15/08/2024: Great spot for a quick coffee. The coffee is rich and smooth with the usual brews available. It is takeaway only and uses compostable coffee cups. There are some snacks available and artisan bread is delivered on Fridays. Service is quick so you can grab your coffee and go. Plenty of street parking available.

30/04/2025: Cafe / lunch food, not a bad price and service was fast. Views over the canal. There's a free museum on the ground floor, which although small, was pretty good.

13/04/2025: I loved everything! The service was wonderful. They made me one of the best sandwiches I've had in my adult life on their beautiful sourdough (excuse the mess I made of it in my photo while eating it!). The matcha latte was great and the bakes were all superb. Lots of nice treats to enjoy here- homemade granola, overnight oats, breads, all sorts of bakes, soup, sandwiches, crisps, preserves... So happy to stop here on my journey ☺️ Thank you ❤️

Whether you're meeting up with friends, bringing the kids along, or just taking a moment to recharge, it's the perfect spot. A warm, welcoming atmosphere every time.

25/05/2025: We had such a lovely experience at The Old Coach Inn in Castleblayney. Irish hospitality is renowned, but Raymond and his team really take it to the next level. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so welcome. We got into town a bit earlier than expected and had some time to fill before checking into our accommodation. No problem at all—Raymond invited us to relax and enjoy a leisurely Sunday lunch, and what a lunch it was! Delicious food, a warm and lively atmosphere, and a real sense of community. Families were celebrating their children’s First Communion and it was just lovely to witness—The Old Coach Inn clearly plays a big part in local life. Raymond even went out of his way to help us get to our accommodation, which was such a kind and unexpected gesture. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for an evening meal, which was just as impressive. The menu had something for everyone, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our only regret? Not having time to return for breakfast and complete the trio! If you're in or near Castleblayney, don’t miss this place. A warm welcome, great food, and a real local gem.

03/05/2025: I had the steak sandwich perfectly cooked. My niece had the beef burger and it was excellent. Only bad thing is we were asked if everything was OK. after that, we never saw anyone serving to catch their attention. No offer of deserts or tea and coffee.
