04/07/2025: I stopped by for PIZZAS in Newbridge .I parked my car . I noticed 3 staff, smoking outside Terfible with their uniforms on bringing germs into the place . Turned me off stranght away . Wonder did the wash their hands .. Smoking dirty habit ... We were going to order PIZZAS .But what I saw . They have lost business over it .

21/08/2025: I had the chance to try a Chinese takeaway just outside Dublin yesterday, and it turned out to be a great find. I went for the meal deal, which came with chicken curry, rice, and prawn toast. The curry had the perfect level of spice with a generous amount of tender chicken. The prawn toast was crisp and tasty, pairing really well with the meal. I also tried the Szechuan shrimp, which was full of flavor and came with plenty of shrimp, noodles, and fresh vegetables. Everything was well-cooked and nicely balanced. Overall, a very satisfying experience and definitely a spot worth revisiting for quality Chinese takeaway.

27/09/2025: The prices have gone up and the water is not cold anymore. The music is too loud and the food quality is going down. Too bad they have not kept the standards up after the change of ownership. We used to go every week. Now, after a few unpleasant experiences, maybe we will try it every couple of months to see if it's coming back up.

10/09/2025: The food was amazing, fresh pizza with tuna was my first time having a pizza with fish, I loved it as a first experience. Get the fresh cut fries for starters, they really will make u feel like appreciating it the quality of the food. Non of the food was oily. Leaving made me feel like wanting more, I will visit the restaurant again

22/08/2025: Went Eddie Rockets for lunch, food was fabulous and fast, i was very impressed with the 2 asian chefs working very well together in busy environment.

26/07/2025: Would not eat food from here again. The staff was rude and not helpful. Half of them stood outside on the street talking and the ones who stayed inside were very impatient and rude.

15/04/2025: Ordered from here based on other reviews but for the price the food is not great and portion size is small. The lamb bhuna the texture was muddy and no taste. Both curries bought was mostly sauce no meat. Naan was almost paper thin. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

02/08/2025: Coffee chain spot with public WiFi and plenty of indoor seating including outlets. Good work spot if you’re being a laptop/tablet. Decent coffee and food. Close to local shops. Street parking available.

24/03/2025: Certainly! Here's a review you can use: --- I have been a regular at Insomnia Newbridge for a long time, visiting almost daily with friends and our dog. The manager has always been fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and always accommodating, making the café a great place to relax. However, in the past few days, there seems to be a new supervisor who has made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Their attitude is unwelcoming, and the warm atmosphere we always loved has completely changed. Despite the manager always allowing dogs inside, this new supervisor has suddenly made an issue of it, which feels unnecessary and unfair. We haven’t seen the manager lately, and honestly, it’s disappointing to feel unwelcome in a place we’ve enjoyed for so long. I really hope things go back to the way they were, as this café has always been a staple for us in Newbridge.

12/04/2025: The Singapore fried rice was very good and the portion was massive. Spice bag was well, I'm not sure. The chips were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was as good as you get but the chicken? What was that? I've eaten my fair share of chicken but that was not chicken, certainly not like anything that I have ever tasted. It was oily and had a fat content that even brown meat of chicken does not have. Snake? I'm not sure, it was definitely not chicken.

20/09/2025: Really good McDonald’s before it went on fire. Since it reopened, I don’t know if it’s new staff or new management but it’s absolutely terrible. Extremely slow service, especially the drive thru, completely defeats the purpose of ‘fast-food’ and they always either mix up the orders with another customers or miss items in your correct order. They reduced seating in restaurant when it re-opened presumably pushing people towards the drive-thru, but you’re left waiting for long periods of time in the drive thru Que to not even get your correct order. This McDonalds is easily the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to and sadly it’s my local McDonald’s!!!!

07/09/2025: Service is shocking slow and yet they still got the order wrong 3 times!! Staff stink of BO on the floor ! They should have left it closed

08/08/2025: Been going to Bradburys for years it has a nice atmosphere and the service is good, recently there have been changes to the cakes which have a mass produced feel and do not live up to the standards of previous years, today I ordered a toasted roll with chicken and a coffee got charged an extra euro because I asked for it toasted, starting to question why I go now

21/06/2025: Cake was stale and coffee cold. Disappointing considering this used to be my go to spot for coffee with a friend for years.

06/09/2025: Paprika are a stalwart in Newbridge and they always look after their customers. They go the extra mile. They are part of thr fabric of Newbridge and you always feel like you're a genuine friend when you come in.
