28/10/2026: My partner and I ate here today, and the food was delicious! We had the garlic mushrooms, a veggie burger, and a tender box meal, and everything was perfect. The garlic mushrooms came with a garlic dip, which was a really nice touch, as most places charge extra for a dip. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend eating here.

16/10/2026: Simply the best pizza ever! 🍕❤️ My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE their pizzas! We discovered this amazing place when I used to live on O’Connell Square, just a few doors away. From the very first pizza, we became huge fans! The variety, the incredible flavours and the quality of the ingredients are simply outstanding. Even though we live a little further away now, ordering their pizza every Friday has become our favourite tradition. There is no better way to finish a busy working week than enjoying one of their delicious pizzas! What makes this place even more special is the attention to detail. They always take the time to read our order comments and make our pizzas exactly how we love them. That means so much to us! You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. We are completely addicted to their pizzas, and we wouldn't change them for anything! If you haven't tried their pizzas yet, you are seriously missing out! 12/10/2026: I’ve been to The Coffee Hut around 7 times now in the past couple weeks after discovering it, and unfortunately, I’ve had repeated issues with both the availability of items on the menu and the quality of the food. Every time I ask for something, I’m told that the girl serving has to “go check” if it’s available. At this stage, it honestly gives the impression that items are only being made available depending on how convenient it is to prepare them, rather than customers being able to order what’s advertised on the menu. Recently, I visited with three friends. We wanted two Original Açai Bowls and one Coffee Hut Special. Once again, the girl went to check and came back to tell us there were only two Coffee Hut Specials left. I then asked if I could get a toastie instead of the third bowl, only to be told that the oven was already switched off. This was at 2pm, with another hour or two left before closing. If items are advertised on the menu, customers should reasonably expect to be able to order them during opening hours, rather than being turned away because equipment has already been switched off. The açai bowls themselves have also been extremely disappointing on my last few visits. They’ve been rock-solid, full of chunky ice and practically flavourless, which is not what you expect when paying for an açai bowl. I’ve also tried ordering iced coffees and matchas on multiple occasions, only to be told there is “no ice”. In around 7 visits, I’ve only managed to get an iced coffee once. When i’ve asked every time. It’s incredibly frustrating when you repeatedly visit a café and can rarely order what you actually want from the menu. Even when i did manage to get an iced coffee i had to wait to see if it was available and checked. And matcha is never available to the point i don’t even know if the coffee hut has it as an option or not but they always “check” and say no. I understand that stock can run out occasionally, but when the same problems keep happening, alongside poor food quality, it really takes away from the overall experience. It’s disappointing because the menu has lovely options, but there seems to be a consistent issue with availability and preparation, and every time i ask for something i expect, it has to be checked if it’s convenient. I had also gone last minute about 15 minutes before closing one of the days, and it was closed early. My review isn’t focusing on this issue though as it was fairly late to go.

30/07/2026: Went this morning, asked for an acai bowl, was told by the girl that they don't have acai base, then I chose mango for me and my colleague, then suddenly she has the acai base, there was a drizzle of peanut butter and no granola, which she had made me pay full price for the acai bowl but failed to mention the no granola part, I drove back around said to her that she forgot the granola, and said easily back to me 'Oh, sorry we don't have granola' which is just ridiculous

14/10/2026: Filthy tables not one was clean.. every single table had dirty dishes on them… toilets need cleaned.

20/06/2026: The people who work for Flynn's bakery are always so friendly and warm. I've loved their fresh cream buns all of my life. They still use dairy whipped cream, unsweetened as it should be, and are the real deal. Their sausage rolls are delicious, also the same ingredients for as long as I can remember. My family always enjoy their baked goods, generous Irish breakfasts and brown soda bread. Prices have remained reasonable. Whenever I'm home I go there several times a week as I'm grateful for their quality ingredients and tasty options. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile.

27/03/2026: Would not reccomend. Found human hair in black forest cake. Brought to attention of counter staff who gave refund though no follow up from manager despite being asked for my number.

18/10/2026: Great gift shop with lots of ideas for us to choose from. Gifts covering all occasions. King Oak also has a nice display of jewellery and pictures. Outside King Oak also has a great display of Children's houses, slides and outdoor activity equipment for kids. In side King Oak there is also a cafe where you can have something to eat or just a coffee. Staff very helpful and informative.

17/09/2026: Food-wise, the restaurant is perfectly fine. It tastes like every other Supermac's meal. The restaurant itself isn't the most pleasant to eat in. It's surprisingly small for a premises in a county town. They've closed off upstairs, leaving just the smallish ground floor available for customers. Seating is limited and the whole place feels quite cramped.
