23/03/2024: Had the pleasure of frequenting this establishment recently and must say we had a brilliant experience from the moment we entered..we had food and drinks....The staff were fantastic and a special mention to the lovely girl at the the bar Geraldine for the fantastic service.Will definitely be back.

01/04/2024: Booked a table for 11 people for Easter sunday lunch for 2pm. Firstly table was only set for 9 people. Waitress took order slightly after 2pm, got starters they were nice, 10 past 3 waitress comes back to say they had no turkey & ham left so 6 orders had to be changed. An hour and 25 mins later still no mains on table. Mains came, cold, veg was hard. Kids meals was over cooked. Offered to “microwave” meals, if we wanted microwave dinners we wouldn’t book a table in a restaurant. When paying said it to the waitress who then went to speak to “Donal”, comes back 10mins later shocked looking that we complained. Donal apparently the owner, if he cared about customer service he would not have sent an employee to deal with the complaint he would have spoken to us himself. Paid the bill, Awful experience, Never will dine here again.

01/05/2024: The sushi was delicious. I ordered a sushi plate, where the head chef chose the individual types for me. For some it's a great option, someone would rather choose it themselves. I'll leave that up to you. First, they bring you a free cup of tea on arrival, which is a nice welcome gesture. They offer a wide range of dishes, not only sushi, but also other Asian classics. The only thing that could have been better is the service, which did not pay attention to us, even though we had empty plates on the table for a long time and wanted to pay. Restrooms otherwise fine.

21/04/2024: Everything was nice, I had sushi and they were so good, and they served us with juice as soon as we came to the table.

26/02/2024: This was my first visit here and hopefully won't be my last. This place has a cosy ambiance with a live fireplace. Staff are friendly and efficient. Though I am not totally herbivorous, there are some vegetarian options on the menu should you feel like chomping green. Food was delicious and service was prompt. Parking is on street but there was ample room when I visited. This might change in peak season. Sea view is fabulous and is a sight to behold whilst watching the sun setting on the horizon. This is definitely on the return agenda.

02/04/2024: We popped in to The Lisdoo on impulse as a treat and had a dreadful experience, in fact it ruined our entire evening. I made a simple request, steak & chips plain, no sauce, no side salad, no dressing, no garnish, just the meat on the plate and I'll return the plate, I couldn't have made it any clearer and they couldn't get that right. They brought out a steak that had mushrooms, onion rings, tomatoes and God knows what else on it. This may well be fine for most people who visit but when you don't eat that stuff because you don't like that stuff then that's nothing short of infuriating and frustrating. I returned the course and refused anything further. My wife & child had their meal and we left. We would not recommend The Lisdoo nor would we return.

24/03/2024: Lovely friendly staff, food was delicious. We had chicken croquettes with spicy mayo for starters for mains. we had a buttermilk chicken burger and teriyaki chicken sandwich, and for desert, we both had Black Forest gateau. Everything was delicious. We look forward to coming back.

07/02/2024: Never knew this place was here service and food was excellent. We were there for lunch and it wasn't too busy . Excellent choice of food and they didn't have what I wanted but they went out on s limb to accommodate me 🙌

01/04/2024: Very modern feeling decor with a comfortable dining experience. The menu is concise and has something for every palate. The food is excellent and is served with little fuss and in good time. The staff are friendly and attentive. The cost is on the higher side but great value for the food and service provided. I would fully recommend to anybody.

08/03/2024: I'm done with life after that meal Jesus the food was fresh roasting hot on point . Staff are brilliant . I had the papa roma a monster of a burger that left me sweating . Lids had pork chops and tenders the tenders where perfection crispy on outside juicy and flavourful on the inside. Curry sauce piping hot. Only bad points it's it's quite cramped and toilets are tiny and they don't take card payments or touch payments of Any kind cash Only which is their choice but in this day and age I don't agree with it but that's my own taste . Milkshakes and ice-cream here are amazing
