17/11/2023: One of the best kebabs I've ever eaten: succulent chicken wrapped in flat bread (freshly baked on the premises), with the freshest crunchiest salad leaves and lashings of delicious homemade garlic and chili sauce. Gorgeous fresh cut chips (not frozen like you get in most kebab joints). We ate in and got chatting to the friendly owner who offered us cups of traditional Kurdish tea (on the house). The bill was shockingly low for such gorgeous food. Total gem.

18/03/2024: Love visiting and getting some hot chocolate,everything is so fresh and local which is lovely! My favourite is the mocha with oat milk and a brownie.The little cafe is so cute and staff is always so friendly.

07/02/2024: Amazing chocolates! Some original varieties and all are just amazing. We ordered small 4-piece boxes to gift to guests at a small wedding and they were a huge hit. Staff are wonderful, very helpful. And they make amazing coffee and hot chocolate in the shop.

26/03/2024: Amazing food, fantastic location, wonderful host. I highly recommend Legan Castle to anyone looking for a relaxing break in the tranquil Irish countryside. Caroline went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable stay. Can’t wait to go back!

23/02/2024: Amazing fresh sandwiches and the bread was to die for. Yummy sweet treats and fresh latte rounded it out. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options also at an affordable price.

30/03/2024: The bill was writen on the notebook paper, we did not get receipt, so we don't know what was the actual price of wine, because it wasn't on the menu.

24/03/2024: The food was okay. Service is fast. Some of the Italian speaking waiters are not very friendly though, even on the border of being rude. This is a bit puzzling, considering Italians are generally quite warm people.

14/01/2024: Absolutely amazing selection of whiskey and very knowledgeable bar staff. I have visited a few times and definitely will be back soon . The rooms at the back are also very good for parties

02/04/2024: If you you're American or you've had authentic Southern style bbq before you’ll be disappointed. For Irish standards it was OK, I'd recommend DeRoistes instead. What was wrong? The brisket was smothered in bbq sauce, this is not how it's served in Texas. The slices should be a quarter inch thick with a crunchy salt and pepper bark on top. This brisket was sliced as thin as wafer ham with zero bark. The pulled pork was dry and not pulled, more so in small chunks. The ribs were also dry and not really falling off of the bone as they should. The cajun fries and corn on the cob were good but these are sides not the main attraction. The chili beef nachos for starter was also good. All in all it was middling but a long way off of authentic Texas style low and slow bbq

04/05/2024: Coffe taste is bad, like burned, double esspreso looks like one on pics-no taste. Servise mixed our order americano and esspresso, for cappucino and single esspresso, water bottles taken out from storage room, completely dusty. Customer next table asking us for milk as they forget about her…

03/05/2024: Went here today and was disgusted with the treatment we got, there was one employee in particular, never asked for his name but had tattoos all over him, as we were going to pay he made a very explicit comment to me and my underage cousin, and then as we left grabbed my underage cousin and said to him “call me” in an un-jokingly manner. Very unprofessional, disgusting behaviour!!
