06/06/2025: Came in few hours ago to grab a late breakfast. I got a toasted sandwich (forgot the name but had lots of chicken and cheese inside) and sausage roll (pork and caramelised onions) to go. The sandwich was beautiful! Perfect level of crisp from the bread and the melted cheese blended with the rest of the contents very well. Not super heavy either. The sausage roll was only consumed an hour after purchase but it was hearty, remained crispy and full of flavour. Workers were very kind and accommodating also so I’ll definitely be back!

11/07/2025: We stayed here last weekend. The pool facilities were great. We had our toddler, and she loved the two small kids pools. We had dinner at the hotel bar as the restaurant was closed. The food was very good, and the feather blade of beef was top notch. Staff were also pleasant. We stayed in the Munster suite, very large room. The only issue was no fridge in the room, and the a/c was broken on a very hot day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and will return when in the Charleville area in the future.
10/07/2025: Probably one of the best places I have been that caters for coeliacs. The staff were knowledgeable and very thorough. Very friendly, too.

08/07/2025: When booking verify which floor! They have 2 basement floors that my dad and I were unaware of. We did have an opening that seemed to be next to an ally so all we heard were bottles being emptied into a dumpster and smoke coming down into the opening. We were able to change rooms the next day but paid full price for a basement room.
01/06/2025: Fabulous hotel. The food in bar and the breakfast is amazing. Our room was a little small but bathroom was huge and shower really powerful.

09/07/2025: Terrible lazy service in a non busy part of the afternoon. Wife and I both had wraps - veggie and chicken caesar. the ceasar was ok but the veggie which was supposed to have humus on it as a feature barely had a teaspon on it. It was mostly half wilted lettuce and flavorless tomatoes. The guy behind us got a pizza that looked like a frozen pizza from Dunnes. Maybe they were having a bad day...maybe this was a one off bad experience but....plenty of other places to eat in Kinsale where you'd likely be better off.
24/06/2025: Had a lovely lunch in here. The fish and chips was amazing, lovely fresh fish. All of the staff were lovely.

17/07/2025: What an amazing cafe. Filled with artefacts from grandma's place. The coffee was superb. The atmosphere awesome. The scones...best I've ever had. Great conversation with Peter who does all the baking himself.

02/07/2025: This is a must if visiting Baltimore, West Cork. Stunning views, plenty of outdoor seating serving amazing food. We had pizza, fish & chips, oysters etc and all left very satisfied. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Definitely recommend
14/06/2025: Called today and ordered 2 fish of the day (Haddock in garlic butter), a pizza and portion of chips. Food arrived in incredible time... Probably because it had barely felt the heat of the pan as the unmelted butter resting on top could attest. After another ten minutes during which we ate the pizza and chips they asked if everything was ok at which point they took it back to the kitchen, we were then allowed to listen to the bubblegum blowing chef rant about how well cooked it was. I shouldn't give out about the chef because all the service was equally poor. We didn't pay for the fish needless to say

29/04/2025: The worst Chinese restaurant I have been to, mainly because of the quality of the food. We went in April, family gathering, 10 of us. Ordered the €46 all in for everyone. The satay chicken? What is that? Shredded I don’t know what? Not for human consumption. Same product in chicken dishes. Taken home by one of the party in a take home container. Could not identify the next day. When charging outrageous prices, you at least have to provide quality food. I gave this restaurant one star. It doesn’t even deserve that. One very unhappy customer that attended a family reunion in April.

01/06/2025: This venue shows no respect for the town or its residents. Extremely loud music continues deep into the night, well past midnight, disturbing anyone nearby. There is no sense of local charm or consideration — just noise. A very disappointing experience that leaves a negative impression of Kinsale.
28/05/2025: Shocking Behaviour – Disrespectful to Designated Drivers & Non-Drinkers
Five of us went into this bar. Three of us ordered pints, while the other two asked for water, one is a designated driver, and the other has an illness that makes them unable to drink alcohol. The very rude staff member told us if we’re not all spending money then we have to leave.
Since when does being sober mean you don’t have the right to sit in a pub? With people who are drinking? That kind of attitude is not just unwelcoming, it’s flat-out ignorant. People should be encouraged to act responsibly, not kicked out for it.
Look elsewhere for basic respect.

10/06/2025: And that one star was out of sympathy.......best Bad Really Bad ………Actually ….Badder then Bad……..best takeaway in west cork........are you having a laugh.......it's one of the worst takeaway I've had in Ireland....let alone cork......don't have the fried chicken whatever you do ......soaking with Grease .... tasteless and the consistency of rubber......all the other food came from frozen.....even the chips........the food was hanging.........avoid this place
