic.

10/06/2026: Adjusting review as got the most dry husk of a pastry. From the day before? Fine food, good deals with coffee for breakfast/lunch. Coffee on its own is similar in price to other places and variable in quality. I'd prefer to go to tang or creed if just getting a coffee.

03/02/2026: As a coeliac, I thought I was pretty safe with this place. I decided to double check, just in case. I was told that their chicken isn't gluten free by a staff member in Ballsbridge (Avoca). I was a bit confused as there didn't seem to be anything added to the chicken in the process but took her word for it as she is staff. When I questioned further as to the source of gluten in the chicken, she shrugged her shoulders and effectively shooed me away from the counter. She was pretty rude about it. My girlfriend insisted a little bit but was ignored by her. It appears there is a lack of education in their staff regarding food allergies. This is very disappointing naturally as it's 2020 Ballsbridge we're talking about here. Anyway, not the end of the world but i can guarantee this place won't be recommended anytime soon to friends, colleagues or any other Ballsbridge locals or visitors. I gave it 1/5 stars only because you can't give 0.

30/01/2026: Found lots of cartilage in my sandwich and the bread was very tough😥😥for 13 euros I was expecting a bit more. It was tasty but could’ve been better

25/08/2024: I nearly didn’t order because of the 2.6 star review. When I went through the reviews they mostly referred to people who had delivery problems. Our collected food was perfect!

01/06/2025: I can’t recommend Marija’s desserts enough! Marija created beautiful desserts for a very special occasion. They were so delicious, beautiful and plant based! Her work is truly a masterpiece. The communication was excellent and professional! Will definitely be ordering them again and exploring more flavours! 🩷

14/05/2025: Couldn’t speak any more highly about Marija. Her creations are absolutely stunning and delicious. I ordered a few eclairs and a couple of entremets for my partner’s birthday. She waited till the last minute to decorate them so they were fresh, and also made sure to include a message somewhere on the desserts (not as easy as on a cake) - the attention to detail is incredible. To top it off, she’s such a kind and lovely person. Delighted to have ordered from Marija.

04/10/2025: A very small cafe inside a local spar shop. Only a few very small tables. Free parking outside. Nice patient staff. They re-did my coffee to make it extra-hot without any sign of displeasure. No toilets here though.

05/01/2025: Super desayuno, decoración acogedora, personal amable y atento. Muy recomendable. A los niños les encantaron las tortitas, fritura de calidad, gran café.
