The best restaurants in Offaly

13/01/2025: Sadly, this cafe is deteriorating. The floors and tables tend to be sticky, and the worst of all, the coffee is not great. Come on Quigleys, sort it out.

20/11/2024: This is the only time I got bad food out of here and they didn’t try reimburse me for the food they said didn’t food and I couldn’t get the food I wanted I could’ve got food poisoning but they didn’t care

30/04/2025: Lovely bar, bar staff are top class, very friendly atmosphere. My favourite bar in Tullamore.

27/04/2025: Nice little pub but the Guinness was dirt probably do to the heating in the pub was to hot my pint went yellow with in minutes.

11/05/2025: Ordered a margarita pizza and curry chips. Hands down the worst pizza I have ever had. Every single slice of pizza just disintegrated, leaving me with globs of cheese and overly saucy dough. On top that it tasted of nothing, just absolutely bland. The curry chips were also awful. Watery curry that only slightly tasted of curry somehow? On top of soggy (despite literally being bagged as I walked in to collect) chips. All of this and it cost me €17.20 which I am genuinely disgusted at. If it was even remotely tasty you could justify the price, but since it’s easily the worst pizza and chips in Tullamore, the price is absolutely disgraceful. Waste of money that I should have spent elsewhere, and a reminder why the last time I had Papa Johns was to try it when it first came to Tullamore, and I haven’t had it since. Since I can’t rate 0 it’s an undeserved 1 star.

05/05/2025: Lovely store with friendly staff there. Has tea and cake there was really nice but i did ask for another teabag to one of girls but maybe she has forgotten beca it was really busy there but overall experience was really good 👍👍definitely will go again and have some tea or coffee. Sitting area was good. A bit improvement in the service is needed otherwise had a lovely time there👍

22/04/2025: Lovely little cafe with excellent eggs and toast. Perfect for a simple breakfast while exploring Tullamore. Pay at the counter when you walk in, settle in to a small table and enjoy.

27/04/2025: I had a lovely dinner here, food was delicious, big portions, decent price, nice ambiance, super nice staff. Very much recommended, must try in Mullingar.❤️❤️❤️

27/04/2025: Forgot garlic dip, no salt and vinegar even though we had asked but the worst of all hair found in food! Have tried to reach out through email but it keeps bouncing back.

23/01/2025: Toni's chipper in Birr always had the highest quality of food but has seriously deteriorated of late ..and has become expensive.... had a lovely meal in a local hotel last week for a little cost more than the chipper... And was top class..staff in this chipper were not so friendly ... Service was fast and premises was very clean....but food and prices are off my list for now. Bring George back.

07/05/2025: Got munchy box was lovely and tasted beautiful. Got spare ribs they tasted like they had been reheated 5 or 6 times... overall an okay experience.Will not go again.

07/03/2025: Really delicious Chinese food. Everyone in our large group was happy with their meal, restaurant was really clean, service was excellent, especially our waitress Imogen. Thank you for a lovely experience!

02/03/2025: I absolutely love their pizzas! Their taste is uniquely delicious. Being a vegetarian, I encounter similar taste in all vegetarian pizzas elsewhere and I don't find their taste good. But at Apache, I've never got bored of the taste of their pizzas ever!

15/09/2024: A hidden treasure off Church Road. A good range of desserts, tea and coffee. Nice choice to mull over, and a nice breakfast menu. Handy for parking.

09/02/2025: This place has dirty tables and very rude staff. They got two orders wrong and served two cold burgers.i told staff they gave me the order.i asked fir a bacon chicken filled burger, they gave me a stone cold chicken royal r whatever.i gave it back an 3 staff stood around the same burger and out bacon into it.i threw it in the bin and regret not asking for my money back.tge worst thing I have ever seen in a takeaway in my lfe

12/12/2024: The staff left us waitin at the the till for at least 5 mins only to tell us take away only that the forecourt closes at 7 extremely rude and proceeded to shut both myself and my friend down when we asked why they left us waiting that long

07/02/2025: Came in for a quick coffee & scone (both were lovely) and the girl at the counter, Joy I think her name was, was so friendly & polite
