27/05/2026: Great iced pistachio lattes, staff are lovely and I didn’t have to wait long

20/04/2026: Stopped by for a coffee, mocha and a double espresso, plus two toasties. Everything was really good and the staff were very friendly. It got quite busy while we were there, but the atmosphere stayed relaxed. We enjoyed sitting outside in the sun at the tables in front of the shop — a lovely spot for a break.

10/06/2026: The gardens are very beautiful, but €14 for the gardens alone, without castle admission, is too much. Castle admission is €22, and the guide is exclusively in English. A self-guided castle entry option would be more appropriate.

16/03/2026: food was lovely, on a busy Saturday wait wasn't long at all and staff was nothing but kind and friendly especially the manager Antonio

15/03/2026: Table of 12. First big problem was when we had to take our phone lights out to read the menu , the lighting was so low, other tables doing it also. Took 45mins for starters to come, 1 jug water for 12. Starters finished, it took another 25mins for mains to come out leaving people who didn't get starters very hangry. When mains came, the sides were brought out before some mains. Took about 15mins from the 1st main presented to the last main. 3 out of 4 said pizza had no taste , disappointing as they have a proper pizza wood fired oven. 3/4 of us didn't bother with dessert as it was over 2 hours in at that stage and could not have patience to wait any longer. Overly priced bland food with cave like lighting and too much waiting. Won't be back .

07/05/2026: All staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The bed in the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was great although I would have liked a better selection of the cooked meats and cheeses. I didn’t find the chairs in the lobby or library bar comfortable so we only had drinks in the bar once. We really enjoyed our stay here and already planning a return visit.

27/06/2026: The best cafe in the area, tasty food, good atmosphere and all that with the best prices. The only problem is they don't have any space so try not to come at peak times.

25/01/2026: Ballycommon bake house is a beautiful coffee shop in a lovely location, staff are efficient & very friendly, today I had the ham & Brie which was amazing so tasty & I will definitely be back again for the same, I would highly recommend this spot

04/12/2025: Four of us were travelling back from Galway to Dublin on 19.25 train, starving. We called The New Village in Tullamore and they took our order and met us on the platform so they literally delivered our food to the train. Very tasty, great portions and obviously amazing service. Thank you!

03/05/2026: A great place to get a quick bite to eat. The pub serves lovely reasonably priced food and the deli in the shop is great to get a quick roll or wrap on the go.

14/01/2026: We went to Cosmic Bowl to celebrate a child's birthday, we had a lovely time there and enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful. A few small things that took away from the experience, no website so we couldn't book online or find information about the venue. A number of video games were unserviceable and couldn't be played. The rails on the bowling lanes were all unserviceable, they were either up all the time or down all the time, staff did mention they were broken. Aside from those things, we did have a good time there.

02/05/2026: We thought we ordered gluten free pizza online, but somehow the order did not appear with the outlet. The staff was very very helpful an replaced the gluten free pizza. We were impressed about this and give a five-star Service to the staff.

28/12/2025: Visited for a couple of drinks. Bar staff very friendly and helpful. Front areas clean and tidy. Back areas bit rundown. Toilets need to be attended more often. Not good!

20/11/2025: Lovely place but breakfast wasn’t good at all a dirty looking fried egg bacon was rock hard beans very little it wasn’t good and I normally love coming here

13/06/2026: We went for dinner. The staff were excellent. Food was good. Access for people with mobility issues could be a challenging. How ever there may be other dinning areas that might be accessible.

12/06/2026: We recently stayed a night in the O'Connell room at Kinnitty, and it was GORGEOUS. My husband and I agreed that it was the nicest hotel room that either of us have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The dungeon bar was cozy for a few pints before dinner, the grounds were lovely to walk around, and dinner in the dungeon bar was also great. The only downside was there was a wedding going on just outside of our room, but I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue. We also were served a good breakfast the next morning before departing. We were even lucky enough to have Conor, the hotel manager, sit with us for a bit in the evening and tell us stories about the hotel. 10/10, would stay again.
