The best restaurants in Swords

19/04/2026: Their homemade/natural image does lose some credibility when the first step in the assembly line is stripping a plastic wrapper from a processed tortilla and putting it in a microwave.. falafel & houmous were great though and this spot could be excellent

15/04/2026: The Cheeky Pea provided an outstanding buffet lunch for 120 people at our big family event last weekend and the food was absolutely outstanding- pittas, dips, salads and chips- everyone loved it. They provided fantastic service in the lead up, checking in with us to ensure we knew they had everything ready for the big day. What a fantastic café run by a delightful couple!

20/12/2025: Visited for breakfast on the 16th. We ordered chicken benny, Turkish eggs, cheesecake, and 2 lattes. Later, I noticed the receipt charged €5 extra for 3 Blue Pea Lemonades, which we didn’t order. Also, our lattes were initially swapped with matcha, though the staff fixed it quickly. The café was very busy, so extra staff during peak hours might help. Overall, food was tasty; slightly larger portions or extra slice of bread would match the price better. But I hope this kind of mistake doesn’t happen to other customers.

14/12/2025: We visited Green Straw for breakfast in Dublin and tried the holiday specials menu, including the Bang Bang Chicken, Christmas sandwich, and caramel pancakes, everything was delicious. The flavors were amazing, the vibe was cozy, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The chef even visited our table to check if everything was fine and explained the dishes, which made the experience feel extra special. One of the best breakfast spots we’ve been to, highly recommended and a must-visit whenever I’m in Ireland.

20/07/2026: It was an absolute amazing experience... Mia our waitress, speaking in German to us was so thoughtful and helpful... We had the Fish and Chips + Steak... very yummy and can recommand both. I certainly be back and will ask for Mia again. Thank you Btw, Music and Ambiente is stunning... Just the loo could need an upgrade...

05/07/2026: Best pizza ever. Just spent 2 weeks in Italy did not have any pizza to match the pizza from this place 😋

12/06/2026: First it was long wait… got there at the time of collection and was then had to wait another 25 mins. Secondly they got my order wrong… ordered a pepperoni pizza but received a margarita. Very very disappointing. Was the first time and can’t say I will be in a rush back

17/07/2026: Great beer & food and the tv's all sport covered. Love this place. Staff are so helpfull. 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ again

14/07/2026: Went for dinner pre- match time today. Got nice seats outside. Great service. Food good but Steak a bit dry. Very busy.

19/04/2026: Had a lovely evening for my parents 60th anniversary. Lovely food lovely atmosphere only 1 girl serving everyone in restaurant but was excellent. Highly recommend.

29/06/2026: I have only eaten here once and enjoyed the food experience very much. My mains was for better than my starter. We were 3 in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will be back.. .

12/07/2026: Stopped in for a light lunch and tried two salads — the halloumi & hummus and the chicken salad — along with a lemonade, iced tea, and a dessert to finish. The presentation was genuinely lovely and the location itself is bright, comfortable, and welcoming. Quality-wise, though, the food didn’t fully live up to the visuals. Both salads were fine but lacked the flavour punch you’d expect at this price point, and the dessert felt more average than memorable. Still, the service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed, and overall it was a pleasant visit. A solid spot for a casual meal, but with room to improve on taste to match the great presentation.

08/05/2026: The food and service were brilliant, we were really impressed with the quality of both. The atmosphere is a little bit like a nice modern diner, and the seating is just a bit closer together than what is comfortable, especially in the section for tables of 2. It's not bad at all, it just doesn't match up with the food and the table service. I don't remember our waiter's name sadly, but he was excellent and his recommendations were perfect for us. The chicken wings for starter were delicious. Pizza for main was amazing, and the tagliatelle bolognese was beautiful. Jacket potato fries are worth a go as a side, extremely good chips 🤌🏻. I've read some reviews about the pizza being soggy, wet or saturated etc. If you want dry, identical slices that stay completely rigid as you eat them, go to Dominos or Four Star/Apache...this is authentic pizza that uses real ingredients. Yes it is more moist than a franchise pizza, but it is fresh, many times more tasty and doesn't wake you at 3am feeling like someone has rubbed sand in your eyes. The food is fresh, vibrant and authentic. And that puts Pomodorino at the top of the list in Swords.

30/06/2026: Had dinner here this evening we both had Lasagna and Chips, food was wonderful, service was excellent. I had the Guinness great pint, will defo be back
