28/10/2024: I have been going to the Court Hotel most of my life & saw many changes that were all nice but the last changes I didn't like, the bar only opens for lunch, it used to open in the mornings for coffee, scones etc now there is a coffee dock where you could have to wait a long time to get served if it's busy because it's so small, there is no table service for the elderly, shame.
The staff are young & lovely & last time I was there for lunch a most helpful lady called Ciara served us & came back a few times to see if we were ok, I will go back again but only if Ciara is serving.
01/10/2024: Staff at the Leisure Centre friendly, brilliant gym classes and family members enjoy the pool area.

Ballycommon House Bar & Self Catering Apts
04/09/2024: stopped for coffee and breakfast after a nice run along the banks of the adjacent entrance canal. the bake house is located in an idyllic setting, close to the banks of the canal. We ordered some coffee and some granola pots for breakfast. The food was tasty and filling service was excellent and the coffee was also very good. This is a perfect spot for a stop off for some cake coffee or breakfast.

25/10/2024: How does this place keep winning awards? Amazes me, as whenever I've had any food from here it's been mediocre overpriced rubbish. The search goes on for a decent Indian restaurant in the Midlands. I doubt we'll ever find it.

27/08/2024: Be sure to stop here and eat a pizza. Tastiest pizza in a long time. Not typical Italian pizza, but "Irish style". The Chicago Hot 'n' Spicy tasted damn good.
Very nice service and fair prices. We ordered the 12" pizza, which is roughly equivalent to our "large" pizza in Germany (30cm).

04/10/2024: We’ve just returned after two really enjoyable days at Townsend House in Birr. The warmth, hospitality and comfort at Townsend House was truly five star. The breakfasts were brilliant and the tapas last night were gorgeous and served brilliantly. Well done to Martin and Lorraine and their staff.

I have ovevded now for the past four weekends . Everytime something is now missing from the order. Every time i ring to tell them the comminucate was very irrupt and rude. Being a business owner myself I understand we the importance of could community service skill.
I hope for the future you revisit customer service skill. It makes your business go a lot further and clients respect you a return
