The best restaurantsof irish in Ballina

15/03/2026: Myself and my husband had been waiting ages to try this hotel and spa and to be honest, it's not really worth the hype. The spa was amazing, I'd come back to the spa, we got couples treatments and it was absolutely worth the money, we thoroughly enjoyed the spa. I feel like the rest of the hotel relies on the spa and the river views. The room was 320 euro on a Friday, it was a "deluxe" room.. it was pretty basic and you could hear snoring and coughing from neighbouring rooms. The food was good but again, overpriced for what it was and the side of veg and bread was extra. Staff were lovely and accommodating.

02/03/2026: I popped in for breakfast. Definitely the best breakfast in Ballina. Fantastic views of the River Moy and friendly staff.

25/02/2026: Website menu and prices outdated, waitress bored and incompetent, food on menu didnt match food received, complaint not acknowledged and no solution given. No manager for the whole night to speak to. Wouldn't visit again.

08/04/2026: Old tired bathroom with grout missing from tiles in major need of a refurbishment. Never a 4 star hotel. Bedroom also old fashioned. Whole place needs modernisation. Update, the hotel apologised and said I should not have been in room 212 as it should have been closed for renovations. The hotel kindly offered a full refund. I will update score after I stay in another room. Update Room 209, bathroom brand new

02/03/2026: Great staff. Had gorgeous room with bath under a skylight. Perfect place to stay when attending any event at the Arts Centre just down the street.
