The best restaurants in Newbridge

04/07/2026: Dora’s food was the best Ive come across in Kildare having used a few different caterers over the years. Plenty of food and great quality incl. For the Veg option and gluten free options. Couldn’t recommend enough, super service and guidance in advance too, many thanks

05/01/2026: Dump. €10 entry just to see suspicious activity everywhere you look. Please don’t come here if your looking for a good night…

28/12/2025: dj did not play my song even though bro said he would. bad out. bro had tunes but no pretty green eyes. #get better dj. fire vibes tho.🔥🔥🔥🔥

26/09/2024: Lovely brunch/ breakfast! The eggs benedict and pancakes are really tasty. The menu is really reasonably priced too! The only thing is the food is not hot-hot more room temperature, the 3rd time I went in I did ask them to make sure it was hot and it was though! So maybe just ask. The staff are friendly and didn’t mind. Would definitely recommend.

14/09/2024: The best place in the town for breakfast, food is amazing, plenty of it too. It's also comfortable bright and clean and the staff are so lovely. My partner says the coffee is delicious also. Highly recommended. Edit as of 14/09/24 It's worth noting, this cafe has moved from it's previous location on the street-front on station road to inside the small mall across the street. More seating is now available.

05/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for the chicken burger) The chicken burger was absolutely delicious and the highlight of my visit-juicy, flavorful, and well worth it. I also tried the cheese & garlic fries along with the fried chicken, but those fell short as they were quite greasy and had a hint of old cooking oil. That said, the menu has some great value options, and the pricing on certain dishes is a real steal. The staff were friendly and kind, and it was convenient that they accepted Revolut payment when I didn’t have cash on hand.

16/08/2025: Fantastic taco chips around. Great portions for the price and the crispy chicken is fantastic here.

26/05/2026: Beef burger was inedible. Must have put a bucket of salt into it. My wife’s stir fry was ok.

31/01/2026: Food was OK desert was dreadful, need to up your game, could be alot better

28/08/2025: This place was fab up until new owners took over,. Orders are been cancelled religiously, they don't answer the phone, food isn't the best, very oily, but the whole canceling orders is a joke!

03/08/2025: Me and my parents ordered and got chips battered sausage and a burger Chips had nothing in them or they were rock solid definitely reheats battered sausage was burnt This chipper has gone massively downhill

27/02/2025: Excellent food, fabulous staff. I have never had a better meal or service in a cafe. Always a great welcome. Love everything about the plave

04/10/2024: Went there today one of my friends sandwich had a hair in it we returned it no body apologised or even offered her anything else. She didn't pay for the lunch as she wasn't charged we all paid and left the premises we were followed out by a very rude member of staff and asked to pay for the tea our friend had plus €1 for an extra filling in an omelette which was a complete oversight. We are all seniors and were treated terribly by that member of staff. Won't be back

31/08/2026: It’s as good a pint of plain as I’ve ever had. Some other places come close but none are better that at Cons

22/08/2026: The best Guinness in the world 🌎
