01/02/2025: We loved our stay. The staff were fantastic as was the food and bar. The room was quite basic and a little tired as welll as small for 2. Room 105. The shower head needs changing. It was hard to change the temperature on the shower. Need conditioner as well as shampoo. But loved that you had Smart TV. Even with the feedback on the room we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you xx

23/01/2025: This is the second time I have stayed here and once again the moment we arrived we were greeted with such a warm welcome. The room was perfect and the bar/restaurant has a great atmosphere. Excellent service and great food. What an amazing breakfast also. Amazing hosts always going above and beyond.

08/02/2025: Went out today to watch the rugby. The rugby was on the tv that we sat beside. We ordered a meal and were having drinks... over an hour after we arrived men came in and sat beside us.. they asked the bar man to change the tv to the horse racing, which the barman done... while 5 other people including ourselves were sitting there watching the rugby. When I asked the bar man to switch it back to the rugby which we were watching.. I was told "it doesn't matter that you were here before them men, they are regulars of 20 years and you are not" absolutely shocking. We were there before the men arrived and it should have been left at the rugby. Would not recommend the Greenmount to anyone at all. They put their "regulars" above anyone else even though we were there for a good 1.5 hours before them. Shocking behaviour from them. Won't be returning.

03/02/2025: Not up to it's usual standard. Food was ok. It was cold inside and the excuse was the door was opening and closing...really?

10/02/2025: This is a great place for friends to meet,for peaceful experiences and for every age to feel welcome. The staff are second to none... always obliging... endlessly patient..and constantly on the move....where do they get their energy? My favourite "wake-up" is double expresso,but also the croissants (cheese/ham toasted or the vegan rolls make an excellent breakfast or snack any time of day.Endless varieties including banana bread are there for the trying. It is a cornucopia in every sense. Well done guys... keep up the great work!

04/09/2024: One of the cleanest and "fresh" looking pubs I have visited (and I've been to a few 😆). Only stopped in for a coffee and cookie, both were excellent. Had a very nice talk with one of the owners and you can easily hear the passion. Don't let the outside fool you, go in and enjoy the large garden terrace or lounge area.

03/02/2025: We ate here last night and it was delicious. Excellent service, atmosphere and food. We shared the duck pancakes for starters, they were delicious, fresh and so tasty. I had the pasta, and again so fresh and tasty and my husband has the fish special. Could not fault it. Service is top class. Each waiter it on the ball. We were looking over in difficulty at the specials menu and the waiter saw us and came over and read it out to us. Another noticed our near empty glasses and was straight over to ask us do we need the same again. This kind of service is needed in more restaurants. Excellent!!! And this was on a very busy bank Holiday Sunday evening. Well done to a super place to eat and excellent staff.

09/12/2024: I have been a regular customer at Burkes over the past year and I got to say I fairly enjoy being there. The staff are always friendly and food doesn't take long to arrive. Food is rather cheap compared to other establishments around the area however it does not take away from the quality of said food. I quite enjoy the cozy atmosphere of this establishment too.

06/02/2025: Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food. Great service. Best in the evening at weekends. Reasonably priced. Nice decor in the upstairs restaurant. Not wheelchair friendly. Don't let the rundown appearance of the street entrance put you off. Recommended.

05/01/2025: I love this place, the vibes, the tunes, the staff, iconic, immaculate! Updating this too cause I would highly recommend if one of your gang is the designated driver, as they've started doing mocktails and the Cuddle on the Beach was so good and very reasonably priced! Hoping they expand the mocktail range too but the cocktail range they have now is stunning should you be having a drink!
