The Eden Deli Café

10/09/2025: Went here on a recommendation and I couldn't have been more disappointed. Overpriced and under-baked cakes. €3.90 for carrot cake which was stodgy, heavy and very clearly under-baked. Photos below. The bakewell was the a little dry and lacking in flavour. Haven't tried the apple tart but im desperately hoping it will be delicious to justify paying almost €20 for as the rest went into the bin.
17/08/2025: My favourite cafe in the area. Staff are all really lovely and attentive. The sandwiches and salads are yummy and fresh, the coffee and cakes are great. Everything is very good value and always a relaxed atmosphere too. A small bench out the back to catch some lunch in the sun for summer days too, sometimes a furry friend even comes to say hello!

28/10/2025: Shane Lowrys place. Nice location and food is good. A bit pricey for what you get. Its nicely decorated. Staff is a bit lackzeedaisy could do with Shane showing up in disguise and throw a few fs at them.
27/10/2025: A great place for lunch or dinner, before or after a Tullamore Distillery tour.

The Bakery at Acorn & Oak

15/08/2025: We had no booking but they were still happy to accommodate a party of 7. The food was delicious and the serve was quick and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit again soon.
04/08/2025: Solid take-away thin crust pizza after a day at the beach. The dough is more crunchy than chewy. The vegetable pizza has a good amount of toppings, and the cheese is evenly spread. All the ingredients are fresh except for maybe the jarred jalapenos which add a nice heat to the pizza.

08/08/2025: Would be helpful if the staff member answering the phone could at least speak basic English. Spent 5 minutes explaining a simple order only to have it read back to me completely wrong. Ended up just hanging up out off frustration. Might not be a bad thing as the food is average at best out off here

Digan’s is one of the best spots in Tullamore – great drinks, good prices, and a lovely outdoor seating area to enjoy it all. Perfect place to chill with friends and enjoy a proper pint without breaking the bank. Always a good time here!
