The best restaurants in Galway

28/10/2023: First of all: I don't want to offend the previous reviewers, but anyone who has experienced great cuisine here simply has no idea about good food. The starters were okay, neither in terms of craftsmanship nor in terms of taste, any more than the Premium Economy at Lufthansa. (An experience I try to avoid.) My main course: meat medium, ordered, completely tough and cooked through, I complained about the whole thing. Information from the kitchen: this is already prepared in a tough way, you can't give it to me again delicately. (!) I was at least able to order something new from the menu and a drink on the house. In terms of service in general: a young woman who tried very hard, but had no idea about the wine on the menu and no idea how to serve wine either. Tried hard, but technically far below the standard that the hotel tries to present to the outside world. Every detail is careless and uninspired, starting with the bread basket and continuing with the chicken as another main course: dry, potato gratin tasteless. As I said, anyone who voluntarily comes here to eat a second time has no idea what good food is. Sorry.

14/11/2023: I was on a lunch here with my company, waited 1 hour to get food when it wasn't busy, our food was cold, burger almost frozen, cesar sala was a meal but it was tiny tiny, really bad food

09/10/2023: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rock Coffee and Sambo, and I must say it's the best coffee spot in town! The coffee is simply outstanding. What sets this place apart, though, is the service provided by Peter, the barista. He's not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about coffee. If you're a coffee enthusiast, Rock Coffee and Sambo is a must-visit.
