Takara

Dublin
12/06/2026: This restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes (ramen, noodles, bento boxes, teppanyaki, tapas) at affordable prices. It's definitely worth a return visit. The bento box was good; I'll gladly come back.
11/06/2026: There will be a queue, best to get there just before 12:00 if you’re going for lunch

Wasabi Bar & Grill

Dublin
08/06/2026: The food was very good and the service was very good! It would be even better if they hired me too! 😂❤️❤️
08/06/2026: Pretty disappointed with this place. It was half empty but we waited a long time for our small order for 4 people. The sushi itself was mostly tasteless and a bit dry. They forgot my wife’s side dish and when we reminded them, after we were well finished the mains, it still didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes (a side salad!) so we got up and asked to have it to go. The juices were nice but arrived warm, room temperature. I had to add ice to make them more drinkable. Also, when ordering using the online menu with the table QR code they auto add the tip, perhaps because they suspect you won’t add it yourself. Pretty cheeky for a table under 6 people. Finally, one of the two men’s toilets was busted and wouldn’t flush (see picture). All in all, not recommended.

Izumi Japanese sushi & Chinese

Dublin
05/06/2026: food was quality! great service!
05/06/2026: One of the best Japanese/Chinese restaurants I've visited in a long time. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, full of flavour, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Every dish we ordered was excellent, making it difficult to pick a favourite. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. The owner, Eric, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued as customers. His warmth and passion for the restaurant really shine through. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. If you're looking for a place you'll want to return to, this is it. Highly recommended.

Musashi

Dublin
07/05/2026: We had a great experience with really good Pad Thai. The Sushi was okay but nothing to special. Service was really friendly and we got our food fast. Didn’t had to wait for a table but might be a good idea to have a reservation on the weekend.
06/05/2026: All is very tasty. Took 3 miso soup.

Musashi

Dublin
24/05/2026: Absolutely delicious food! Fast and friendly service. Good place for company lunch gathering ! highly recommend!
20/05/2026: Genuinely the most disgusting fried tofu I have ever had. I got the tofu katsu curry, and not only was the outside mushy because they poured the (very bland) katsu all over the top of it, the batter was undercooked to the point of it being a dark stretchy goop like the inside of those old alien toy pods, and worst of all it wasn't even battered correctly because the inside was literal slime. It was so full of oil that the tofu fell apart in wet, slimy little chunks. It was genuinely inedible and made me feel sick. I have NEVER had tofu that bad before, and I have never sent food back and asked for a refund before this. I know it must be an issue with the chef, because I've had the exact same dish at Musashi in Swords and enjoyed it! That's why I thought to order it again here. The chef also argued with the poor server who brought the food back and told her to come back out and tell us that he hadn't cooked it wrong because "the oil was the right temperature", as if that's the only thing that could have possibly dictated the quality of the food. My partner ordered the vegan ramen, which she has also had before in Swords and enjoyed, and it was so totally bland that she couldn't keep eating it. She also sent her food back. I had heard from someone else that they hated the Musashi tofu and refused to eat it because it was so slimy, and I couldn't understand why they'd think that until I had this experience and realised it must have been this restaurant that they had been to. Do not come here for vegetarian food.

Ramen Kitchen

Dublin
06/06/2026: Great find for a good bowl of ramen! The broth is delicious and the service was great. The pricing is reasonable and is better than most ramen places in Dublin. Would recommend. 10/10
02/06/2026: This place is a little gem. Tonkatsu Ramen was fantastic, the chasu pork was some of the best I’ve had, and the broth was super flavorful. Sushi was also solid.

Koi

Bray
17/03/2026: Visited KOI for the first time last week and was really impressed with everything, the cleanliness of the restaurant, the service and especially the food, this is a great restaurant and definitely the best Chinese food in Bray, I've already recommended it to several people and I will definitely be back myself very soon, fab 👌
02/03/2026: Encouraged by good reviews, I decided to visit the restaurant. it was Sunday afternoon, When my family and I went to the restaurant, there were only two tables occupied, I thought the waiting time would be quick for the three dishes we ordered. To my surprise, we waited 55 minutes for the food we ordered, the rice in the dishes was definitely reheated, it was rice cooked at least on Friday or Saturday, my child who loves rice, unfortunately after trying two or three spoons he didn't want to eat it unfortunately the chicken in sauce that we ordered was not the freshest either, after two hours we were all sick.

Soup

Dublin
07/05/2026: I've never reviewed a place in my life, but the food was amazing genuinely, the Korean fried chicken is a MUST HAVE. Gluten free and strictly coeliac options are available here for almost everything on their menu, in my short visit there the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere in the place felt very chill and cosy, I may have to dine in next time instead of ordering collection but I'll definitely be back!
24/04/2026: Been here multiple times, the Ramen is brilliant. The Pork Ramen with shoyu is particularly good, I'd also recommend trying the Korean fried chicken for starter and the Bombay butter chicken Ramen. Also, great choice of music!

J2 Grill & Sushi, menu

Dublin
05/05/2026: Overpriced. I ordered the nigiri omakase for dinner and it was 33€ and only 7 pieces!!! They didn't disclose that on the menu. Not even a miso soup complimentary. It was definitely not enough, and for 33€ I expect at least to be full. The quality of the sushi was ok by Western standards but below average by Japanese standards. The Burger King across the street had double cheeseburgers for 3.5€ and I guess you could buy 10 of those for 7 pieces of sushi here. Would not come back here.
03/04/2026: Wow, wow, wow! A fantastic discovery. A must stop if you are a sushi fan and visit Dublin. The staff's attention is excellent, above 10! Friendly, attentive, nice. He welcomed us with a hot tea. We ordered a second round of food and he gave us two more tempura prawns, since there were 5 of us and the reactions are three units. The food is of excellent quality and made with love. We highly recommend it, so hopefully we can come back soon. Thank you very much for everything! :)
