26/12/2024: Mixed feelings. They treated us great, they even found a way for us to have dinner even though we didn't have a reservation. The food was very good. The only bad thing is that we coincided with a Christmas dinner with friends and they were extremely loud, to the point of being uncomfortable and not being able to talk to the person in front of me.
15/12/2024: Entered without a table booked for 2 after a national concert hall event after 5 mins seated with ease.
Have been twice before 1st time work colleague recommendation and 2nd family celebration.
All 3 occasions loved great tasty food and super vegan options which was needed for the family celebration

12/01/2025: I used to work around the corner years ago, and we would frequent The Long Hall after work to talk shop so to speak. This is a pub steeped in history and it hasn’t changed much in the years since.
It was nice to pop back in and sit, watch and soak up the atmosphere.

04/12/2024: Loved this fabulous, tiny shop. The range of flavoured donuts is immense and the staff were really friendly. We tried the Kinder, Chocolate Brownie and Apple Crumble...all we're amazing. Please, a shop in London would go down so well.

04/01/2025: Such a pity to come in here on a Saturday after a walk in Poolbeg and no cosy fires lit- and on a Saturday in the middle of a cold winter weekend at Christmas !!! We asked if they would like it but no dice which was very disappointing.. really affects the atmosphere for a cosy Irish pub. Something so simple.

27/12/2024: Small pub with big windows on the corner of a building. They had a TV showing Premier League. Their prices were decent, cheaper than other pubs down the road closer to Temple Bar. It has a good ambience inside, it's dark with some fine moodsetting candles.

09/01/2025: I went there on a frigid day when it was literally hailing on Howth–there’s a fireplace and they serve Beamish. That’s 5 stars right there! Great spot for a pint after completing The Bog of the Frogs Loop!

18/12/2024: Bit bad that my wife asked for the chicken stirfry yet the chef made it from leftover breaded chicken. That’s not what it said on the menu it says strips of chicken stirfry so all in all bit of disappointing. That’s what happens when you deviate from the menu and try and cheat a customer at your last leftover meat
08/12/2024: DONT GO TO THIS PUB. The bouncers were very rude and they didn't let me in telling me that I was too drunk, even if i was totally normal, maybe a little tipsy but i was not drunk and I was not doing anything "strange". I was with other 15 friends doing a pubcrawl and they all entered. I just waited 5 mins before entering because i was finishing a cigarette. Probably they were just racist, since I am a brown boy. They totally ruined my night. I hope these 2 guys loose their job. Don't go here
