The best restaurantsof irish in Sligo

03/02/2025: Chicken Wings starter to share which were OK however didn’t seem cooked to order with some sauce burned under the wings in the dish. Then left 40 minutes for main course. One table who sat before us had their starters cleared after us and their mains finished well before ours arrived. We did ask a member of what seemed management (in blue shirt) to check on our food. This member of staff never returned to our table but rather had a waitress let us know that our food was on the way..we waited a further 10 minutes. Two other tables sat after our starter was cleared and had their meal finished before ours arrived. Chicken & Bacon Vol a Vonts weren’t hot and the Burger was dry and crumbly with no sauce on the burger. Both were served with chips which needed the oil changed. A Bank Holiday isn’t a good enough excuse for this service and poor food.

07/01/2025: Years Tavern has been a favourite place to stop for food when we are in the area. On entry it's extremely inviting, has a very warm ambience that makes you feel very comfortable and cosy.Staff are friendly and efficient. Clean and tidy.

07/03/2025: The Food is Pretty good most of the time but the prices are obsurd.... I was completly appaled when my nimble neck musles faced the asian lady at the check who proclaimed that the price of me and my aqantinces food ( Spice Bags ) have been raised from the Usual 7 euro ( Which is still quit expensive ) To a Dumbfounding Obseen Rediculous and Obsurd Pruce of a Dumbfoning tener.... This was not told to us as regulars of part - Taking In attwnding the establishment known as " You And Me Fusion Chinese Place " The Older asian man who I think owns the Place is very nice and kind and treats people like fam BTW .... And when he works the food do be being better though Hes my , my Honey G .... They said that the prices raised bescause we sat in even though they dint do that before .... Also one the the waitressess where very rude too us and hurt our fellings Conclision is that the man is nice and the food is most the time good but the prices are crazy ...............................

07/02/2025: A fantastic no frills Asian food restaurant. It's probably up there with Wong Kei (Wonkies) in Soho. I'd definitely recommend.
