The best restaurants in Galway

09/10/2025: Nice place for being with the friends, but the food quality is not so good related with the price.

04/10/2024: Este solía ser el mejor Papa Rico en Galway, pero ha ido extremadamente cuesta abajo. No gastes tu dinero aquí. Cambiaron sus chips. Las nuevas fichas son del tipo barato y grasiento. El pollo al curry de la abuela es asqueroso. No es comestible en mi opinión. Realmente mal cocinado con una extraña capa gooey en algunas piezas. La salsa de curry era tan acuosa. No tenía ningún sabor. En general muy mala comida.

15/08/2023: Knowing my friends visiting Galway, and knowing the town has a distinct Spanish influence, I just knew they had to have at least one outstanding Spanish tapas food truck delivered without fail! The food is amazingly delicious and the know Javi’s is so gracious and warm. They hit top marks across the board, 10/10 as the decor is equally as sharp as the food and service. Definitely visit if you're in the mood for a culinary treat along in Galway . Tapas & Go.

03/06/2026: It pains me a bit to leave the review because the service staff were great. But my food was woeful. That's why I'm giving one star. It should be acknowledged that the staff provided a discount which was appreciated, and it's definitely not their fault. We arrived at 5:30pm as we have young kids. I ordered the lamb shank. I have eaten and cooked many a lamb shank. They cannot be messed up. The flavour on these were good. But several vegetables were undercooked. That would be acceptable if the shank was fall off the bone. But...no. I could barely cut through the meat and I could see gelatinous lines on almost every bite. Fall off the bone? Ha! I could stand my fork up in it, and in fact I pixked the whole shank up to show the staff. Again the wait staff were great but after seeing the rooms in the hotel and the quality of this food I'm questioning whether this hotel is worthwhile and feel like I've lost money.

11/04/2026: Good experience and nice coffee

11/11/2024: Bad coffee, expensive, but convenient. Some staff are terrible, some are nice. If you have the time go elsewhere.
