03/01/2025: Absolutely delicious food and great atmosphere in the bar at scholars. We enjoyed a very tasty vegan risotto and steak cooked to perfection. Cocktails are also exquisite and the staff are the best you’ll find, every member of staff was friendly, helpful and engaging and that along with the great food makes it a fantastic dining experience.

31/12/2024: Went in on a very busy day. Booked in for 3oclock we were there 15 minutes early took ages to take our order food only came out at half 4 and we were then told we had to be finished by 5 for another booking was not impressed with this. Food was nice but won't be back.

18/12/2024: Got a delivery tonight and it was un eatable. Pizza from a Italian you'd think be good. All cheapest of processed food and over cooked and dry . Had to trow it all in the bin even the chips where covered in black old burnt bits of cremated food .

04/09/2024: One of the cleanest and "fresh" looking pubs I have visited (and I've been to a few 😆). Only stopped in for a coffee and cookie, both were excellent. Had a very nice talk with one of the owners and you can easily hear the passion. Don't let the outside fool you, go in and enjoy the large garden terrace or lounge area.

31/12/2024: The only thing I'd say is that I didn't reserve the chips with my dinner they came out after I was finished eating had to send them back

26/12/2024: Ordered 4 breakfasts 2 small and 2 large. Was charged an extra €12 for 2 pots of tea. Should the tea not come with the breakfast??

07/01/2025: While the food is delicious, having the waitress ask how much you want to tip is very off-putting. To have them ask you when your partner, who had to leave early for an engagement but had already left a tip w the same waitress but you were unaware, is disgusting. Your food is delicious but you need to re-train your waist staff & put manners on them.

19/12/2024: I am a coeliac and allergic to gluten. I asked the waitress did they do gluten free pasta and she said yes and took my order for one of their pasta dishes as gluten free. When the food was brought out I double checked with the waitress and asked if it was gluten free and she said yes. I was the only one at the table who ordered pasta so I trusted the staff that it was made gluten free. However, about 2-3 hrs later I was very sick and it’s the sick feeling I get when I eat gluten and the feeling comes within that timeframe, so immediately I knew that I had eaten gluten. I was getting sick non stop all night. This all could have been avoided had antica Toscana been less careless and made me gluten free pasta. Really annoyed and disappointed as I was told it was made gluten free but it clearly wasn’t.

05/01/2025: I love this place, the vibes, the tunes, the staff, iconic, immaculate! Updating this too cause I would highly recommend if one of your gang is the designated driver, as they've started doing mocktails and the Cuddle on the Beach was so good and very reasonably priced! Hoping they expand the mocktail range too but the cocktail range they have now is stunning should you be having a drink!
