15/05/2026: Tried tracking my phone number was a bit of a creep on the call

02/05/2026: We thought we ordered gluten free pizza online, but somehow the order did not appear with the outlet. The staff was very very helpful an replaced the gluten free pizza. We were impressed about this and give a five-star Service to the staff.

01/08/2026: We were looking forward to dinner at Siroccos having booked a table downstairs in the main restaurant for 6:00 PM. Instead, we arrived to find our table had been given to someone else, and we were placed upstairs. The waiter was unaccommodating when we mentioned our booking with Paula the owner, offering no real explanation. While the main restaurant looked better, the upstairs area is dark, dingy, and features failing floor boards that need urgent renovation. We won't be back . Food is good but they need to up there game in decor....

21/07/2026: July 2026 Poor service, great food. Three of us were passing through Tullamore on 20th July, having driven for much of the day and with two hours of driving to go. We dropped in. Two tables for two were put together for us next to the counter. Apparently it wasn't possible to put two tables for two together in a quieter part of the restaurant because those tables were needed for couples. A few minutes later I noticed a table for four being cleared by the window (a much quieter spot) and asked if we could move. I was told it was needed in 30 minutes for a booking. 20 minutes later two people were seated at that table. When I asked for the bill I was told it would be brought to the table. It wasn't. When I went to the counter to pay I wasn't given a bill but just told the cost. Neither was I given a receipt. I could have asked for both but that shouldn't be necessary. I'm still wondering why I left a tip. It must've been tiredness from all that driving. I hope the kitchen staff got it. Read less

18/06/2026: was in Birr for nieces wedding what a lovely pub lovely people from locals to every member of staff and the owners were first class thank you very much

15/06/2026: The food is amazing first time i a good bit i ate something in birr that isnt just a load of meat that is very salty to mask taste the people were very nice and place had a very nice vibe i liked all the decorations too

07/05/2026: Found this little gem whilst attending a wedding in Birr. So glad I did. As someone who likes Indian food, this unassuming little restaurant in Birr provides some of the best Indian food I've ever had, at sensible prices too! Don't miss it! Book if you can - we just walked in and were lucky enough to find a table. Enjoy!

30/07/2026: After both having a pretty awful day, we decided to call into this restaurant on a Thursday evening with our two kids (one toddler and one baby) From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely perfect. The staff were welcoming and accommodating with the kids, which made the whole experience stress-free. The food was exceptional. I had the Chicken Arrabbiata, and as someone who orders it whenever I visit an Italian restaurant, I can honestly say it was the nicest I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We walked in feeling exhausted and fed up, and we left happy, full, and smiling. Sometimes a great meal and fantastic service can completely turn your day around, and that's exactly what happened here. Thank you – we'll definitely be back!

23/08/2026: Such a good evening we had there. Came with me husband and me friend Wiggy. Had pints of Guiness and Bailey's coffee. Everything was great : nice place, nice people, great drinks. Now speaking about drinks, let's speak about Brian. Brian is the best. Is Brian nice ? No. Does Brian has to be nice to serve the best Bailey's coffee and Guiness in town ? Nope. Well that's what he does. Brian is a lot of fun if he wants to be and Brian is nice I’m just kidding. Am I tho? I guess you will have to go to know. And you definitely should go. 30/06/2026: Good pub friendly crowd Good drink etc..

29/08/2026: 3rd visit today and brought 2 of my friends from Dublin. My o.g booking was for 2pm but as my pals were running late, I decided to call and see if we could be seated at 3pm instead. Aine was very helpful on the phone and very kindly accommodated us no issues. We sat in a lovely booth and all our food was very tasty. I had the buttermilk chicken, and it was absolutely gorgeous. My pals had the curry and burger and both thoroughly enjoyed joyed our food. Staff really attentive and polite.

24/08/2026: Second visit on Saturday 22nd of August. 4 persons in the party. We went back as we all very impressed last year with the quality of food and service which was top notch. But on second visit we were all disappointed. Steaks half cold,seafood pasta poor.Sent the steaks back to get "fresh" stakes literally after 5 minutes! And yes they were half cold again!!And the wrong way around..Total bill €237 .. It's a pity the quality of service and food has gone down the hill. Overpriced food thats not done right.

28/04/2026: Always a good spot to pop in for a pint or a sandwitch & a coffee. Very friendly spot & the drinks are of a high standard. Highly recommend.

07/06/2026: Inedible chicken fillet burger. Disappointing to see a chipper serve such poor quality chicken. Decent chips.

11/05/2026: I'm not a big fan of fast food, but recently needs must and I bought some food in Angelo's as they were recommended and it was an excellent recommendation, the chicken fillet burger meal was delicious, freshly cooked, yes you had to wait because they were busy but it was worth it. Delicious food and very reasonably priced.
