25/04/2025: Very lovely place with amazing food! We arrived 30 minutes before closing and we were not expecting them to serve us, they were so nice and warm with us. Totally worth the experience and you will have plenty of food! Definitely a place to come back once again.

13/04/2025: There were 26 of us attending last night. We were made so very welcome. The service was excellent and the food just as good! Such a friendly atmosphere. Nothing fancy in the decor but it’s all about the service and the food. Very tasty Lebanese food. It’s a BYO restaurant and no corkage fee. Chef came out to talk to us and the main maitre D was very friendly. Lovely girls waitressing. A lovely warm and friendly evening with great food.

04/04/2025: I have so many good things to say about Daos....not sure why l didn't write about them sooner.l regularly order takeaways.The food is delicious! The staff our so nice.l have had consistently good food and service for many years now.l haven't had any bad experiences,l do understand it's hard sometimes if your hungry and waiting for delivery to arrive but it's well worth waiting for.They have a wonderful choice and despite the huge menu they can still facilitate any options with regards to adding or removing ingredients.Thank you to all the staff at Daos for years of good food,service and even some welcomed banter!! 08/05/2025: Disappointing Due to Arbitrary Decision-Making I recently visited The Grey Goose, hoping for a pleasant evening out, but my experience was overshadowed by an unreasonable refusal at the door. Upon arrival, the security staff asked if I had consumed alcohol beforehand. I honestly answered that I had drank one beer while walking to the bar and placed the empty bottle in the bin directly across the road less than 30 seconds before. Despite this, I was denied entry based on the assumption that people who drink beforehand are "more likely to cause trouble." This reasoning felt arbitrary and unfair, especially given the context. Scientifically, it is impossible for the effects of alcohol from a single beer to show within such a short period of time, less than 5 minutes in this case. I displayed no signs of intoxication or disorderly behavior, yet my entry was denied solely due to a broad and unsupported assumption. Afterwards I visited three other bars that evening, each time having at least two beers, and encountered no issues. I was welcomed without judgment and treated based on my behavior, not assumptions. This made the refusal at The Grey Goose even more puzzling and disappointing. While I respect a bar's need to ensure a safe place, I believe decisions like this should be made on observable behavior rather than stereotypes. I hope the management reviews its policies to ensure fairness and a welcoming atmosphere for responsible people in the future.

13/04/2025: I was trying to socialise with some women, a servant approached and asked If I knew was this group I said no, he told me I should leave them alone, I replied I am alone just want to make some friends he insisted that l leave them alone I replied fine I went back had some of my drink I then came back to the bar handed my unfinished drink and left, not happy at all the group of women I tried to talk had no problems with if its a problem to talk to a group of people then there is no point of going, He interfered with my conversation

16/03/2025: This is an excellent restaurant and great staff. Would recommend to all and the prices were reasonable when compared to value of others that were higher priced. Very happy and looking forward to visiting again
