24/03/2024: Enjoyed a fantastic meal in the busy Bar at the Brandywell recently to catchup with family and friends. Food was only delicious. Best steak sandwich ever! This little gem overlooking the main street has such a clean, beautifully decorated cosy relaxing atmosphere. Loved the lillies in the ladies, nice touch! Excellent wheelchair facilities and access to the bar and resturant. Lovely to meet friendly and efficient Jo and staff. As was Gerry the owner not forgetting Hugh who was so welcoming made our visit very worthwhile. Will definitely be back in the summer to sample the cocktails.

23/03/2024: The brandywell is absolutely perfect. The food is second to none, the service makes you feel welcome, and the accommodation is great too! Jo and Gerry are always happy to look after anything you need, all the staff are very friendly. The brandywell hunger buster burger is one I’ll never forget, i look forward to visiting again very soon 😁

01/04/2024: Had a romantic getaway with my boyfriend here this past weekend. The rooms were comfy and the food in the restaurant is delicious! Can't beat the convenience of having dinner and a few pints and then walking upstairs to your room! Even though the pub got pretty busy know Friday night, we couldn't hear it once we were in our room. The breakfast room was cute and the Irish breakfast was delicious and very filling!

23/03/2024: Service terrible, food OK, atmosphere zero Was here for a stop while passing through. Somehow you feel more like a nuisance but by no means welcome. Staff stands around looking at the TV and seems to be trying to ignore the guests. In every other restaurant in Ireland the question was asked several times: is everything OK? Is something missing?... but not here. For example, I had to take care of the missing cutlery myself. Food is OK but nothing special. Quite good in quality, but below average in terms of quantity. If I had known this beforehand, I would have driven a few meters further into town to find alternatives. Conclusion: If you are extremely hungry, why not. In all other cases it is better to find an alternative.
