The best restaurants in Newbridge

19/02/2025: Very nice staff and not so long waiting times for meals. The food is really delicious, is definitely worth a visit when you want good and delicious food. The chicken curry tasted a bit boring for Indian food, but the chicken wings in BBQ were fantastic. 🤭😍 Thanks to the whole team 🍽👨🏾‍🍳. Ich wurde des öfteren leider vergessen und wartete mal halbe Stunde.

12/12/2024: waitress was very rude and abrupt, atmosphere was lovely - but service was just awful, waitress was rude, abrupt - we were given desert menu and she came back about 30 seconds later to get our order, I apologised and said we hadn’t looked or decided yet and she placed both hands on the table and stood waiting for me to make up my mind! I was humiliated - definitely giving me the message to hurry and we weren’t getting time - so I’m afraid you need to sharpen your customer service and be pleasant - very gruff service - alot of leaning across you to collect plates and put out cutlery - I had to sit back and push my chair back to stop being knocked - so always loved going to the Keadeen and have had great times there but won’t be back for a long time - there are more welcoming restaurants in Kildare - I know this waitress has been there a long time - and I felt like she was being aggressive and personally rude to me!

02/05/2025: ***WOW*** Walked into the door, to a large open space with tables and seating areas, to then be greeted by a lovely staff member at the till. The prices of the meals were a very pleasant surprise. We were seated immediately, and within a short amount of time, the food started to arrive. The food in this establishment, would have to be the freshest and tastiest food we have eaten. Every mouthful came with an explosion of flavours. Each meal is quite a substantial size and will leave you quite full when you are finished. The food is great value for money. *The Kebabs are by far the best we have had in years*

30/03/2025: My and my husband waited over an hour for the food, we then rang up and they said it was on the way. We rang up again another 20 minutes later - it turned out the employee lied and they were on putting it on and they were busy as they forgot or it didn’t print no gesture of goodwill I am a customer there my whole life absolutely horrible customer service 🤮

13/02/2025: Got home to discover the salt and vinegar ratio was about 90:10 in favour of the salt option (very heavy handed with the salt). Chips are good, if just a little dry and pale.

24/05/2025: Sorry had to change review, was very excited luigis was back, they missed that I left a note on order not to knock or ring door bell as i was getting ready for night shift. they rang my phone to let me know they were outside however thier number comes up as expected spam and also u dublin number when I've ordered food in kildare. Said order would be sent again and be there in 10 mins which is fine, but 20mins later still no order so I rang to cancel as I'd to go to work but "manager" I spoke to second time was rude. I wasn't complaining I was only cancelling, she hung up the phone without even telling me if my money would be reverted I was still talking when she hung up. Very bad customer service when I wasn't complaining only explaining why I had to cancel. Pity as was a very good take away before.

09/05/2025: Totally recommend the kebabs, the half pounders are very tasty.Higly recommend the staff very friendly and very approachable.

12/04/2025: The Singapore fried rice was very good and the portion was massive. Spice bag was well, I'm not sure. The chips were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was as good as you get but the chicken? What was that? I've eaten my fair share of chicken but that was not chicken, certainly not like anything that I have ever tasted. It was oily and had a fat content that even brown meat of chicken does not have. Snake? I'm not sure, it was definitely not chicken.

23/03/2024: Very disappointed with the food today. I'm a vegetarian and there were burnt bits of bacon in my chips. I didn't eat my lunch as I was concerned about what else might have fell in. No apology when I said it to the man at the til.

03/05/2025: Only order from Paprika if you are a glutton for punishment and despair. Or maybe you enjoy food that is somehow both raw and also overcooked. The burger was rock hard to the point where if I threw it like a frisbee it would come back to me. I also asked for no onions and they gave me every onion they had left. The dough on the battered sausage was basically raw. If your gut tells you not to order from Paprika, I implore you to listen to it. Don’t make the same mistakes that we all made.

27/03/2025: Had a kebab from here last night, absolutely sensational. Top class from start to finish, 5 stars, would recommend to a friend or family member.

12/01/2025: Food was good and friendly staff. Ordered an ice cream with the kids meal and by the time we realised we didn't get it it was too late... Check the order before you leave. Otherwise good experience.

02/03/2025: The worst kebab I've ever eaten in my life. It was cold, full of mayonnaise and a disgusting salad, served very unappetizingly. No garlic sauce, no chilli sauce, no fresh lettuce or cabbage, only a few pieces of meat, mayo and a horrible salad. We stopped there only because we were starving coming back from Dublin to Limerick but the food was absolutely disgusting. We all didn't eat it and left.
