03/01/2026: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the service. The waitress was quite rude and rushed us, and she also complained about us not being happy paying the service charge. This is not Japanese-style hospitality at all. The food was alright, the prices were reasonable, and the environment was okay. I wouldn’t return. 😕

31/12/2025: The place is very pricey and the website is misleading. Just before the visit I checked the prices on website. The ramen was 18.25, when we were ordering the price was easy higher around 25. It's fine for me to pay such price if the food is tasty and I get a good service, but our experience was very different from it. We waited quite a long time to just get the tap water and asked for it 3 times. The ramen itself was average.

24/11/2025: Our experience was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this place, especially for the live cooking show, which was very funny. The sirloin and the duck were both of the highest quality.

26/12/2025: I was very disappointed at Seafood ramen. It was toooo spicy and almost no seaweed in it. In the menu it was not mentioned that Seafoos ramen is spicy. I couldn't finish the dish. The tables are super tiny and the stuff was not very pleasant. The toilet is a disaster and it smells so bad... Very disappointing experience

23/11/2025: I didn't eat in the restaurant; I ordered takeout. I ordered a sushi combo, and the fish was good quality, the portion was adequate, and the price was reasonable for Dublin: €30.

19/11/2025: My wife and I had a great experience. The service was impeccable and they really know how to serve their clients. The food was delicious as well, so no complaints on that regard. We weren’t even going to order desserts but they are so attentive that we decided to try and it was good. I included a tip to show appreciation. We’re definitely going back.

07/01/2026: A spur of the moment dinner which left us impressed with value for money and happy to enjoy a Dublin institution. After work, we wandered in and were seated quickly in front of the windows with a view of George's St. The service was impeccable and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry and my partner the Regular Dinner Bento. We were very pleasantly surprised with what came out, the curry was delicious with a generous breaded chicken breast on top of steamed rice and served with a luscious curry sauce. Pickles and a cabbage salad on the side brings freshness and crunch. His bento was even more impressive, lamb curry, teriyaki haddock and huge pieces of cod karaage with the usual bento accompaniment of sushi, miso soup, rice and salads. I hadn't been in such a long time and it's wonderful to be pleasantly surprised by an old favourite.

07/01/2026: This place is the best for ramen! Such great value for money, I ordered the seafood ramen and had so much fish😁 Podge was a pleasure to have as our waiter, such a lovely and welcoming person thank you for making an amazing meal even better!

19/12/2025: Ordered online yesterday for dinner and it was absolutely spot on. The food arrived piping hot and fresh as you like. Dead handy process to order and the quality is just as good as sitting in the restaurant itself. Fair play to the lads, a lovely feed.

05/01/2026: High quality sushi with excellent service! We tried a variety of dishes off the menu and particularly enjoyed the california roll. The interior of the restaurant is small so I recommend booking a table in advance, as when we arrived our reserved table was the only one not occupied. The staff are very respectful and kind, along with the food being well worth the price, Tani is my go-to place for sushi!

11/12/2025: Cute place I tried after checking into hostel next door. Servers weren’t overly friendly, but they were efficient and on top of things. It’s small inside, so I waited about 10 minutes in the rain for a table. Not too bad, as the place was busy. I ordered the Takara Rainbow Set. Unfortunately, the sushi did not taste very fresh, and the tuna didn’t look fresh either. I usually inhale a plate of sushi, but I didn’t finish this one. I don’t know if it’s just the time of day or week that I came in, but I was disappointed. But I would try the place again, as I like their menu options and the vibe was cosy.
