11/01/2026: Some of the items we bought were nice found it a bit pricy and the place is very messy the si down part is now used as a storage area and is in full view of customers also man making pizza was not wearing any PPE hair exposed clothes grubby

24/02/2026: I wouldn't feed this to my dog, and I don't even have a dog. 2 stars because if you catch the bacon cheese fries on a good day they're alright. The hotdogs taste like missing people and the burgers have stale buns and the patty is greasy. Miserable with milkshakes too, 90% milk.

24/02/2026: The price is good for what you get. However, I saw the owner preparing burgers and was concerned about hygiene. He was touching various things with bare hands, washing dishes, and then going back to handle raw meat without gloves. It didn’t seem very hygienic. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

07/03/2026: 2024: Food was really hot but wasn't fresh, 3 fish sandwich. Fish was fried long time ago but sandwich was made fresh. 20 nuggets boxed also too long ago, just soggy, fries was the best thing. But wasn't fairly filled. drinks as always never has ice but we all accepted that problem. The mc crispy was good tho. Well-done, Update 2026 7th march Attach images for reference Why buns always grilled? Food was made by who?!, I'm asked to sit at waiting bay 2 so the fish can be burnt, looks nicer in picture for some reason. Added an extra image to compare but why the cheese be like bean bag toss game?

08/03/2026: Ordered on their website order accepted and delivery was estimated 19.07 (35mins) 75minutes later, i rang back to see where my food was. Apparently they had not seen the order. They asked did i want the food. I said i do id paid for it and waited 75 minutes. 15 minutes later the food arrived clearly just thrown together as the cheese just slid off the pizza. The cheese itself was ideal for someone attempting a world record cheese pull not particularly good when its not on the pizza. Don't think I'll bother attempting delivery roulette again. Not worth the hassle or the wait 90 minutes in total

31/05/2025: was here the other day got chips and chicken burger and fries well if that is what u wanna call them i would say that they where in the fryer from the day before they were soaked in grease and crisped and my friend got chicken and chips and garlic spicy sauce and was horrible again chips in it was same waste of money... the picture shows some of what the chips where like.

06/12/2025: Ordered the food at half 6 app said order would arrive at 7:30pm, food never came. We had to ring them at 8pm they told us the food would be there in 30 minutes with no apology on the phone for the delay. Food arrived past 9pm, 2 and half hours wait, we sent the food back and had to contact the app for a refund I would avoid this place terrible service

29/08/2025: Standards have dropped dramatically. Was a regular visitor to this hotel and would visit 2-3 times a year and brought family and friend regularly. My last two stays I have to say were terrible. We went as 2 adults and 2 children. First time people smoking in the rooms with the doors open I reported it and nothing happened the same the next night and was told its probably coming in from the balcony. People shouting and banging all hours of the morning and again nothing done. The quality of breakfast is probably a 3 at best where it was always 9-10 and then I was charged an extra €2 for a cappuccino at breakfast (never seen that before ANYWHERE). spoke to the waitress and was told there's a new chef and it's just been brought in.Got in touch with the hotel afterwards to complain and got 3 different people to email. Eventually the manager got in touch much with me and apologised and offered me a deal to return and to just contact him that he wants to prove it was a once off.. When I did eventually contact him for a return for 2 adults 2 children and returned it started on check in. First room we were giving was one double bed 1 single bed ,I went back to reception and giving another room and again it was 1 double one single. I went again to reception to ask was this a joke. The girl gave me keys to another room and told me to check the room first to see if it was okay. The room was downstairs and didn't feel like part of the hotel. There was plenty of beds but the double bed mattress was wafer thin and very uncomfortable. I rang reception and the other lady came and brought me to another room 512 and asked was it okay. It looked good and had the double and 2 single beds as required. The lady apologised and was very helpful. When my son sat on his bed he nearly fell off it as the base was broken, again I called reception and the lady came back and seen the bed and again apologised and went and got a base off another bed. We just accepted it as we Had Been through 4 rooms already at this stage. First morning breakfast was okay and fresh but the next morning we were waiting on bits to come out from the kitchen then got burnt breakfast and was served our milk in a teacup with not even an apology. I reported all this to the manager by email when we got home and his response was. ,thank you for your feedback.. So if that's the general managers response it says it all. Cannot see myself returning here anytime soon and can not recommend this hotel to family or friends.... Just seen this hotel is now up for sale so that explains why the management couldn't care less....

15/07/2025: The D Hotel is closed to tourists until 2027. It is being used as a Refugee Reception Centre until then.

07/12/2025: I drove from Balbriggan to get the food from that place and I’m really very disappointed. I asked 4 Tikka kebab with 3 extra naan bread and I asked everything separate. So instead of Tilka kebab she charged me for Tikka tray and she charged me separate for 7 naan when she should changed only for 3 extra naan. I ordered 1 chips. So instead of €55 she changed €65. Pictures are attached the mount of chicken they put in the try. Looking at the chips for €3.70 it’s just unreal and ripoff. This place is scamming people in day light.

25/01/2026: Good food but quality not what it used to be and prices have increased dramatically over the last couple of years , been going here for many years and it was our favourite Chinese Restaurant.. but seriously needs a revamp as it's looking tired now , carpets worn and toilets aren't great , nothing done to it in over 20 odd years and it shows unfortunately.

30/12/2025: Ridiculously long delivery and extremely poor customer service . Food arrived after 2 hours items were cold and the food tasted like it was a few days old .

14/02/2026: I’m very disappointed with my recent visit. The food was not tasty at all and did not meet expectations in terms of flavor or quality. On top of that, the wait time was extremely long. We were only two adults, and the restaurant had just three tables occupied The place wasn’t fully booked, yet it still took far longer than expected for our food to be served. Overall, the experience was frustrating and underwhelming. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Never again, I would highly suggest not to visit, Avoid this place! Waste of time and money.
