21/06/2026: Nice food. Summer pudding for dessertβ rare in England. Pleasant, very quiet (on a Sunday), staff helpful and jolly if not of the fastest! If it's a hotel, I saw no evidence of that.
01/06/2026: Always a pleasure to stay here! Rooms are a tad dated but homely, cosy, and comfortable. The food is the standout here, from breakfast, to bar, to restaurant. Everything is thoughtfully considered and assembled, fish being the winner in the bar and restaurant!

13/08/2026: Super cafe with a French style we sat out and enjoyed the atmosphere of a lovely town. The building itself is around 1600 ad or so . Great coffee served with a smile.

29/08/2026: Very noisy and staff weren't very friendly .. not many seats to dine in and people standing g everywhere waiting for food. The ketchup station wasn't very clean either.. our first night didn't go to good after hoping for a superman's..
