13/10/2025: I got my pierogi here today OMG the name of the place says it : Delicious!!!coffee also amazing -I would say one of the best in town, staff and Kasia very friendly, happy to help you out with choosing the meal. Cakes looked great next try I will give it a go! Highly recommended!

04/10/2025: Dora has catered for us on several occasions over the last few years, my sisters wedding breakfast, my daughters birthday, my sisters baby shower and the biggest one was my daughters communion party. I can’t begin to say how wonderful the standard of food and service was, let alone how cost friendly the catering was compared to other services. If you have any type of event coming up I couldn’t endorse Dora’s catering more!!
We have just booked again for another party we have coming up and know I can rely on her and the team for their seamless operation and delivery of amazing food x
02/10/2025: Dora May catered for a recent lunch we hosted. We selected catering for 20 with 2 mains and 5 sides, and also platters of sandwiches and desserts. Dora took all the stress out of the day, turning up punctually and supplying cutlery, napkins and plates which i was not expecting. All the food was delicious and everyone complimented it. I will happily recommend DoraMsys and will definitely use her again.

28/10/2025: A regular trip for evenings out as a couple is great here. Or a trip as a family to try some thai food. I usually get the thai green curry which is rich and creamy and delicious. I typically get the highest spice rating and this is afaik the spiciest place in Newbridge, if you have a higher spice tolerance for an Irish person it's lovely, otherwise temper your expectations. Staff is always wonderful and typically you can walk in to plenty of tables.

19/11/2025: Lovely food at a good price point! There were 17 of us (ranging from 3 to 80) at a family gathering so we booked in advance online. Vivian rang to get our exact requirements and check if it was a special occasion, very nice touch! No hassle booking for an extended slot. We were in a room at the front which was absolutely ideal. Smallies were corralled and adults weren't concerned about noise affecting other patrons. Lovely friendly staff, very patient with kids and the general chaos. Great menus to suit everyone. Kids desserts were fab!! On street parking is scarce but plenty of parking in the shopping centre directly across the road at only €5 for the day. Highly recommend on all fronts, we will be back!!

02/11/2025: Changing my review as whilst it is still great im not sure it is the absolute best between naas and portlaois anymore. Not that it has gone down in quality, just more competition.
Some things were missing from my order today but i would not mark them down for this as mistakes happen and this the first time.
The biryani i ordered was one the most flavourfull of the places ive tried outside some places in Dublin.
01/11/2025: Very tasty and aromatic food, beautifully presented. Friendly service. I recommend the Tikka Masala Lamb.A very nice evening with 15 friends.

The chicken burger was absolutely delicious and the highlight of my visit-juicy, flavorful, and well worth it. I also tried the cheese & garlic fries along with the fried chicken, but those fell short as they were quite greasy and had a hint of old cooking oil. That said, the menu has some great value options, and the pricing on certain dishes is a real steal. The staff were friendly and kind, and it was convenient that they accepted Revolut payment when I didn’t have cash on hand.

Great portions for the price and the crispy chicken is fantastic here.

15/08/2025: Little gem of a cafe. Came across it a few years ago and call in every time im in newbridge. Food is always freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff are very helpful too. Will continue to drive the 60kms from home to eat here anytime im in the town

I rang the restaurant and the excuse of a manager wouldn't even speak to me, he shouted across the kitchen in mandarin to the fella I was on the phone with. I want a refund but he wants to give me more slop for free the next time i go there. I am very disappointed in the food and the service. I will never go back to this place.
23/07/2025: The food was absolutely delicious and very good value for money. The staff, there, are always so friendly and helpful. Tracey is such an enthusiastic person with such a bubbly and happy athmosphere. Recommend this restaurant 10/10

22/09/2025: We were quite a large party for the restaurant, 13 in total but they were very accommodating. The occasion was a birthday.
The party included a 93 yr old, 2 type 1 diabetics and 2 people on restricted diets for health reasons. The menu was varied, lots of options for everyone and the staff were very helpful.
The food was excellent, everyone was very happy with their choices. Highlight included chicken in porcini mushroom sauce (main) and the calamari (starter); younger party members had pizza and loved it.
The atmosphere was very relaxed and pleasant; no rushing, attentive staff without being intrusive and good value for money.
Highly recommend if you're looking a great dining experience in Newbridge!
