09/01/2025: Heard good things about the local so thought I would give it a go .
Really nice atmosphere as I stepped in from the freezing temperatures and the pub was busy for an early Thursday evening .
Ordered a Heineken, ordered the Mexican burger with a wine .
Burger was great as were the home cooked chips and drinks were good .
Certain places I visit I don’t feel relaxed or welcomed when working away but what a breath of fresh air here.
Thank you team for a lovely experience and I will probably come back tomorrow as it was that nice
02/01/2025: Stopped off in Dungarvan on our way from cork to Wexford. Went to the local for lunch. It was very busy which speaks for itself. Service was exceptionally good even though it was packed. The food was gorgeous . The pub itself is devine and we would love to have stayed all evening. Will be back

07/01/2025: Our favourite cafe in Dungarvan. They have unique food that you won't find in other cafes in Dungarvan. They have vegetarian options as well. I have eaten there many times and everything I've tried has been great.
Only negatives I have noticed: water glasses sometimes look a bit dirty, milk is left in pitchers on the table rather than brought fresh with your tea/coffee (could have been put out recently but there's no way for a customer to know that)

19/11/2024: Fabulous 2 days - lovely comfortable lodging- superb fresh breakfast. The dinner was wonderful and delicious- very fresh ingredients all round and lovely presentation, highly recommend the oysters, wild game terrine and the mixed seafood grill. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and full of wonderful art to enjoy. Thank you Tannery- we will be back!

06/10/2024: A local recommend this pub to us as we were travelling and just passing through the town.
It was the best food we ate out in the 2 weeks we were travelling in south Ireland.
Food was exceptional. Fresh, fast and hot. We had Vol au Vents and wraps. Onion rings were delicious too
16/09/2024: Popped in the anchor and found it to be quite busy, not packed so had a calm atmosphere.
The two members of staff who were working there were friendly and polite and a credit to the owners, nothing was too much trouble.
Ordered falafel wrap and the Irish burger which were outstanding.
Compliments to the chef.
