22/07/2025: The breakfast and service at this place was delicious. The granola and yogurt with berries was so fresh and tasty and the vanilla latte was smooth. Our waitress was kind and very accommodating and the rest of the staff was friendly as well. Great place to wake up.

14/09/2025: Sushi is amazing so that's great. Great menu choice and excellent portions, so great value for money. We dined in and unfortunately the experience wasn't great the ramen was tasteless, service very slow and staff had no interest in communicating with customers. Drinks menus not great, we were served an overlypriced Londis bottle of white wine in champagne glasses for our meal! Overall I'd highly recommend it for a sushi takeaway experience but not for a night out!

28/06/2025: Perfect spot to break a long journey. Lovely food / treats and a beautiful small shop to browse and toilet. We had coffees/teas and treats on way to and from centerparcs.

05/10/2025: A really nice spot for breakfast and the choice is massive. I went for a cheese, bacon, mushroom and onion omlet and it did not disappoint. It was so cheesey which made me very happy! Coffee is delicious too. Would recommend!!

13/07/2025: Nice staff, great food, nice place. Catered pleasantly for my son's peanut allergy. Meatballs were divine. My gluten free pasta was a little overcooked, and so was mushy, but unfortunately, that's a frequent occurrence everywhere. Overall, it was a great meal and I'll be back

06/05/2025: Had a lovely morning at the Bakehouse. Great outdoor seating area where we were served a delicious breakfast by friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes and cycling along the canal. Will be back! Claire (Sea Dew B&B)

The café itself is cosy and inviting, and the outdoor area is simply perfect for sunny days, peaceful, spacious, and the ideal spot to sit back and relax. One of the things I love most is how dog-friendly it is. After a lovely walk along the nearby canal, it’s wonderful to be able to stop in with your four-legged friend and enjoy a coffee or a delicious meal without any hassle. The food is consistently fantastic, fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re popping in for a quick treat or settling in for a relaxed lunch, Ballycommon Bakehouse never disappoints. The staff are genuinely lovely too — always welcoming, attentive, and helpful, which adds to the whole experience. I would absolutely recommend Ballycommon Bakehouse to anyone looking for a great café/restaurant with a relaxed, friendly vibe. It’s a little treasure and well worth a visit!

20/05/2025: One of the best Chinese’s around. Went for the first time last night and the staff were so genuine and polite. Not to mention the food was absolutely fantastic, very reasonably priced and generous portions! Definitely will be back
