02/03/2024: Popped in for the big breakfast after travelling up from Dublin. Food was freshly cooked, plate was full of very tasty rashers, sausages, egg, beans, hash brown, mushrooms... all served with tea and toast. Staff were very friendly and the place had a great atmosphere of locals catching up. Will visit again when passing by.

15/01/2024: Great experience at GR8 on Sunday for my sons 5th birthday. It's rare you get this level of personal service in today's environment. Staff were helpful, courteous and efficient. Thank you to Ronan and the other members of the team that day who worked hard to ensure we had a positive experience!
Also the pizza was very reasonable and DELICIOUS
30/09/2023: Was there today for bowling for 4 and got an amazing friendly welcome by staff. We were served a delicious pizza before bowling which went down a treat. We enjoyed our 2 games of bowling immensely. We would like to acknowledge Frances in particular as from 1st contact through email to arriving and during our time there she was truly a great host that went over and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. Her service is impeccable, 5*. We will definitely return and recommend to others. Only 1 point I disagree with, no pool tables. Thanks to all staff there today.

05/11/2023: We have travelled from Belfast for a short trip down and decided to give this place a try. Can highly recommend. The food was lovely, and not greasy like some places. We had the set meal for 2. Plenty of food to satisfy and I had ordered a latte, which was great. The staff were very friendly and proffesional. We will definitely return if we are back down this way again.

12/11/2023: Come back to Carrick a lot visiting family and this place is the pick of the cafes in town for breakfast lunch kids food. Never have reason to complain reasonable prices also. Good service tasty and filling food opens on a Sunday also when most places closed.

17/03/2024: very disappointed. the atmosphere wasn’t nice at all , we came this evening looking for a table for 3, waitresses sad no problem, so we were left standing, i thought we are okay to go sit anywhere, so we got at the table and then the men came in and told us we have to move out, that table is reserved for 6oclock. i had no problem with that at all, but the way he talked and acted, was absolutely unacceptable. I just wanted to walk out. Cause i like to eat in places where is the staff and management are pleasant,nice and with smile. :) first time was in here, but wouldn’t never come back again. staff and management need to pay more attentions for customers. 👎👎👎👎

20/01/2024: I was double charged for an item, and I returned to the store within three hours.
I was made to wait fifteen minutes ,while they checked the cctv. I have shopped there for years, but I haven’t set foot in it since then, nor shall I again. They steal from me and I am treated like a thief.
