Scholars Townhouse Hotel

01/05/2025: Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and so accommodating. We arrived at 10 am, tired and jet-lagged and they hurried to get a room ready for us and allowed to check-in right away. It was greatly appreciated and everyone was lovely during our stay.
30/04/2025: I haven't stayed there but in the many many times I've eaten there, the food and service has always been excellent.
Highly recommended 👍👍👍

10/03/2025: Very nice and chill place to come for food and a quiet drink on a Sunday. Staff in here are so lovely and chat to you as well which is nice because it shows they have an interest in your life and they’re not robots!
Food was delicious, although it took a while to come out, the wait was worth it. I had the chicken burger and it was gorgeous. For dessert I had a brownie and likewise it was lovely, portion size was just perfect for me.
I’d definitely go back again on a Friday or Saturday to see what it’s like when it’s busier because it’s a nice spot!

27/03/2025: Dropped in here for a coffee ☕️ . It operates as a cafe and later a public bar later in the day. Located in a quieter area of Wexford town. In an area that needs a coffee dock. Seems to have a good reputation with its locals and passing trade.The coffee is not bad.Would love to check this place to sample it night atmosphere. Well worth a drop in.

02/03/2025: Saturday thev1st of March myself and 4 friends had a meal in your restaurant and a few drinks after the meal we were asked to leave as there was a private function starting we spent 180 between us and put out we were told we couldn't go to the bar as it was full but we could wait outside in the cold till they had room for us we weren't a bit happy about this as we planned on staying out for the evening having a few more drinks and catching up

02/04/2025: I travel around with my job and would grab a coffee from different areas, in the mornings and by far this has to be one of the best latte coffee! Most coffee doesn’t taste as good half way through but this coffee keeps its delicious taste! colombian coffee beans the best! Highly recommend!
27/03/2025: Always good except one time the staff were super stressed I think something was not working in the kitchen but that was a once off, the toilets well just say they resemble a poky Italian place in that regard

Great Guinness and service.
05/03/2025: Clarkes is a lovely traditional bar in Drogheda. A great pint of guinness and a friendly atmosphere. An old-school type of place with no tv or loud music to interrupt conversation. If you are doing the Drogheda Camino, you can also get a stamp here. A perfect way to finish the Camino.

27/04/2025: Had sit in once and was fine, was busy so was we where in the overflow kinda room but was absolutely fine staff lovely, got take away there today 27/04/25 nd have to say was absolutely lovely so complements to the chef and staff for a lovely sunday takeaway dinner i had the beef and it was only massive 💙👌🏻 defo recommend if u like a good carvey dinner with all the trimings and will be 💯 getting foid here agaun and again.

13/04/2025: I was trying to socialise with some women, a servant approached and asked If I knew was this group I said no, he told me I should leave them alone, I replied I am alone just want to make some friends he insisted that l leave them alone I replied fine I went back had some of my drink I then came back to the bar handed my unfinished drink and left, not happy at all the group of women I tried to talk had no problems with if its a problem to talk to a group of people then there is no point of going, He interfered with my conversation
