21/07/2025: We had the absolute pleasure of having Blasta at our home to cater for a birthday party of around 90 people — and they were outstanding from start to finish!
The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, delicious, and enjoyed by everyone. Guests are still talking about it! The team provided fantastic service with friendly, efficient staff who made sure everything ran smoothly.
They took all the stress and hassle out of hosting a big event, allowing us to relax and enjoy the party with our guests. We couldn’t have asked for better — highly recommended for any gathering or celebration! Thank you Sean and team!
30/06/2025: We booked Blasta for our wedding reception because we could trust and place full confidence in their food and service quality. Their locally produced food is just phenomenal. Our wedding guests are still talking about the food and asking where they can get their next Blasta fix.

07/03/2025: Fancied a couple pints, but I had my dog with me. They allowed me to enter and go in to the beer garden, which was great because my dog isn't small 🙃. Everyone was great even Tommy loved it.

16/07/2025: I stumbled upon this cozy little coffee shop and it quickly became a favorite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both catching up with friends or getting some work done. The coffee is rich, smooth and it tastes so much different then any other coffee in the other coffee shops. Friendly staff and quick service make the experience even better. Highly recommend if you're in the area!
16/07/2025: The coffee is one of the best coffees I ever tried.The cozy atmosphere with amazing decorations.There's a lovely book corner for quiet reading and even a small kids' area.The cakes are absolutely delightful—fresh, flavorful, and clearly homemade.
A perfect spot for families, solo visits, or catching up with friends. Highly recommended!

The frozen yogurt I tried most of them, my favourite flavours are chocolate and natural. Toppings: fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas with chopped mangos then add mixed seeds with walnuts.
Chicken toast is amazing.
20/02/2025: This is an absolutely delightful little coffee shop. Serving an array of baked goods as well as fancy ice creams full stop it was the copy that I was there for though. And, I am very happy to report that the coffee was absolutely fantastic - really really good

08/07/2025: Probably a good spot after shopping, the terasse is convenient. You don't come for the surroundings. What put me off is the price of the coffee and for that it's going to be the first and last time. 4.10€ for a cappuccino and 4.70€ for a non dairy (yeah I'm lactose intolerant not a fancy dub)
It's the price you'd pay in London. As far as I can see Monaghan is far from being London. Now if it's because of the rent, it's a shame. Anyway too expensive (4.5€ a piece of cake... )

29/05/2025: People describe this pub as the main pub in ballybay. And while yes I can see what people like about it. The beer garden is nice, the gigs are pretty good and the staff are very friendly. I guess my only complaint is it is quite a small pub. And the beer garden seems to be always opened so if it is bad weather it can make the place not as enjoyable. And for how busy the pub can get seating can be difficult to find. But overall a very good pub! I would go there again! (Also thanks to the staff for keeping my hoodie safe when I left it at the place by accident)
