22/07/2026: Ordered a 3 in 1 and the half spicebag for delivery. I was told the order would be 40 minutes, after about 50 minutes I decided to call up just to see if I would be waiting long, to which I was told two minutes the delivery driver is nearly at my house. Another three calls and 40 minutes my food arrived. I can expect delays with it being a busy Saturday but it doesn't help when every time I call I get told two more minutes. The food was great, a lot of flavour from the spicebag. Which I have found to be lacking from other takeaways I've ordered from recently. I would add that considering the spicebag is open on arrival, I think it will quickly go cold even within normal delivery time. The 3in1, also tasty, so overall happy with the quality of the food. My main issue is the wait time, which resulted in my spicebag being cold and the 3in1 solidified. I will certainly order from here again as the food was good and I want to give it another go. Just disappointed by being told multiple times two more minutes and ended up being 90 minutes until it arrived

26/09/2025: We loved to go to Dashi and it was our go-to takeaway in COVID times. I ordered for collection on a Thursday evening at 7pm, half of the sushi options were gone and the curry and udon noodle dishes (or at least parts thereof) were heated in a microwave, and it still took them 25 minutes to put the order together. The dishes lacked veggies and where mediocre at best, and I couldn't finish the seaweed salad. Very disappointed.

18/09/2025: Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included. They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had😟 Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked👀

04/07/2026: Amazing food. This is authentic Japanese restaurant with everyday dishes. Nice vibe to the restaurant and lovely staff. Really nice staff. The quality of Provence if all ingredients was great. Nice quality of tofu and great duck . Sobha nodules really nice. Great value.

13/06/2026: I don’t like Indian food before but when I tried the buttered chicken with papadam in silver kitchen , loveeee it, I did order last week in my party, people kept asking where I got the food, highly recommended.

12/06/2026: Service was good, but the sushi themselves have changed since the last time ive ordered. I ordered large party set. Previously they had cucumber maki and radish maki along with the salmon maki and tuna maki, now cucumber and radish were gone. Omlet nigiri, i guess thats how they are called, now are twice smaller than previously. Also rolls with fish stufing were missing from my order. The lady owner that i used to always deal with regarding my order, she made sure the orders are right, no mistakes made and that the food was top quality, i havent seen her this time, so i am not surprised. This was my top 1 pick for sushi takeaway, even then i drove from Co.Meath. And when they closed down in dublin not far away from the city centre, i used to drive 1 hour and 40 min, just to collect my order from Sandyford. Now i think i will be looking for a new sushi takeaway, unfortunately.

20/05/2026: Dropped in for the first time for lunch during the week. Was really impressed. I’ve atmosphere inside and excellent food. Very good menu. Will definitely return.

07/08/2026: Not enough people for providing service. One person doing all service, billing, order taking etc. Went on weekday with with children and friends and made wait for more than 50 min. The starters served at the end and missed order made at very beginning. Family came with elders also seemed leaving due to waiting so long. Customer time is also valuable. Hope management will look into the issue.

04/08/2026: Editing my review after few months. The place has gone down, smells oily when we enter. Ordered chicken kizhi parota the other day and when it arrived the meat looked not like chicken! Then asked the sever about it before eating it he confirmed that it’s chicken! Took a bite and it was red meat! Guess what I got served beef! Beef! Yes beef! Due to my religious Belief I am not allowed to eat it but they made me eat it! Never going back again! Big thumbs down 👎
