The best restaurants in Slane

30/03/2024: The place was packed - Six Nations rugby match between Scotland and Ireland - but the patrons made space and welcomed us. What a fine, friendly establishment and a good place to enjoy a pint.

20/03/2024: They don't serve food, but happy for us to bring fish and chips in from up the road and enjoy a good pint. Great atmosphere, friendly locals.

05/04/2024: I had one of the best dinners at Inside out! Prepared with a lot of uniqueness and served with creativity. The food definitely makes you become a regular. Love it.

09/03/2024: Honestly I thought I could make a better sandwich but I'm beginning to doubt myself after the my experience here, The bread, ham and cheese was heaven in my mouth followed by a fluffy and soft coffee cake that was cheaper and nicer than a Starbucks. So if you don't come here you should be ashamed of yourself because you are not only failing to support local but also because your letting me down cause my life is better than it was one hour ago and yours could be too.

03/04/2024: Was up in that neck of the woods in newgrange with my son so we decided to stop for lunch well, we ordered two very simple dishes as they had run out of chicken wings, Caesar salad with chicken, toasted and cheese sandwich with a portion of chips - simple I say, but not in the village inn close on an hour past. . on the bowl of salad arrived. My son asked me where was the chicken in the salad ?. I went looking two tiny pieces. I said nothing. We waited so long another 15 minutes and two reminders on his ham and cheese toast arrived oops There was no ham in it and he got six chips a total disgrace shocking service awful presentation again I’m unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend

20/03/2024: I really enjoyed the Guinness, the staff were nice. But, food was awful... burnt and dry..and the horse rasing on the speakers made it difficult to have a chat.

01/04/2024: Myself and my partner were looking for a nice place to eat for breakfast and thought the Conyngham arms hotel would be ideal until we were met by a very rude staff member she was extremely disrespectful, we felt uncomfortable and had to leave before ordering any food, wouldn’t recommend

13/02/2024: Great coffee and excellent selection of cakes to go with it. Plenty of seating available. Staff were friendly and helpful, and gave some good suggestions on local sites to see.
