08/10/2024: We stopped in for a pint ( or two) before dinner and loved the pub atmosphere and the friendly service. The guest house we were staying in had recommended this pub and were spot on.

17/12/2024: Terrific food and atmosphere. Extremely comfortable seating. Was well looked after by staff. Enjoyed it so much that my friend and I went back a second night.
On a previous solo visit I was seated near the fire, which was utterly delightful. I plan on visiting as often as I can.
16/12/2024: Four of us had Sunday lunch recently,We had a lovely meal,the restaurant was very busy,we had pre-booked.It seems that the restaurant was very popular with the locals.

22/08/2024: Good location but I don't think this place serves food anymore. Sadly just a tired looking pub. A shadow of it's former self.
