03/02/2025: waiting time last weekend was disgraceful, more than hour for Food? No thank you. You should prioritise customers eating in. Many take aways was going out when we were waiting for our dinner. Food was very tasty, waitress very nice. Only this waiting time. Sad because we love that restaurant.

19/01/2025: First time dining in one of the towns newest eateries and what a pleasure it was fine food well priced, attentive staff and lots of them. We shall be returning.

04/12/2024: We had our day two celebrations in Clancys Back Bar on Sunday 24th November 2024. Clancys was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator in the Clanard Court Hotel last year when we went to visit the venue. We went down to visit that day to discuss having our day 2 celebrations there. From the minute we entered the pub to enquire, Emma and John could not have been more helpful. John took all my details and said he would contact me closer to the date. When I say John is lovely to deal with, it’s an understatement. He went above and beyond with every little detail. He took over the planning of the day for me. I had told him we wanted food & a dj, I also said we would like transport to & from the hotel on the night. He organised everything… he contacted a local caterer directly & organised the food for us, he contacted the local taxi company and booked a coach to pick us up from the hotel and collect us, he booked the dj for us… all we had to do was pay. It took so much pressure off us as we were so busy planning the wedding. He honestly couldn’t have been more helpful in the lead up to the night, checking in to see if there was anything else we needed etc. What can I say about the night itself? Unbelievable….. Clancys is such a great spot, we had full access to the back bar and outdoor garden area. When we arrived, John had put up decor around the place; just married signs, mr & Mrs signs etc. which we didn’t even request. He was so so helpful on the night constantly going around to everyone to see if they were ok & needed anything. All the staff were so helpful also. Such a lovely bunch. We finished off our wedding weekend celebrations in the best way we could, I could not recommend Clancys highly enough. We will be visiting the Clanard Court Hotel every year on our anniversary and will be going to Clancys for a drink without a doubt, we already can’t wait to go back. 01/12/2024: The vegan treat I got was inedible unfortunately took one bite and really didn’t expect it to be so bad may just be an acquired taste… the coffee was surprisingly not great despite good reviews but could’ve either gotten a bad shot or the beans may be not my taste.

14/01/2025: Meeting an old friend with Collette for a coffee,we were last to leave on Saturday evening.Lovely atmosphere and we were not rushed out by staff

19/01/2025: Avoid! Veg is left to rot on the shelves, there is black mould all over the shop, and a horrific smell as you walk in giving an overall feeling of uncleanlines. Staff are lovely and friendly, however the way they are treated by management is abhorrent. Witnessed a male manager tell a girl on check outs to 'not be lazy', the poor girl had just finished dealing with a long line of customers so was not being lazy at all, he seemed to be on some sort of power trip. Friends of mine have witnessed simmilar incidents of disrespect from management to staff. Wont be shopping here again.

07/11/2024: Stopped here for lunch on a cross-country trip, we were glad we picked this restaurant! The sweet potato fries were the nicest I've ever eaten, it was great to be served fresh tasty food in such a nicely presented way. Very cosy seating and pleasant staff.

29/12/2024: Went in to just check as i was passing by but ended up buying the food is 5 star service quick n excellent

28/11/2024: Pizza is very nice, chips always tasty, curry 10/10, kebabs and burgers are also very nice. Just a little bit dear with prices.
