04/12/2025: Four of us were travelling back from Galway to Dublin on 19.25 train, starving. We called The New Village in Tullamore and they took our order and met us on the platform so they literally delivered our food to the train. Very tasty, great portions and obviously amazing service. Thank you!

16/11/2025: I’m genuinely shocked at the condition of this gym. The level of neglect is unacceptable and raises serious health and safety concerns. First, there is visible mold growing inside the air vents. Not just a little dust—actual dark, built-up mold lining the grates. This is what everyone in the gym is breathing in. It’s unsanitary, unsafe, and shows a complete lack of basic facility maintenance. Second, almost every piece of equipment with padding is ripped wide open, exposing the foam underneath. Some seats are so shredded that the material is literally gone in large patches. It’s uncomfortable, unhygienic, and frankly embarrassing for a gym to allow equipment to deteriorate to this state. On top of that, there are massive leaks coming from both the roof and the floor. Water collects in multiple areas, creating slipping hazards and adding to the overall feeling of decay. It’s clear these leaks have been happening for a long time, and nothing has been done to fix them. Overall, this place feels abandoned by management. For the price members pay, the very minimum expectation is a clean, safe environment—something this gym fails to provide on multiple levels. I cannot recommend this gym to anyone until they address these issues with proper cleaning, repairs, and regular maintenance.

15/11/2025: Recently stayed here for work for 1 night. Did not have time to use any of the services or eat in the restaurant unfortunately. The room was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was incredible. The room was very warm, there was no thermostat in the room and the window would not stay open. I had to shove two towels under the window to keep it open to allow air in. This is the only fault. Everything was clean, water bottles and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The usual wear and tear of a hotel room. The staff were super helpful and friendly! Location is very central, free parking for hotel guests as well.

12/09/2025: Nice pub, nice staff. Quick service for getting a takeaway pizza on a rainy Friday night. Unfortunately pizza was a bit undercooked which I didn't notice until I was back at the hotel. Still ate most of it.

16/11/2025: I ordered one curry batter from carmines and was told it would be 20 mins I waited 1 hour and 10mins and rang and the ignorance I got over the phone was ridiculous he’s no intrest in if my order was taken let alone cooked, honeslty don’t think there’s any respect for customers any where you go now, it was one curry batter and a bottle of coke, 1 hour and 20 mins then I had to ring to cancel my order

29/08/2025: Hello! We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel: everything was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We especially appreciated the comfortable mattress — it was a great sleep. We were very satisfied with the check-in: there is parking, and the owner kindly met us even at midnight, although the reception closes at 10. He waited for us, and everything went perfectly. In the morning, there was a wonderful breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. We were completely satisfied and gladly recommend this hotel to others!

28/10/2025: Really good option for food in Edenderry. Huge portions, I always take some home with me and really well priced too. Excellent spot for lunch/brunch and a good coffee

02/09/2025: Absolutely excellent place to have a bit to eat food is excellent and try the club sandwich is my favourite u be full after it latties Cappuccino are so creamy and nice be definitely be back again. The lady that runs it so nice and friendly
