The best restaurants in Newbridge

27/01/2025: I cannot recommend Dora Mays Catering enough. She took an order last minute and the service was amazing. The sandwich platters are to die for and everyone commented on how good they were and how fresh the bread was. I will definitely be ordering again.

19/01/2025: The girls are great!! Needed some catering last miniute and the girls helped me out big time with the nicest sandwiches ever, it's always a good sign when there's none left over 🙂 So helpful and lovely to deal with, will deffo be back! Thanks again girls!

24/12/2024: Mediocre breakfast that had all the hallmarks of being re-heated. Rashers were tired. Fried egg reminded me of those hotel buffets. The white pudding was browned on one side only. The sausages were ok. For the price being charged, this should be cooked fresh.

19/03/2025: Major Gripes: The starters came out worryingly quick. Some of the €14.50 prawns I ordered were grey and cold, which is raw, raw shellfish of all things. Thankfully I didn't get sick from the two I ate before I noticed. The excuse given was the kitchen was busy with take-aways, poor excuse. The €8.50 bruschetta were cold on pre-toasted bread and didn't taste of much, the balsamic glaze was on the plate not on the food. The €38.50 8oz (more like 6oz) fillet steak which was ordered medium rare came out very rare, almost blue. It was the tip of the fillet which is a hard piece to cook right if you don't use a meat thermometer, which they should have. The steak was chewy, not as good as what you can buy in most supermarkets these days. Minor Gripes Processed powdered parmesan should never be offered in a restaurant charging €19 for pasta. The pasta dish was tasty but was too small for €19. The €6.50 large sparkling water came out room temperature, no ice. Plates were cold. No hand towels in the men's bathroom. Without asking they removed the bruschetta from the bill. If you are going to charge those prices you have to get it right.

17/03/2025: Popped in last Sunday and had the early bird. We had the brushetta and ceasar salad for starters and the burger and chicken dish for mains...the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

25/02/2025: The spice bag I got was like no other, it tasted phenomenal 😋 the chicken was nice and crispsy and chips were sweet and spicy, delicious chips 😋 The best spice bag I ever had! The lady was very friendly. I can't wait to try they're sweet chili chicken recipe 😋

02/03/2025: I normally get zambrero for lunch on Saturdays normally go in but as I was sick I got it delivered the burrito was amazing as always but I decided to get a berry smoothie when I finished the smoothie I noticed something at the bottom of the cup as I opened it to see what it was I was absolutely appalled to be met by a spider leg I took a video to show my sister and mother and they were just as appalled as I was Other than the leg I'd highly recommend zambrero

08/03/2025: I've bought from this restaurant regularly for a few years. WE always get Classic Crust. And we always collect from the store. Recently the crust on a few orders was thin, like Italian. We shrugged it off once or twice as a mistake. After the 3rd time it happened, I queried it when collecting. One staff member tried to convince me that I got the right crust. Even when I showed them the difference between classic and italian crust, they still claimed I was wrong, the order was correct. Another admitted they were making the classic crusts "pencil" thin, and claimed the "company had told them to". I think this is a problem with this specific Franchise. I got a refund and won't be going back.

Food was tasty and served by Tracey without any rush. Also packed up left overs to take away. Will definitely return.
