24/08/2025: Went for dinner last weekend with my family. Our first time there and will definitely make the journey from Cork again to visit. The blade of beef was top notch and same goes for the service. The front of house manager looked after us so well, she was on the ball. Thanks folks, see you soon

13/08/2025: Wow wow wow!! My first time here while visiting a friend. The food was amazing. The desserts were 👌🏻 the staff were so lovely. I think our server was called Alina/Alima (sorry if I've gotten this wrong) she was so friendly and recommended the specials for us as we couldn't decide. We will definitely visit again when we are back in Ireland

07/09/2025: We had an absolutely phenomenal lunch at Strongs Café, on our way to Cork. If we had time to stop on our way back, we would’ve stopped! We cannot recommend this place enough. The food is fresh, delicious, and healthy. Even our 21 year-old picky eater who loves less than healthy food love her meal. The coffee is also delicious, the service is excellent and the place is incredibly cute. Don’t miss this place!

27/08/2025: Cosy - is the word I'd use to describe the restaurant. Glorious is how I'd describe the breakfast menu. Lots of choices and will easily fill a belly for the rest of the day. Easily will return and have since being.

03/08/2025: Agapé is a must visit for some good grub in Kildare. The servers are all very friendly, the portion sizes are great value for money, and everything is very tasty. Full marks.

15/07/2025: My friend and I wondered in just before Christmas, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially, with my vegan needs. It was an experience rather than simple dining. Absolutely stunning food! Highly recommend to visit this restaurant, and to experience the cuisine and the hospitality of O’Dooles! It is definitely going to be a memorable experience!

05/07/2025: Amazing little restaurant. Came across it by accident recently and I'm so glad I did. The food was amazing and they also do really good cocktails. Great place for a nice evening out. Very pleasant staff and very accommodating for gluten free foods.

19/06/2025: Been there quite a few times recently. The food is high quality and well made, but in my opinion, it's the coffee that stands out. Probably the best latte I've ever had. Just be aware that the shop is quite small so getting a table can be hard at peak times.

26/06/2025: Popped into JB Mahoney recently and honestly, what a find. It’s got that rare mix of proper character and a genuinely warm atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. The Guinness? Spot on, creamy, smooth, poured with care. You can tell they take pride in it, which is more than you can say for a lot of places. And if you haven’t tried the Algerian, you’re missing out – bold, rich, and absolutely delicious. A proper pint to remember. The bar staff are brilliant, friendly, funny, and somehow manage to keep everything running smoothly even when it's packed. Even, the teachers chap I was speaking to inside. JB Mahoney’s strikes that perfect balance: welcoming, down-to-earth, but with real quality behind the bar. Whether you're in for a quiet one or a few rounds with mates, this place just gets it right.

11/08/2025: came here hoping for a good meal and left pretty disappointed. i ordered the “spicy bacon bourbon burger”, which sounded amazing on the menu, but it was overcooked to the point of being dry and barely had any of the “spicy-bourbon” sauce on it. for the price, it honestly felt like a scam. to top it off, our server miscounted the change for someone in our group and didn’t bother double-checking the bill. not the absolute worst dining experience, but definitely not somewhere i’d rush back to.

06/08/2025: Great atmosphere but there are not enough options for the menu, many dishes not available. Update I have come back several times since, and indeed, the choices are varied, the atmosphere is pleasant and the dishes are delicious. It’s a place I always like to come back to.
