28/05/2025: I have no idea what happened here tonight i am hoping just a once of but i had a pizza and it was swimming in oil, pizza had no texture and the toppings and cheese just feel off it with grease. The base was wet as the grease leaked through and made me feel sick after a few slices.

15/07/2025: Nice place, ordered Chicken madras & chicken Bhuna very well presented and was very tasty, peshwari nann delicious! Complimentary popadums and onion bhajee! Really nice for a Tuesday tea! Will be returning very soon!

24/05/2025: Love Dinkins for a Fry. Bit expensive.
20/04/2025: Only our second time to visit for their midday specials.
As we arrived late in the afternoon, there was very little left to choose from.
I ended up getting the last serving of beef bourguignon with rice or chips or both, while my wife had Chicken and Ham with mixed vegetables. Both came with a hot drink and a choice of a wide range of desserts made on premises.
All for the special price of €33-00, which was well worth paying compared to the average Dublin prices.

26/05/2025: Beautiful cafe to stop at either for a quick (delicious) coffee or the best hot chocolate you could ever have!! Got a treat for the road but I wish we had time to grab a loaf of bread for sandwiches! 10/10

27/06/2025: Good shop nice layout. . Great butchers dept , nothing any trouble for them . Prices on the high side ..but that's all of Musgrave not just here. . Definitely win on service though. Brilliant staff very helpful and knowledgeable, some of the prices have become eye wateringly expensive since my first review.
And shrinkflation is rife too.

11/06/2025: We were part of an event held at Hillgrove Hotel, Monaghan for Barry McGuigan the service by Liz and the team looking after the guests was first class as was the food. we stayed at the hotel which the team enjoyed. Highly recommend this hotel.
10/06/2025: Rooms could be upgraded. However they are very comfortable. The place is a bit dated. Some evidence of damp in the breakfast area.
The location is slightly out of town but it is an easy walk to town.
Service is good.
Some evidence when we were there of oppressive management which can be off-putting.
Staff are friendly.

18/02/2025: I was on a road trip and ordered takeaway for me and my husband and 2 boys via phone for pickup in store. The phone reception was not too great got the same cold treatment when I was instore to pickup my order. I paid 45 euro for 2 kids meal of chips and sausage, adult meal of fish and chips and a classic beef burger with chips. Nothing was tasty although fresh everything was blunt. I was not given a breakdown receipt of what I paid for . I was asked to sit and the food was just put on the table saying here is your order. There was no cutlery, paper towel or ketchup in the bag. They get a zero for everything except the atmosphere of the place.
I would not recommend.

19/01/2025: Beautiful tasty dishes with so much to choose from on the menu, and they will cater for any particular food options if you ask. Friendly welcoming staff and owners. This family run business has been around for 30 years in Monaghan.

08/05/2025: It is a great Subway with a wide variety of delicious fresh ingredients. Service is always good and the place is very clean. It's located in part of a service station with loos and which sells lots of different every day essentials. There's also a hot food counter here.
It's worth downloading the Subway app, which offers lots of great rewards, e.g., foot long for the price of 6 inch or free upgrade to a meal deal etc etc...
