02/09/2025: Seriously overpriced for the quality of what you get out of there. Save yourself a bundle and shop literally anywhere else and for your own sake avoid the deli counter in here at all costs. €5.50 for roll with rock hard hash browns and rashers the woman behind the counter could barely break apart. Why, in any world, she would see/feel the absolute piss poor quality of their food and still have the gall to serve it to me is unexcusable and unacceptable.

22/04/2025: Our friends took us here while visiting them in Carrickmacross and said this is the best place to go and try your first Guinness. 5 pints of Guinness later, and they were not wrong. It's a really cool pub with very welcoming and friendly staff.

30/10/2025: I was attracted by the Irish 🇮🇪 and Palestine 🇵🇸 flag floating together! And mashallah, the place is cozy and the service excellent! Great food and great caffé at a fair price!
07/10/2025: Absolutely love this place since it became Avenue Coffee (was a Rock salt). They somehow made it even better. Lovely staff, lovely coffee! The outside got a great revamp too... Looks even better now!!

19/11/2025: I had the pleasure of seeing this man recently, Tony. I last seen him prior to this meeting 15 years ago. Tony is still the friendly kind caring man he always was. An amazing pizza was had later after this meeting. Thank you Tony and I look forward to seeing you again.
06/07/2025: I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a pizza, but it was extremely overcooked—dry, hard, and definitely not enjoyable to eat. The quality was far below expectations. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it. I won’t be ordering from here again. Hope the team looks into quality control more seriously.

28/09/2025: Gorgeous, cosy little spot - perfect for informal family get-together. Pleasant and efficient service. Tasty pizza and BYOB
HOWEVER: 1) very expensive - €18 for small-medium sized pizza. 2) Every person MUST order a pizza - no other option for people who don't eat pizza 3) BYOB charge is €5.90 PER PERSON - which cost nearly €50 for a party of 8 for corkage fees alone.
Hence, as much as I loved this place, I can't say I'll be going back and I will be recommending with all the above caution.

25/06/2025: Was visiting Monaghan and randomly dropped in here. We had coffee and two fallafle wraps. The wraps were amazing and very flavoursome, whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. Service was also great
