20/09/2025: We just love everything about this restaurant. Great food great service great value. Just go.

01/10/2025: This restaurant is an airless casual wine & soba bar, not a fine-dining, high-end Japanese restaurant. No sashimi, sushi, or really anything that we were expecting. I reserved for the "main bar counter," about a month in advance as it is advertised as a chef's counter. It is instead a server station/overflow space where all we witnessed was three gals struggling to pour a pint. Menus are cheap paper with a long (tiny printed) specials board listed on a chalkboard. It is recommended to take a photo of these specials on your phone & "zoom in." We were not walked through anything despite saying it was our first time. I have never been asked to take a photo of something at an upscale restaurant in my life. Service was poor. Food was boring and expensive. For a bistro with a long list of specials, I would have expected to hear about a few of them. And for a wine bar, maybe a pairing could have been suggested. I would have rather spent our night in Cork anywhere else.

29/09/2025: Very similar experience to those listed; was expecting a 'Michelin star standard' experience and was very disappointed. The service was excellent but the prices for the standard of food were astronomical in comparison to what you get. An extremely underwhelming wagamama or soba springs to mind.

22/05/2025: Well, the sushi is great, so far the best I've eaten in Ireland

16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.

10/08/2025: Incredibly disappointing Beef Teriyaki. Completely lacking flavour and jammed with onions. Miso was ok. Dragon rolls were ok not great. Had takeaway from this place a few years ago and it was much better. Won’t revisit.

21/06/2025: We regularly come here for lunch and are always warmly welcomed. The food is consistently very good, fresh, and served at a fair price. Great value and service, highly recommended!

05/10/2024: Overpriced kip. Waste of your hard earned money and probably should just close down. Nothing you couldn't make at home and nothing special.

26/09/2024: Very pleased. Nice and quiet at lunchtime. Allowed for chatting without loud background.

06/09/2025: Took 2 hours for food to be delivered despite the place being 10 mins down the road. Staff could not care less to be in the restaurant.

23/08/2025: Been getting a take away from here for quite awhile now and I have to say this is the best Chinese in Drogheda! Their salt and Chillie chicken is amazing and some the old fashioned way, not just with that really salty salt shake put over it, special mention to Jodie who always answers the phone and her customer care is outstanding. Finally bit the bullet and went in for a meal last week, is t is the fanciest restaurant in town? No! Is the food amazing? Yes! And that’s all that matters when it comes to shelling out money for food. Give them a try! Also their curry sauce is amazing! Most Chineses these days has that lighter curry sauce that to me just isn’t a curry sauce. There’s is the old school darker coloured proper curry sauce! If you’re from Dublin you’ll know what I mean! 5 stars all round!!

26/09/2025: Worst Indian restaurant in Ireland Took 1.5 hr to serve us bland tasteless food. Good luck to the team working here. God bless
