17/02/2026: Went here for Valentine’s Day, the staff is super nice, the sushi is absolutely amazing and the ramen is such a big portion. I recommend you try it all! Especially on a less busy day

25/01/2026: Best sushi I've had in the city, we're very lucky to have lived within walking distance for years so we've visited countless times. Service is always incredibly quick, with friendly and welcoming staff. Decor and atmosphere are wonderful, it's just a fantastic place to eat. To top it all off, it's actually cheaper than similar Japanese restaurants. Grab a Tiger beer, a spicy tuna roll, and enjoy a wonderful evening my friends

03/02/2026: I'm not from Limerick but anytime I'm there, I'm trying to dine there. Food is so lovely. The variety is different than in other Chinese restaurants. Plus you can get the Japanese beer there. The service is great too.

The setup was well organised, and the service went smoothly. It really helped make the celebration stress-free. Thank you Silver Kitchen. Would definitely recommend!

26/09/2025: We loved to go to Dashi and it was our go-to takeaway in COVID times. I ordered for collection on a Thursday evening at 7pm, half of the sushi options were gone and the curry and udon noodle dishes (or at least parts thereof) were heated in a microwave, and it still took them 25 minutes to put the order together. The dishes lacked veggies and where mediocre at best, and I couldn't finish the seaweed salad. Very disappointed.

18/09/2025: Visited the place just for the first time, as I saw they have a lot of great reviews, and variety of options, but unfortunately were disappointed, as many of the ingredients weren’t just included. They show in the menu that the sushi has variety of ingredients, and a lot of interesting stuff like: asparagus, chive, chilli powder, and so, but unfortunately they just used instead of the asparagus the curcumber, and we had no chives or chilli powder, although we should have had😟 Also the trout sushi we had was half raw/and half cooked👀

28/12/2025: Nice place, good location, lovely ambience. The food was good but elements missing. There should have been miso soup alongside two meals, which never arrived. My dessert was ice-cream with tuiles cases and berries. There were 2 blueberries! That's a disappointment. Don't bother saying berries, if you are going to serve two! Don't say you serve miso soup alongside, if you're not going to do that.

22/12/2025: Very poor experience received by management not on the ground staff. We had booked for 16 people food and karaoke - they charged us a €320 deposit for this booking, €20 euro per person which we thought was originally a bit steep! This was also not redeemable against payments on the day. We had group of 13 sit down for food, we had 3 friends that were unable to attend on the day due to illness - typical of the time of year close to Christmas with flus etc. In total between food (€870) , karaoke, where we also had additional friends join (€420) and drinks probably €500+ we spent close to the €2000 mark. Food and service were fine but nothing special, expensive as Dublin generally is but there are much better Japanese restaurants in Dublin. They are now refusing to return €60 of the deposit based on the fact that we had 3 friends not sit down for dinner with us, despite the fact we spent nearly €2000 in Maneki on the night. They are saying this is because we didn't have an accurate number of people for the booking 5 days prior to the date of the dinner - anyone that has an illness surely knows that you can't predict it five days beforehand and you are doing the right thing by not attending and spreading it to everyone else, despite this still 13 of us attended and there wasn't any money lost for Maneki. They have stopped replying to our emails and it has left an incredibly bad impression on our larger friend group who are all based in Dublin, none of us will return to Maneki again and will not recommend it to anyone in our wider circles based on the experience. Table was also delayed by 20 mins when we arrived and the karaoke room was also delayed by 20-30 mins. Mics were also way to high in the karaoke room which wasn't very enjoyable but the issue could not be resolved by the staff. To me, it seems that they take the deposit to make sure that you do not get some of it back, they made us even sign a waiver for the karaoke in case of any issues, seems like an incredibly greedy business model! Any of the Chinese restaurants on Parnell St are a much better recommendation for karaoke in Dublin :)

14/02/2026: Ordered the food just after 7 through the shiki app and got the ETA as 8:12, ok not so bad that's reasonable especially for valentines day, then we had to call at 8:55 cuz our food still wasn't there got told it would be there in about 10-15 mins ok whatever, 45 mins later at 9:40ish we had called again wanted a refund because by that point we had just waited nearly 3 hours got told that there was only one delivery driver.. What?.. Isnt it easier to just get more people to deliver food then to deal with hoards of angry people questioning where their food is??? Finally 10:09 food got here, lukewarm, underseasoned and overall not happy

10/03/2026: I've never experienced such a despicable act in a restaurant as what happened at this place: the moment they placed the beer glass in our hand, it completely spilled. We called the waitress over, and after cleaning the table, they brought another one. To our shock, they charged us for. that replacement glass! When the bill arrived, we complained that we hadn't even tasted the first one by accident. She went to consult with the manager, and they charged us for it without a second thought. Aside from this appalling incident, the food is meager and expensive; some dishes are good, and the rest are just average. Moreover, the person in charge responded to this review denying it. There are three witnesses, plus the waitress who went to ask him.

04/03/2026: best sushi i ever had. also the restaurant is just really pretty i love everything about this place. we had to wait for a while for our food and it was kind of expensive but it was 1000% worth it❤ would totally recommend

11/01/2026: We came to the restaurant and asked to be seated, but were rudely refused and told to move, despite the restaurant being almost empty and the tables not being reserved. When we asked whether a particular beer was light or dark, as we had never tried it before, the waitress replied rudely: “I have no idea what kind of beer it is. It’s just beer in a bottle, OKAY?” Such behavior is unacceptable in a hospitality setting. The food, especially the sushi, was genuinely tasty and I would recommend this place for the food, but the service was disappointing and needs serious improvement.

13/12/2025: my fave food spot in clonmel, their ramen is amazing :-) Portions are huge and the chicken is halal too !!

01/10/2025: Incredible spicebag for only €4.90 and it came with a free curry sauce too.

09/09/2025: First time to get a take away here. Portion was smallish and the beef green pepper didn't taste like it normally should. Disappointing

22/02/2026: I love the Malaysian vegetarian tofu curry here, flavours are delicious but I don’t find the sushi options like the rolls and maki dishes taste super fresh. A little disappointing on the sushi front but love the curry !

05/02/2026: We purposely drive here to get Sushi because the meals are fresh and delicious. One of the best Sushi we have had to date.

21/01/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Osaka Sushi is an amazing place with fresh, delicious food and beautiful presentation. The sushi is always perfectly prepared, full of flavour, and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast and professional. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Japanese cuisine. I will definitely come back again!
