The best restaurants in Offaly

07/02/2025: Normally get out of here and it's 90% ok, but I've just got a kebab and requested no onions as I'm allergic so I rang back down to explain the mistake they made and how I can't actually eat the food I've paid for now - the response I got was "we'll look after you next time" so I've paid for a kebab meal and all I can eat is the chips but the owners couldn't care less - they got there money so that's what matters right? Not the customers. I also asked them for extra meet which I'm guessing was charged for but if what they gave me had "extra meat" then without me requesting that I surely would have been given a vegetarian option There won't be a next time so you're best off just avoiding the place as I will be from here on in.

23/11/2024: I've been in here three times in the last two weeks and I've had the same experience every time, so it seems fairly consistent enough to warrant a review. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the horrible atmosphere inside the shop. You can feel then tension in the air, the way staff talk to eachother, and just the general work ethic of staff. The staff just seem so uninterested in serving you, and do so as if you're a burden to them. I know things get tense when it's hectic but at the times I've been in, there's only been 2-3 people in the store. All three times I've ordered a different sandwich and they were made incorrectly every time toppings/sauces left off, salads forgotten, etc. I ordered takeaway so this was only discovered once I got back to work. The staff don't even seem to know what they're making, constantly looking back at the menu to see what's supposed to be on the sandwiches (and still managing to make them incorrectly.) There are plenty of other options close by that would be much more welcoming and deserving of the custom. Better management is needed if this store wants to improve.

03/03/2025: Money stolen from my 15 yo daughter at a TY ball. She lost her phone with the money in the case when she approached security who was holding the phone he told her it wasn’t hers. She had to prove to him that it was hers and he then told her to F off. Staff banging on toilet door, no tissue and filthy. Steer well clear of this venue and be very wary because your young adult is not safe at underage discos here.

02/12/2024: I wasn’t going to leave a review until the man who organized our pre debs who is associated with this bar got in touch telling my friend to take her review down. The venue was grubby from the beginning, and the bar was no better. Drinks were in tiny glasses, no more than 300ml and costing around 7-10 euro each. Toilets were kicked in by security giving people who were unwell inside no privacy and people were NOT allowed to leave unless leaving for the night. A friend of mine was kicked out as she got sick, not taken care of whatsoever apart from being held behind the bar until someone arrived. Would not book again, was very disappointed.

20/02/2025: I have order from here a few times. Once I ordered a tandoori grill and paid for it and was told it wasn't meant to be on menu. I then reordered a cheaper meal and did not receive any type of compensation. The second time I had to ring after an hour of waiting. And tonight I ve waited two hours for my food with no form of apology or compensation offered. Terrible service. I ve never seen a place this bad.

02/11/2024: 55 mins for a collection for a party when I was told 20 minutes. This used to be our weekly treat, the food is always good but the staff/ management didn't care that I had a party at home waiting on food. Ordered meals and got no drinks with them. Finished going here as the management don't seem to care about repeat customers.
