13/11/2025: The food was very good, but unfortunately the service let the experience down. I visited last Saturday for lunch with four friends. When we received the bill, a service charge was included, which I don’t usually mind paying when the service matches the standard. I kindly asked for it to be removed, as we intended to leave a cash tip instead. However, when we left a smaller amount, the waitress commented that it wasn’t enough, which made us feel uncomfortable. When I asked why the service charge was mandatory, she explained it was because there were five of us at the table. We didn’t want to cause a scene, so we paid, but I believe service charges should always remain optional. It’s a shame, because the food was great, but the service experience would make me think twice about returning.

11/11/2025: My little son Kai 💙 Loves this restaurant. He is a little sushi monster. Kai said: “I love the food, it has amazing service, the waitresses are very kind and I get a lollipop, which makes it a 5 star service” ⭐️

08/11/2025: Today I ordered a Philadelphia roll and some plum sake. To my surprise, a fly floated to the top among the ice. The waiter took the glass and apologized, but instead of bringing me a new drink without the “extra ingredient,” they just removed the fly and brought the same glass back. I usually leave a tip, but this time the fly got it.

07/11/2025: Overall, good place to eat. Mixed opinion about dishes. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Appreciated the decor, very nice ambience. My husband loved the bento box, lots of flavor and good quantity. Not overly salty. I was looking forward to the Tatsuta Age, crispy ginger battered chicken breast with teriyaki sauce and wok-fried vegetables. The vegetables were lovely - fresh, crisp and not overcooked, but because the chicken was set on top of the veggies (a specific serving choice?), it was quite soggy on the bottom and unfortunately on the top as well due to the teriyaki sauce. I couldn't really taste any ginger either. It seemed the batter needed to be cooked longer, though the chicken seemed done; check the unaltered pics, kind of pale looking batter on edges as opposed to brown and crisp. We would probably try again, but I would personally avoid any breaded dishes.

09/11/2025: Very lovely place with amazing food and an even more amazing staff. I tried their vegetarian and salmon sushis which were super yum. Vegetarian main was also delicious. Book late night slot to enjoy a special song and guitar performance by the staff in the end. That was cherry on the cake!! Highly recommended place!

06/11/2025: The food was delicious. The chicken in the ramen was a bit tough, and the two pieces of sushi smelled very strong, so I didn't eat them just to be safe. But otherwise, everything else was excellent!

05/11/2025: Ordered delivery and paid extra for faster service. Don’t do it. It won’t arrive faster. Ordered the chicken ramen and the broth that was delivered was not chicken. Dumpling ramen super good even without broth. Sadly although I requested utensils or chopsticks, it came with none. Tempura shrimp to die for!! Nutella dumplings also yummy.
