08/06/2025: Had the classic. Great home made sausage with just the right spices. Roll held together till the end. Onions and peppers were tender and fresh.

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

16/08/2025: I have been here every year for the last 3 yrs while attending an event nearby. I have always found staff & patrons to be lovely and friendly. Good if small menu after 6pm. Always enjoyed the pizzas. This year however, my experience was less pleasant with a strong smell of smoke from what seemed to be a smoking area, opening directly into the bar/ lounge? It actually put me off coming again.

18/03/2026: Today I tried the special,fried chicken pancakes with hot honey glazed. Absolutely delicious. Crispy and sweet, so flavoursome. Staff are always lovely. Love coming here.

09/03/2026: Love going here for a coffee here, but the cashier working on Saturday wouldn’t encourage you to return…she was just downright rude, absolutely devoid of any ounce of customer service. Would recommend removing her to an area where her strengths could be discovered.

22/02/2026: Awful , it’s been a while since a posted anything but felt obligated.. frozen chips with mashed garlic potatoes with rubbery monkfish .. seriously I actually thought it’s harder to feck this up but they managed it ., Steak obviously overcooked and dry How it’s even allowed stay open with the conditions of the toilets .. no paper towels or hand dryers .. never again

17/07/2025: What an amazing cafe. Filled with artefacts from grandma's place. The coffee was superb. The atmosphere awesome. The scones...best I've ever had. Great conversation with Peter who does all the baking himself.

08/11/2025: I have been going to his restuaunt takeaway fir the last 6 months and the food the service has been nothing sort outstanding. This is just the best Chinese around the whole of mallow kanturk abd the surrounding area. Had a beef curry tonight with fried rice and spare barbecue ribs, oh my word the best and I mean the vest beef curry I have ever had even in the UK. Family run lovely people give ut a try

20/09/2025: I stopped in mid morning after strolling around town. Just wanted a tea and snack nothing heavy or big. The hot chocolate brownie and ice cream I ordered was easily one of the best things I’ve eaten since I’ve been here in Ireland! Every bit was savored! I left not a crumb!

15/01/2026: Had a nice pint of Guinness here. Friendly staff and customers. They also have a small but nice outdoor seating area. Nice music, not too loud but still loud enough to create a good vibe. Beware of the rule of non-paying customers not being allowed to stay. It looks like even if you're a part of a paying group but aren't getting anything for yourself, you'd be asked to leave.

My family and I have been loyal, weekly customers of this establishment for over two years. During that time, the food was consistently of a good standard and the service reliable. Unfortunately, in recent months there has been a noticeable and concerning decline in both quality and customer service. On several occasions, the food has arrived in poor condition — burgers burnt, chips undercooked, and overall standards well below what we previously experienced. Delivery times have also become increasingly unacceptable, with orders arriving over an hour late. Last week, our order was mistakenly delivered to a neighbour, who had already opened the food before realising it was not theirs. We contacted the restaurant to understand what had happened and spoke with Mohamed, who apologised sincerely and assured us that, as valued long-term customers, t It is most unfortunate that I need to post this review of uncle sams in killeagh cork. We have been frequent customers of this fast food establishment for more than 2 years on a weekly basis. The food used to be of a good standard, but recently the food quality has deteriorated to an awful standard. Burnt burgers, chips barely cooked, delivery orders over an hour late. Delivery times have also become increasingly unacceptable, with orders arriving over an hour late. Last week, our order was mistakenly delivered to a neighbour, who had already opened the food before realising it was not theirs. We contacted the restaurant to understand what had happened and spoke with Mohamed, who apologised sincerely and assured us that, as valued long-term customers, the cost of our next order would be covered as a gesture of goodwill. The following week, out of respect for the hard work of the staff and in the hope that the previous issues were a once-off, I decided to give them another opportunity and paid the full €40 for our order rather than referencing the promised gesture. Our delivery was scheduled for 7:50pm, but it did not arrive. When I phoned the restaurant, I was told it would be at least another 40 minutes due to them being “very busy.” While I understand that restaurants can experience peak periods, repeated delays combined with declining food quality and poor communication reflect a serious lack of customer care. The manner in which my concerns were handled during that call felt dismissive and unprofessional. It is deeply disappointing to see a once-reliable local business fall to this standard. Loyalty should be valued, and basic service standards maintained. Regrettably, based on our recent experiences, I can no longer recommend this establishment.
