The best restaurantsof irish in Ballina

06/05/2026: Had a delicious seafood chowder, service was fast, nice atmosphere. Will be back.

01/05/2026: Lovely pub with great food. Vegan options here for starters and the mains. I had the vegetable curry and it was delicious

29/04/2026: waited a good 10 minutes to be seated , it was busy but not over busy , staff walked past ourselves and another couple and dissappeared into the bar . when we were seated and given a menu the choices offered were not to our taste or palatte , a lot of the dishes were served in spicey piri piri or other ' asian theamed' sauces ,all very nice if you are in india or sri lanka but this is IRELAND and there was a lack of TRADITIONAL IRISH FOOD on offer ! a lot of the offerings here are exactly the same or very very similar to a lot of OTHER establishments in ireland these days which in my experiance points toward dishes being ' bought in pre prepared' rather than made on the premisis . in the end after veiwing the menu and waiting to be served we decided to go elsewhere and left .
