17/05/2025: The worst sushi I've ever eaten, nothing is fresh and the staff is a bit bored! I don't recommend it in any way!

27/07/2025: An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Really delicious and plenty of options too if sushi isn’t your thing, though I’d highly recommend it. Staff were lovely. Can’t wait to go back.

26/05/2025: Love what they’re trying for here and hope they can make it work but won’t be eating here again until they deep clean their prep space. You can literally see the grime from standing outside the counter in the queue. Just wiping down surface areas doesn’t cut it when you’re working in the food industry guys.

20/05/2025: I had the vegan rolls and absolutely loved it! Everything was super fresh and delicious. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend it!

05/04/2025: Cute little place in clonsilla , seating for around 20 people. First time eating at this place and in short the food and place were lovely. If you like noodles I tried malysia nasi goreng which I'll definitely recommend. I'm fan of spice boxes and I'll say their mega spice box ranks 2md in my list in Dublin , go for it , not the same taste as chinese place but it's really good , cooked well, spices used are good , and the crunch is to the point. Green chicken thai is just ok , I have tasted way better , maybe they miss out on the right amount lemon grass or galangal . The cost for the dinner for 2 people will tops 50 euro, we took 3 dishes and had to take home half of 2 main dishes . Complimentary prawn crackers are served . All in all I'll prefer this place anytime compare to other fast foods nearby . Will definitely visit again to try more . Fast service and ambience is warm .

09/08/2025: Brought us steamed rice and when we asked why it wasn’t fried like we ordered, they said the egg was fried. After the waitress argued that egg fried rice means only the egg is fried, the manager came over and argued the same thing. We’ve had this food numerous times all over Europe and the US and egg fried rice means the rice is fried. Extremely disrespectful staff.

09/08/2025: I specifically ordered fried rice and was given steamed rice. When I brought it up to my waiter she blatantly gaslighted me and then disrespectfully left our table. When I went to talk to the manager I got the exact same response. Absolutely awful service and they forced me to pay for something I didn’t even receive. DO NOT COME HERE

14/07/2025: Really enjoyed our visit to Maneki. Staff were friendly and upbeat from the moment we arrived. Service was very quick and food was delicious with wonderful presentation and generous portions.

24/06/2025: HORRIBLE customer service!!! Traveling from Canada, we decided to stop in here (June 23 6:20 pm) as we are staying in Drumcondra and have dined here before as it was one of our favorites in the area However, that will be our last. We were seated and then absolutely ignored. The young guy behind the counter proceeded to take 3 takeout phone orders then the last straw was when 2 gentlemen came in to order takeaway. Instead of telling them can they wait a moment so that he could take our order as we had been sitting there for quite a while with no drinks nothing he proceeds to take their order. That was it for us, we got up and walked out. No apologies nothing To the owner of this establishment, I think you need to have a chat with your staff as you are losing customers. Completely unacceptable

30/07/2025: Everything about here is amazing, the staff and customer service is brilliant, the prices and portions are great and the food is the nicest around, always so fresh and tasty, you won’t find a better Chinese takeaway around!

24/07/2025: my first time here was very positive! The staff were lovely and I personally really loved the decor of the restaurant. It's not too big of a place but I enjoyed the coziness. There wasn't much of a wait either as the food came quickly

21/07/2025: Grilled steak chunks in Miso soup is a big no and the soup is definitely not made fresh. Was recommended by the staff although I requested Pho soup .. for 18€ a bowl absolutely would not recommend.. the other entries i noticed at nearby tables looked quite good however the restaurant is a dim light unkept hole in the wall...

12/03/2025: High quality sushi and sashimi. It might be a little more expensive than the boxed sushi in the supermarket, but well worth it IMO.
