15/08/2025: I have been coming back for the cheese tart, but I know most of my friends also love the cheese cake! Just superb!

09/05/2026: Me and my partner come here most weekends, the food is a 10/10 every time. Our favorite things to get are the bento boxes for lunch on the weekends, and the sushi has no competition (get the rainbow roll). Staff are very friendly and super attentive so it's always nice coming in to a friendly face!

13/05/2026: We had an absolutely brilliant experience at Tippenyaki in Rathmines for my son’s Communion. The food and service were excellent from start to finish, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special family celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make a big deal of my son on the day, which meant so much to us. They even allowed him to stand behind the counter and join in on the live cooking show with all of the children and adults watching — he absolutely loved it and it made the day unforgettable. A huge thank you to all the team for making the occasion so special. We will definitely be back!

10/05/2026: Nice service and good food, and we appreciated that the staff tried to handle a very loud group during the evening. Unfortunately, the noise level throughout the restaurant was overwhelming. We could barely hear each other and had to shout just to have a conversation. Our ears were aching by the end of the meal. Sadly, our children — including one who is particularly sensitive to noise found the experience very distressing. It really spoiled what could otherwise have been a lovely evening. Such a pity, because the food and service were genuinely good.

06/05/2026: We came here in our trio and Fabian was our server. He did an excellent job and the food was amazing. The restaurant is also a very cool spot. Would highly recommend

Everything from the delicious food, peaceful and wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. The friendly staff contribute heavily to the amazing atmosphere and service coupled with the extremely high quality of a traditional Japanese cuisine. Food has never been a disappointment. Extremely fresh and high quality sushi + variety. Ramen options are various and all delicious. If you fancy stir fries or meals they do not disappoint. Words dont do this establishment justice of you fancy fine dining and high quality Japanese cuisine this is the place without a doubt.

16/04/2026: This has to be some of the nicest food I've ever had. Quality was amazing and the pricing is so fair. We went twice, once 30 mins before closing and once 15 minutes after they opened. The quality was just as good both times. Will be coming back as much as possible. The miso soup was amazing, the sushi was some of the nicest we have had and the prawn tonkatsu was amazinggggg. Defo recommend
