09/10/2024: Our first impression on arrival without even exiting our vehicle was very positive. It spelled neat and clean. Conscientious owners. My wife and I spent two enjoyable nights there. Our room was very generous in pristine condition. The bedding was luxurious, king size, brand new luxurious carpeting, generous windows. The bathroom was brand new, wonderful ceramics, large shower with beautiful modern fixtures and amazing water pressure. The food menu was extensive. The food was authentic, made from scratch with quality ingredients. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They took an interest in us. Even the owners were ever present. The hotel occupied a very large footprint in the town centre creating a most prestigious impression. An experience worth twice the price. J&G Dettbarn. Toronto Canada

05/07/2024: Very nice cafe and friendly atmosphere. We had a toasted sandwich and Italian panini. Great food and lovely coffee and very reasonably priced. Would call in again if passing through Castleblayney.

05/11/2024: We call into The Cozy when heading for Dublin from Donegal, you simply won't beat it!!. It's home from home but better 😀 home cooked classics & delicious deserts as well as a lovely warm welcome each time from the girls 🫶🤙

12/08/2024: Dropped in for a take away on a recent visit to Carrickmacross, the shop looks lovely and seemed to have an engaging atmosphere so I would loved to have sat in but time did not permit. There was a hiccup with the payment (and I hadn't any cash on me) but the owner and staff were so sound about it, all I can say is that this shop is staffed by genuine human beings! Oh, and the coffee was top notch by the way!

11/11/2024: Braised steak for sunday lunch was very tender and tasty. Lots of potato and veg on the side and chips too. The salmon and turkey were enjoyed by my parents. The view gets a ten star. Atmosphere is good only reduced star as its very loud when people are at the bar.

21/10/2024: Well what can we say about the Sliabh Beagh ,hotel ,we got there Friday evening , was greeted like a queen, had some drinks in the bar bar man was so friendly ,we had a gorgeous meal fish and chips thank you to the chef,delicious,and on Saturday morning unfortunately had to go on ,we god the most amazing breakfast, the lovely lady Jacinta cooked for us she was so friendly ,thanks again to all at the Sliabh Beagh ,regards Mary and Joe
