18/10/2026: Very poor service here for a birthday dinner with a group of friends. The waiter kept getting things wrong in the order but instead of apologising he made out we had ordered different things. Brought a regular beer instead of alcoholic beer, the wrong steak, the wrong sauce with another steak, each time arguing that we had ordered what he had brought to the table and suggesting we had changed our minds on what we ordered. My friends steak was cooked rare instead of medium and in the end she didn't say it as his attitude was so poor. Disappointing.
18/10/2026: Sat upstairs, great service and good food. Shoutout to Chris and Eileen for the bit of craic and good service. Give Eileen the promotion she deserves!

15/10/2026: Food was great and the service was too. Bit of confusion regarding our cheeseboard - ordered it for the table to share but we should have specified that we only wanted a serving for one person. The difference being €19 versus €57. Lesson learned for the future as we will be back.

20/06/2026: Staff exceptional, Alan and Connor (bar), John and Johannes (Guest Services), every person we encountered were friendly and made our stay our favorite place to come back. Hotel was great, breakfast very good, rooms were comfortable and spacious.

06/09/2026: Spent a lovely afternoon trying various wines and chatting with the bartenders, especially Chuck. He was very helpful with some suggestions about other areas to visit in Ireland. Had a delightful time and some great wines.
26/08/2026: Had a lovely evening here: reasonably priced wine, nice food. Less dinner/tapas and more picky bits/snacks but staff were very friendly and helpful.

18/10/2026: We went for Sunday lunch today, the waitress hadn’t a clue what was going on. She couldn’t answer any of my questions about the specials. To be fair the food was quick but we still hadn’t gotten drinks by the time it came (20 minutes) and we were also waiting ages to order. We had the lamb it wasn’t roasting when it came out was it was warm and I taught it was quite dry to be honest, I asked for extra gravy and the waitress forgot about it so I had to remind her when it eventually came my food had gone cold. The portion was quite big but there wasn’t much meat. It also was only a small ramekin of gravy which I thought fair enough until they charged me €1.50 for it ! Management definitely need to invest in training staff and taking more on as it was obvious they were under pressure today.

24/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with delicious food.
From start to finish a very enjoyable experience.
The dessert was so nice I had to taste it before I took photo.
I didn't get the girls name that waited on our table but she was a pleasure.
19/08/2026: The food was absolutely amazing. The best food ive had out in a long time. Expensive but well worth it.
