11/05/2025: Nice atmosphere and friendly staff, unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. The roast beef was luke-warm at best with very little gravy. I had to ask for more. The garlic potatoes were a complete mess on the plate. Guinness score; 7/10. Lovely little restaurant but the food needs some work to get back to old standards. Again, nice staff + good service, can't fault them.

07/05/2025: Was impressed with the quick service during the lunch hours. Got back to work in half an hour after tasty salad and coffee in beautiful atmosphere on the roof. Thanks to all the team!

03/05/2025: Meet friends here for lunch once every 3 months and we love it.
01/04/2025: Had lunch with a party of 6.
Place was packed and since it was raining - outside could not be used (welcome to Ireland).
Small wait for a table but worth it.
Food was very good.
Waitresses very friendly.
Service was great.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
Will definitely be stopping back.

13/05/2025: Beautiful castle and gardens. Nice cafe at the entrance / exit. Reserve at least 2 hours for a quick visit and more to enjoy it properly.
For kids there is a nice playground with a large treehouse.

02/10/2024: Recently moved to Birr and have found this to be the best pizza by far. I was in to pick up our pizzas for what was maybe our 4th order in two months. I dropped one while walking out and they replaced it without charge right away. Unquestionably excellent service on top of epic pizzas. Unreservedly recommended.
29/08/2024: We were told so many good things about their pizza we absolutely had to check it out! We had some questions, which were all answered, and that was a big help because we weren’t sure what to order. So we got a surprise pizza and it was amazing! The dough was just perfect, and it took less than 10 minutes. Definitely recommend!

23/04/2025: Visited Kelly's 21st April for food and wasn't disappointed enjoyed what we ordered good service nice staff decided to go back that evening there was music nice atmosphere enjoyed the night and will visit again soon Eddie and Fran from Dublin

03/01/2025: Unfortunately there were no breakfast options left as they'd had a busy morning. Usually they have an all day breakfast menu which is handy for a Sunday. I was disappointed, but staff were v apologetic
04/12/2024: Fabulous dog friendly accommodation with super breakfast. Staff were excellent and the location is perfect for Birr castle and gardens. Highly recommended 👍

05/04/2025: Food is decent, but recently in the last few weeks waiting times are very inconvenient, tonight has topped this though. don’t tell customers 15 minutes and have them waiting for 30+ minutes after making a call. Young girl behind the counter clearly distressed and when I asked to speak to management which I seen a few minutes prior, she went into the back and they wouldn’t come out and speak to me. Offered me to leave a phone number but that said enough. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere

04/04/2025: Fantastic food. Well cooked, well presented and well tasty. I am a big fan of Indian food and have sampled it all over the UK and Ireland, and beyond. Sanjay is up there with the best. A bit pricey but absolutely worth it for the quality on offer.
28/03/2025: No issues with the food but for two small vodkas at €11 each and a standard bottle of Cobra €7, I have to say is a total Rip off.

09/10/2024: Lime tree. I don't know how you can eat this crap? They don't even know what sauce means, instead of sauce they pour some water which then leaks out of the kebab. The sauce has to be thick, not like water... It's not tasty and it always makes me feel sick and I will never eat this crap again

27/04/2025: Forgot garlic dip, no salt and vinegar even though we had asked but the worst of all hair found in food!
Have tried to reach out through email but it keeps bouncing back.
23/01/2025: Toni's chipper in Birr always had the highest quality of food but has seriously deteriorated of late ..and has become expensive.... had a lovely meal in a local hotel last week for a little cost more than the chipper... And was top class..staff in this chipper were not so friendly ... Service was fast and premises was very clean....but food and prices are off my list for now. Bring George back.
