20/08/2026: To celebrate my mother’s birthday, my whole family and I dined at this Japanese restaurant. The sushi here is incredibly soft and delicious, made with generous fillings and outstanding flavours. Their signature ramen boasts rich, savoury broth, and the portion of noodles and toppings is extremely large, leaving us fully satisfied after the meal. The staff are polite, warm and attentive throughout our visit. All ingredients are freshly prepared daily, making every bite safe and delightful. Considering its great food, thoughtful service and good value for money, this Japanese eatery has become my absolute favourite restaurant of all time.
13/08/2026: Staff were excellent and professional, and extremely welcoming to boot. One of the most extensive Sushi menus in the midlands, and it's not half bad. My only complaint is that, while tasty, the Takoyaki is a very very small size and is probably made from frozen. However, that aside, I can recommend this place very highly to sushi enjoyers.

30/07/2026: After both having a pretty awful day, we decided to call into this restaurant on a Thursday evening with our two kids (one toddler and one baby)
From the moment we walked in, the service was absolutely perfect. The staff were welcoming and accommodating with the kids, which made the whole experience stress-free.
The food was exceptional. I had the Chicken Arrabbiata, and as someone who orders it whenever I visit an Italian restaurant, I can honestly say it was the nicest I've ever had. It was cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
We walked in feeling exhausted and fed up, and we left happy, full, and smiling. Sometimes a great meal and fantastic service can completely turn your day around, and that's exactly what happened here.
Thank you – we'll definitely be back!

13/06/2026: We went for dinner. The staff were excellent. Food was good. Access for people with mobility issues could be a challenging. How ever there may be other dinning areas that might be accessible.
12/06/2026: We recently stayed a night in the O'Connell room at Kinnitty, and it was GORGEOUS. My husband and I agreed that it was the nicest hotel room that either of us have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The dungeon bar was cozy for a few pints before dinner, the grounds were lovely to walk around, and dinner in the dungeon bar was also great. The only downside was there was a wedding going on just outside of our room, but I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue. We also were served a good breakfast the next morning before departing. We were even lucky enough to have Conor, the hotel manager, sit with us for a bit in the evening and tell us stories about the hotel. 10/10, would stay again.

23/08/2026: Such a good evening we had there. Came with me husband and me friend Wiggy. Had pints of Guiness and Bailey's coffee. Everything was great : nice place, nice people, great drinks. Now speaking about drinks, let's speak about Brian. Brian is the best. Is Brian nice ? No. Does Brian has to be nice to serve the best Bailey's coffee and Guiness in town ? Nope. Well that's what he does.
Brian is a lot of fun if he wants to be and Brian is nice I’m just kidding. Am I tho? I guess you will have to go to know. And you definitely should go.
Thank you loads and loads Brian, you are great. And may you always say "pòg mo thòin" to anyone who deserves it.

29/08/2026: 3rd visit today and brought 2 of my friends from Dublin. My o.g booking was for 2pm but as my pals were running late, I decided to call and see if we could be seated at 3pm instead. Aine was very helpful on the phone and very kindly accommodated us no issues. We sat in a lovely booth and all our food was very tasty. I had the buttermilk chicken, and it was absolutely gorgeous. My pals had the curry and burger and both thoroughly enjoyed joyed our food. Staff really attentive and polite.
24/08/2026: Second visit on Saturday 22nd of August.
4 persons in the party.
We went back as we all very impressed last year with the quality of food and service which was top notch.
But on second visit we were all disappointed.
Steaks half cold,seafood pasta poor.Sent the steaks back to get "fresh" stakes literally after 5 minutes!
And yes they were half cold again!!And the wrong way around..Total bill €237 ..
It's a pity the quality of service and food has gone down the hill.
Overpriced food thats not done right.

11/05/2026: I'm not a big fan of fast food, but recently needs must and I bought some food in Angelo's as they were recommended and it was an excellent recommendation, the chicken fillet burger meal was delicious, freshly cooked, yes you had to wait because they were busy but it was worth it. Delicious food and very reasonably priced.

20/08/2026: Service was ok.
Food quite poor. Nice enough chips. Had steak sandwich, steak was overcooked, very very thin, so I guess nearly impossible to cook it medium rare. Had to ask for pepper sauce as it didn't come with it.
Definitely the stingiest steak in a steak sandwich I have ever had.
Person serving us was apologetic about the steak being well done rather than medium rare. Due to the time constraints, I didn't send the sandwich back and eat and paid for it.
Mushroom vol-au-vent was tasty, but contained very little chicken. The pub must be in the serious cost cutting stage as prices are on par with everywhere else but very little protein for your money here.
Card machine didn't work (signs displayed so assume that machine doesn't work permanently). We had to pay for food and drinks separately even though everything was ordered and served together.
All in all, would not go back and regretted eating here.
Do not recommend for more than chips and a drink.
14/08/2026: Lovely staff bus service a bit chaotic on Sunday. Food very good. Pity a glass of Chardonnay was so bad - undrinkable actually!
