10/10/2025: Lovely Staff , esp. Clarinda at the Greenfinch Restaurant clean rooms , a sweet leisure centre .. felt like it was very much integrated into the town social life - which is refreshing ! a practical choice while on work :)

16/08/2025: I have been here every year for the last 3 yrs while attending an event nearby. I have always found staff & patrons to be lovely and friendly. Good if small menu after 6pm. Always enjoyed the pizzas.
This year however, my experience was less pleasant with a strong smell of smoke from what seemed to be a smoking area, opening directly into the bar/ lounge?
It actually put me off coming again.

More seating would be nice, but no

27/08/2025: Best matcha I've had in Dublin (and I have had a lot of matcha :)). It's so sweet! Lovely with oat milk. Staff super friendly and attentive also.

24/09/2025: Unfortunately they were out of scones. If the waiter could have baked them I'd say he would have, he was so apoplectic. We had coffee and the apple and strawberry crumble instead. Beautifully presented with homemade vanilla ice cream. 10/10. Am already looking forward to going back.

20/09/2025: I stopped in mid morning after strolling around town. Just wanted a tea and snack nothing heavy or big. The hot chocolate brownie and ice cream I ordered was easily one of the best things I’ve eaten since I’ve been here in Ireland! Every bit was savored! I left not a crumb!

08/11/2025: I have been going to his restuaunt takeaway fir the last 6 months and the food the service has been nothing sort outstanding. This is just the best Chinese around the whole of mallow kanturk abd the surrounding area. Had a beef curry tonight with fried rice and spare barbecue ribs, oh my word the best and I mean the vest beef curry I have ever had even in the UK. Family run lovely people give ut a try

15/11/2025: The presumed owner is absolutely miserable. Went in tonight and sat in the corner with my wife at a little 2 person table while I had a pint and she had a water (she’s pregnant) before we went home for the night. We were only there about 20 minutes and I was more than halfway through my pint when the owner came over and told us if we’re not both spending money then we had to leave. In all my 35 years of visiting pubs all over Ireland I’ve never ever seen this sort of behaviour. If the owner is reading this just know you are miserable and you alienated a pregnant woman
08/10/2025: Easily the best local pub in Kinsale.
The owners are great craic, and the pint of Guinness the best in town by a country mile. Really enjoyed the couple of nights that I spent here.

27/10/2025: Regular customer to the hotel with friends and family .always a pleasure. Many a county music night there as well. Got married 19 years ago in this hotel. Had a beautiful day.
23/10/2025: I went here over the weekend for lunch with some friends, we each had the carvery. It was delicious! The food combined with the modern and stylish decor created such a warm and cosy ambience. Definitely will be back again.

18/08/2025: This Cafe/Restaurant needs to change to change its closing hours for a Saturday - it states closing at 6pm - last Saturday at 5.25pm we were told that it closes in 5 minutes making it 5.30pm closing.
