24/03/2024: Our waitress could have been friendlier, the building is lovely, steeped in history. Lovely fine dining, great as a treat.

01/04/2024: Had a romantic getaway with my boyfriend here this past weekend. The rooms were comfy and the food in the restaurant is delicious! Can't beat the convenience of having dinner and a few pints and then walking upstairs to your room! Even though the pub got pretty busy know Friday night, we couldn't hear it once we were in our room. The breakfast room was cute and the Irish breakfast was delicious and very filling!

23/03/2024: Service terrible, food OK, atmosphere zero Was here for a stop while passing through. Somehow you feel more like a nuisance but by no means welcome. Staff stands around looking at the TV and seems to be trying to ignore the guests. In every other restaurant in Ireland the question was asked several times: is everything OK? Is something missing?... but not here. For example, I had to take care of the missing cutlery myself. Food is OK but nothing special. Quite good in quality, but below average in terms of quantity. If I had known this beforehand, I would have driven a few meters further into town to find alternatives. Conclusion: If you are extremely hungry, why not. In all other cases it is better to find an alternative.

23/02/2024: Popped in here today for lunch during short visit to the town. Had looked on google maps to see what was available so thought this place looked goid based on reviews. Was not disappointed - nice welcome from friendly staff, food was good and not too expensive. Had soup, BLT and Chips with Cappochino. First impression was good, recommend a visit and definitely will return next time in area 👍
