Zakura
Dublin
23/11/2025: Such a pleasant surprise! Food is delicious, warm and efficient service, cozy atmosphere. Would definitely return.
17/11/2025: Zakura on Baggot Street is a genuinely welcoming spot that stands out for both its atmosphere and its food. The staff greet you with a warm energy every time, creating a relaxed feeling that makes the whole experience even better. They check in just enough, stay attentive without hovering, and clearly take pride in making guests feel comfortable.
The food is the star. The nigiri tastes fresh, clean, and carefully prepared, with each piece showing good balance between texture and flavor. Their katsu curry is rich, comforting, and full of character, with a crisp coating that holds up beautifully against the smooth curry sauce. It is the kind of dish that makes you want to return sooner than planned.
One of the most impressive things is how well they accommodate people with celiac needs. The team handles requests with confidence and care, and they offer safe options that still feel thoughtful and delicious, something that can be surprisingly hard to find.
Overall, Zakura combines great food with genuine hospitality, turning a simple meal into a memorable outing.

24/11/2025: Our experience was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place, especially for the live cooking show, which was very funny. The sirloin and the duck were both of the highest quality.

Yamamori
Dublin
09/12/2025: Delicious Japanese cuisine. Very tasty food, perfect portions and great drinks.
Plus, it's a very nice place with an Asian vibe.
09/12/2025: The restaurant itself is genuinely beautiful — the décor and atmosphere are lovely and definitely give a great first impression. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the setting.
The biggest issue for us was the price versus the quality. The food was very expensive, and honestly, the quality just didn’t feel worth the amount we paid. There were five of us, and we were also charged around €16 as a service charge, which felt quite excessive considering the overall experience.
On top of that, we felt a bit rushed. Even though there were plenty of tables available, the waiters kept checking in repeatedly in a way that made it seem like they wanted us to finish up and leave. It took away from what should have been a relaxed meal.
Overall, the place is beautiful, but the food, pricing, and service didn’t justify the cost for us. Not sure we’d return.

Zakura
Dublin
13/11/2025: The food was very good, but unfortunately the service let the experience down.
I visited last Saturday for lunch with four friends. When we received the bill, a service charge was included, which I don’t usually mind paying when the service matches the standard. I kindly asked for it to be removed, as we intended to leave a cash tip instead. However, when we left a smaller amount, the waitress commented that it wasn’t enough, which made us feel uncomfortable.
When I asked why the service charge was mandatory, she explained it was because there were five of us at the table. We didn’t want to cause a scene, so we paid, but I believe service charges should always remain optional.
It’s a shame, because the food was great, but the service experience would make me think twice about returning.
11/11/2025: My little son Kai 💙 Loves this restaurant. He is a little sushi monster. Kai said: “I love the food, it has amazing service, the waitresses are very kind and I get a lollipop, which makes it a 5 star service” ⭐️

Miyazaki
Cork
29/11/2025: The food was great, i just wish there were more places to sit. Their partnership with the pub next door is great though.
28/11/2025: The restaurant looks clean and small, with an open-kitchen concept that gives a cozy atmosphere. They offer drinks like tea, kombucha, and similar beverages. I ordered kombucha, but I was expecting it to be organic unfortunately, it came in a can, which was disappointing.
One of the biggest issues is that there is no toilet available, which is a major inconvenience. The woman taking orders at the counter entered the kitchen area, leaned over a table not meant for customers, and started chatting loudly with the kitchen staff. One of the employees even stopped working to join the conversation. This felt unprofessional — someone not working in the kitchen should not be inside talking like that, and it negatively affects the restaurant’s image.
Free tap water is provided, which was a nice touch. The food itself was good, but it took a very long time to arrive. We ordered three dishes, and after finishing two, the third one still had not been served even though we had already waited a long time. Meanwhile, the receptionist’s friend arrived and had a 5 minute loud conversation in the small dining area, which made the environment uncomfortable.
Overall, it was a disappointment. If you plan to visit Miyazaki Japanese Restaurant, keep these points in mind and adjust your expectations.

Musashi
Dublin
08/12/2025: Nice place, however food is very spicy. I ordered a ramen, which on the menu looked like not a spicy dish at all, and no one check if i can tolerate spicy food, however when it came, I was shocked how spicy it was, I could barely eat it! Unfortunately it could not enjoy it.
21/11/2025: One the nicest restaurants in dublin you definitely must give it a try the food is absolutely delicious and amazing atmosphere lovely drinks and desserts really good place to have a dinner or lunch at

Ramen Kitchen
Dublin
07/12/2025: Amazing ramen here and the staff are very lovely.
I would absolutely recommend the ebi tempura prawn and avocado sushi, omgggg it is genuinely some of the best sushi I've ever had, the texture is amazing, the tempura is perfectly crunchy and the prawn is delicious. Top tier stuff!
I've had the pork ramen and beef ramen and both were quite tasty too, very earthy and wholesome. The meal is quite large and would set you on your way for a while :)
30/11/2025: Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
We went during the "Monday - Friday, 12pm - 3pm" all ramen is €13.50 (or there abouts) deal - which is well worth it, especially in Dublin. Quickly seated, quickly given menus and happily served. The food was prepared quickly and served with a smile.
The ramen itself was delicious, I opted for the roast duck, while my girlfriend went for the roast pork - both were great but we both preferred the flavour of the roast duck broth. Both ramen came with the respective meats, noodles, a jammy egg, bamboo shoots, "black fungus" and scallions. The meals were very filling and we left feeling satisfied.
At other tables, some ordered the sides and shared a ramen which honestly seemed like a good shout. All of the food we saw being served looked delicious, which gives us more of a reason to visit again!
