06/12/2025: Food was absolutely disgusting inedible the salmon was the texture of a leather jacket the salmon was the kind of dry that only comes from being left out all day and the colour of it is grey and it smells like it has been left out my husband called for a replacement or refund and they said no I will upload pictures of the salmon because this is outrageous and disgraceful I wouldn’t feed this food to a dog

01/02/2026: The bistro is casual, and we found a warm welcome and a friendly team on a busy Saturday night. We were a party of 4 and selected a large variety of starters between us. I had the Agedashi tofu and the warm bucketwheat noodle broth with yuzu (almost impossible to get yuzu in Ireland!). I've been to Japan. It will ALWAYS be challenging to get the very same tastes outside of Japan 😃, but I really enjoyed both of these dishes, and they were very much what i would expect of the "classic/simple" Japanese flavours. Of the other dishes we tried, I really liked the starters of: pork, warm oyster special, scallops, and tempura mushroom. I am generally not as much a fan of Don/Donburi, so those will never be as high on my list! We shared the 2 deserts, everyone enjoyed them. I will be back!

19/01/2026: This was the worst service experience I’ve ever had. The waitress showed a complete lack of basic respect toward customers — I’m referring specifically to the waitress named Magda. Unfortunately, the food was also mediocre and, at times, poorly prepared. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

10/08/2025: Incredibly disappointing Beef Teriyaki. Completely lacking flavour and jammed with onions. Miso was ok. Dragon rolls were ok not great. Had takeaway from this place a few years ago and it was much better. Won’t revisit.

25/01/2026: Last time i ordered beef dry fry and kerala porotta I was disappointed with the beef dry fry I tried today again as a mallu the taste of beef dry was mouth watering thank you Greenchilli restaurant galway

05/01/2026: I'll tell you lads, amazing scran. 4 in 1 was succulent and the bubble tea was very refreshing. Quite a long wait time. Lovely

30/12/2025: Ridiculously long delivery and extremely poor customer service . Food arrived after 2 hours items were cold and the food tasted like it was a few days old .

22/05/2025: Well, the sushi is great, so far the best I've had in Ireland

16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.
