01/02/2025: Everything is good except the taste of the dishes. The lamb had too strong a smell which spoiled the taste.
01/02/2025: First time this year and excellent as always. If you want a foodie experience you won’t go wrong.
If this restaurant was in Dublin I don’t doubt it would have a Michelin star. Great night as always

31/12/2024: This is a nice comfortable place to eat. The food was well prepared and well presented. The portions are quite big which is value for money. Only thing I will mention is that the food can be quite oily so be prepared if your into your health and fitness. Place is top notch for hangover dining as it has plenty on the menu alongside milkshakes, ice cream and a pub next door to drift back into. Good location close to shop and pharmacy with plenty of parking around it.

31/12/2024: Family dinner 10 adults 5 children on 27th dec. the room was very cold and many items were not on the menu as hotel had been closed for 2 days. I am a pensioner and asked for half portion of curry, i could not eat full portion, but was told that the chef does not permit half portions. So i just took soup but, my mistake i did not ask the type of soup …. it was tomato soup which i could not eat! The other 9 adults were very happy with their food choice. I think that older people should be permitted to order smaller portions, rather than full portion and throwing out a lot of it, we should be encouraged to reduce food waste.
14/11/2024: The environment is truly charming, with a wall full of books that adds a unique touch to the atmosphere. The food is satisfactory, neither exceptional nor disappointing, overall providing an acceptable dining experience.
