23/11/2025: I have been eating at Michi for years and I never leave disappointed. Even my usually picky kids love the food here. The staff are invariably friendly and helpful.
24/10/2025: Best sushi in Dublin, branches in Ranelagh and Dun Laoghaire also. Top class!

They offered some changes due fish allergy of my partner and it was really good
The natural wine is not my thing however it was a nice experience
The food, specially the meat was super good
31/10/2025: Too bad we missed the Michelin era of this restaurant, but in its current incarnation it still is undoubtedly one of the best Japanese restaurants in Ireland. I'm not a big cold soba fan normally, but now I'm a convert. The duck was sublime, and the cherry on top was a beautiful matcha panna cotta to finish the dinner. We will come back to Cork, specifically for this restaurant.
This is in my top 3 Japanese restaurants in Ireland, in league with Matsukawa in Dublin and Wa Sushi in Galway.

10/08/2025: Incredibly disappointing Beef Teriyaki. Completely lacking flavour and jammed with onions.
Miso was ok.
Dragon rolls were ok not great.
Had takeaway from this place a few years ago and it was much better.
Won’t revisit.
21/06/2025: We regularly come here for lunch and are always warmly welcomed. The food is consistently very good, fresh, and served at a fair price. Great value and service, highly recommended!

21/09/2025: Editing my review as honestly the wait has become ridiculous. It takes more than 1hour to get it delivered and we tried to collect it, the website said 30min with an exact time and it was another 20min waiting in the restaurant…. It’s not good enough especially for the price. We won’t order again.

16/05/2025: The server is really friendly and nice but the sushi was dry and the tuna was off, the rice was sticky and old. The miso soup was tasteless. Unfortunately if they do not improve their products, it's going to close because the sushi made me feel unwell. A couple of years ago the sushi here used to be very good. The prices do not justify the products.

24/10/2025: Food is amazing, just hope it stays consistent and always good, and I definitely will always come back.
Would be good to have delivery or lunch options as well.
Papadam given was from yesterday and would prefer the fresh ones.
Biryani is good and the meat mutton and beef are tender, definitely kudos to the chef.
Servers are definitely new but it's okay, good for learning and hopefully better in the future.
Food does take a while, but I assume the food is fresh, which is acceptable.
Overall an amazing experience, and would come back again to support this business. Just hope food stays consistent, always good, and will try other food in menu.
18/10/2025: Orderd Beef fry and Chicken Biriyani. Great spot for south Indian food in Galway.

Visitando Dublín desde Canadá para una reunión de clase Uni 2004 y quería llevar a nuestro hijo de 17 años a un viejo favorito...
Entró en Wagamama en la calle South King. por capricho y ¡TAN contentos de haberlo hecho!
Fue diagnosticado con enfermedad celíaca hace un año, así que todavía estamos un poco ansiosos al comer fuera. El personal era fantástico ... explicaron con entusiasmo las opciones disponibles sin gluten para él. La comida era 100% deliciosa como se recuerda.
Kudos al gerente, servidores y chefs que hicieron esta noche especial para nosotros! 🙏❤️
14/08/2024: Bueno, almuerzo pero demasiado ocupado personal. Estaban apurados y nos trajeron de nuevo órdenes equivocadas. Olvidaron preguntarnos sobre aperitivos y bebidas. Muy pocos camareros y demasiado tiempo para hacer cola a pesar de las mesas vacías

05/03/2025: We ordered from Naas in February for collection and they forgot an item (only prawn crackers but still really wanted them for with our meal). We drove 15 mins down 15 mins home to get them and it was sh*t but they were very apologetics and said they would add 20 euro to our account as we order regular enough every other week. Called today less than 2 weeks later and when I said about the credit they said no they would just give us free prawn crackers now. I said it wasn’t the prawn crackers it was the 30 mins drive down and back and my ruined meal the previous time. I should have got them to replace the whole meal at the time but was trying to be nice about it. Will not be ordering again very poor customer service. They have lost a regular customer.

06/07/2024: Nos encanta el sushi Taro. Es nuestra comida favorita. Todavía tenemos que visitar el restaurante en sí, pero si es tan bueno como la comida para llevar diría que es increíble. Los panecillos de tempura California son una prueba obligada - tan frescos, grandes porciones y tan delicioso. Me encanta la ensalada de tofu de algas de aguacate y si te gusta la comida fría y caliente juntos es un acompañamiento increíble para el pollo Katsu. Las cajas dobladas tienen tan buena relación calidad-precio y las verduras tempura para empezar son una necesidad!
