12/01/2025: They always use fresh ingredients and they have a nice variety in their menu. The coffee is very nice. I love their open sandwich made with sourdough bread, topped with smoked salmon, mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
10/12/2024: I love coming here for lunch, brunch and even breakfast sometimes. We also have gotten take away numerous times and it's my go to for take away coffee while out walking!
Their gluten free club sandwich is my favourite. The gluten free bread is delicious, as is their protein balls. Also their soup is very tasty, especially the spiced sweet potato and coconut one!
The staff are always so friendly and accommodating too.

12/02/2025: A little disappointing. Went here with friends at the weekend. The starters and desserts were lovely, though almost €20 for a prawn starter was very steep. The mains were disappointing. A tiny piece of fish on a risotto for one and when asked to change the risotto for potato it was a hardship. The best part of the meal were the cocktails we got to start.
06/02/2025: Went for lunch, I visited the restaurant many years ago and had fond memories of a wonderful meal and decided to try the place again. I had the slow cooked braised steak it was delicious for dessert Crème brulee. The atmosphere was buzzing the service excellent with super efficient friendly staff the food divine. I would recommend the restaurant for all occasions.

12/02/2025: Stayed here with friends on a Saturday night. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious.

02/01/2025: This small cafe in Kildare is a gem.
I met my son's two friends for an anniversary coffee but we ended up having pancakes together and they were DELICIOUS, like seriously.
Really friendly staff and superb coffee. They are quite new so I hope they survive. Cafés are always vulnerable so support them!
28/12/2024: Food was lovely and the staff were so nice and the food was served quickly. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

30/10/2024: What a place!!!!!!! If you are a tourist, don't be afraid, it's locals place and there you will find a proper Kildare Town welcome. All of them beer drinkers are locals and what a characters you will find. I remember one of them even offered me to share his pint bottle of Bulmers hahahha. Well, if you are in town you have to drop by for a proper black shtuff. AMAZING place!!!!!!

14/02/2025: Been here twice as me and my boyfriend loved the food. He got the beef ,Yorkshire pudding ,veg and I got the Asian spicy infusine. Absolutely loved the food and drinks . Would definitely recommend . The chairs are in an open space ,wish they were more private with some boards or trees but wouldn’t really worry about this . Recommend for couples and families for special occasions. Doesn’t have much parking when it’s busy but there’s shops nearby you can park to.
02/02/2025: Food was very poor. 8 chicken wings as a starter for 12.50. no issue normally if they are good and fresh with a homemade sauce. These were refried or airfired again they were dry and the sauce was very sparse and certainly not homemade. Then ordered the "homemade burger" I honestly think it came out of a packet, like a big Al's burger. Was very low quality meat. My chips had been reheated / redipped in oil again and we're not nice at all. My wife ordered a caesar salad. It wasn't fresh. Would say made this morning and left in the fridge. Kid goujons were the same as the chicken wings; tough and refried. We complained and they did take the main courses off the bill. But still charged us €27.
Service was nice and place has a nice atmosphere.
