27/10/2024: Went in at 6.10pm to be told they were no longer serving food. It's really annoying to have the wrong information on your website re opening/serving hours. Hugely disappointing and frustrating hence the poor review.

Place was packed and since it was raining outside could not be used (welcome to Ireland).
Small wait for a table but worth it.
Food was very good.
Waitresses very friendly.
Service was great.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
Will definitely be stopping back.
09/10/2024: “Good things come in small packages” is true for this lively garden centre. Plants and flowers look quite healthy, not two items are the same, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Pity I didn’t see their hens, but I came across a beautiful cat, who kept a watchful eye on my dog :) I didn’t try the cafe on this occasion, but noticed that it’s popular. I will be back when I’m in the area again.

09/10/2024: Good quality breakfast and great coffee. Nice gift shop too. Would have sat outside in loft area had we known it was there but we were steered into the front part and only realised how large and sprawling it was after finishing our meal.

Wonderful park. We bought a season ticket and visited all summer. Every time the park and gardens delighted us with something new. You can see the house once. Educational, but a bit expensive. Meeting the owners made the visit to the house more enjoyable. Good tour guides. We were impressed by the girl from Italy. She put her soul into her work and really wanted to help us learn all the interesting things.
Highly recommend visiting.
There are already plenty of photos online. The main thing is the experience.

02/10/2024: Recently moved to Birr and have found this to be the best pizza by far. I was in to pick up our pizzas for what was maybe our 4th order in two months. I dropped one while walking out and they replaced it without charge right away. Unquestionably excellent service on top of epic pizzas. Unreservedly recommended.
29/08/2024: We were told so many good things about their pizza we absolutely had to check it out! We had some questions, which were all answered, and that was a big help because we weren’t sure what to order. So we got a surprise pizza and it was amazing! The dough was just perfect, and it took less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!

10/10/2024: This is such a beautiful spot. We walked down from the square and glad we passed the other few cafes on the way down. It was busy which is always a good sign. We ordered some breakfast paninis, Tea and a Latte. Portions were enough to satisfy and the taste was divine. Lovely atmosphere with more to the cafe then the front room. Great value for the quality of the food and service. If you're in Birr pop in you won't be disappointed.
Had to buy some cake and Gluten free buns before we left. Couldn't resist...
05/10/2024: Had really tasty latte and pastries there on friday. Service was very nice from 2 girls but not very nice and welcoming from one girl at the till who took our order- she seemed annoyed when I asked questions about food and drinks for kids, I probably didn't order food fast enough and asked too many questions- that is impression I got.

04/10/2024: We’ve just returned after two really enjoyable days at Townsend House in Birr. The warmth, hospitality and comfort at Townsend House was truly five star. The breakfasts were brilliant and the tapas last night were gorgeous and served brilliantly. Well done to Martin and Lorraine and their staff.
25/08/2024: Fabulous night out. Great atmosphere. Amazing food. Delicious cocktails along with great, friendly staff. What more could you want!!

22/11/2024: Another beautiful meal at Sanjay's! Starters of seekh kebab and lamb chilli garlic were absolutely delicious. The lamb shank and chicken jalfrezi were flavourful and also faultless. Always a 10 out of 10

I have ovevded now for the past four weekends . Everytime something is now missing from the order. Every time i ring to tell them the comminucate was very irrupt and rude. Being a business owner myself I understand we the importance of could community service skill.
I hope for the future you revisit customer service skill. It makes your business go a lot further and clients respect you a return

09/10/2024: Lime tree. I don't know how you can eat this crap? They don't even know what sauce means, instead of sauce they pour some water which then leaks out of the kebab. The sauce has to be thick, not like water... It's not tasty and I always get a diarrhea after it. I will never eat this crap again

18/09/2024: Im am personally very dissapointed i went with my 2 kids cillian and luke. Lukes chips were old and he was crying cillian had hairs in his ice cream and i ordered a pizza and got no pepporoni or no tomato sauce.
