15/11/2024: Our favorite meal of the trip! Fish and chips were flavorful. The cole slaw has a wonderful taste. Spicy wings as well, absolutely Delicious 😋

03/12/2024: The staff were lovely and very attentive so there was no complaints in this regards. The main courses were fine and it was all very nice. Just nice. Not really what I expect from Thai cuisine as I would rather it smacks you round the face with flavour. Just would have expected a bit more.

27/11/2024: Complete and utter disgrace Gary and Co. We had made a booking for 14 people for a celebration months in advance for a Saturday. As it was for a group I emailed and after 7 emails back & forth, I confirmed the date and numbers. In order to secure booking Gary asked for a mobile no. which I sent to him and thanked him for looking after it. 13 guests who made the effort to come in and celebrate, who arrived just before me, were greeted by two very rude staff members, a disinterested bald man and a very abrupt Thai lady as they couldn't find the booking. The Thai lady had been snapping rudely at the guests and ushering them towards the door as she couldn’t locate the booking. When I got there I was asked who booked it and said Gary, I was then told by bald manager "oh, well that's not a good start" and looked at me blankly like that’s that resolved now.. When I produced the emails (7) confirming Gary’s reservation I was told that there was NOTHING that they could do, Absolutely NOTHING, just blank disinterested faces even though I had confirmation. After my partner tried to establish if Gary, being the apparent gate keeper (who wasn’t there that day) was local and could come in and try fix it, via phone, was equally as dismissive as the two other robots. What's utterly bewildering is, it was an early booking, 5.30pm, and without wanting to do some mental gymnastics to fix THEIR MISTAKE by rejigging/squashing in a few tables they turned us away!! Completely incapable and/or disinterested, not so much a token apology (only after which someone in our group suggested a voucher). We checked the seating downstairs and the ENTIRE downstairs was completely empty until 6.30!!?? The entire time all the two stony faced staff did was randomly swipe up and down the iPad for 15 mins trying to somewhat justify some type of action being taking yet knowing full well that they weren’t bothered to fix it. Horrible place, horrible staff, horrible atmosphere, obnoxious rude management. Never in my life have I encountered such unprofessionalism and immaturity. I have seen some messy situations fixed before in hospitality and dealt with professionally but not in this playschool. We then went locally to another restaurant who were fully booked out, but after some mental gymnastics, courtesy and sheer professionalism were able to look after us. We were met with blank disinterested faces when told there'd be a negative review, so here you go - not that you’ll probably care.

09/11/2024: Quaint, cosy pub just off the beaten track. Has a nice timeless feel to it. Lovely pint of Guinness and a great spot for a quiet catch up with friends. Big bonus is it's right around the corner from my bus stop and the Luas 😁.

14/12/2024: My friend and I had a fantastic brunch experience at Póg! The mimosas were absolutely perfect, and our server was both friendly and delightfully festive, adding to the warm atmosphere. The menu had great options, and everything we ordered was delicious. The location is super convenient, making it an ideal spot for brunch with friends or family. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch in the area.

14/12/2024: Amazing place with tasty coffee and other drink options. Had their matcha latte and nutella hot chocolate - loved them both! Definitely recommend it!

09/12/2024: We hosted our daughter’s christening here and we couldn’t recommend more! The area reserved was perfect for a large group and the food was superb! The service and staff are fantastic and great to deal with from the outset. Would highly recommend for a party or event.

24/11/2024: What's not to like? They even had a good singer / guitarist performing who did a lot of crowd pleaser pop rock standards.

04/12/2024: Loved this fabulous, tiny shop. The range of flavoured donuts is immense and the staff were really friendly. We tried the Kinder, Chocolate Brownie and Apple Crumble...all we're amazing. Please, a shop in London would go down so well.

07/12/2024: Overall, the food and drinks were excellent—the steak, in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere of the pub was great, beautifully decorated and the service was initially attentive. However, there was a bit of confusion with our order. We were served fries we hadn’t ordered, and we assumed they were part of the meal as described on the menu. Unfortunately, they were later added to the bill. While the bartender was kind enough to try to resolve the issue, the manager seemed unwilling to address our concerns, which left us feeling a bit disappointed. It’s a shame because the quality of the food was outstanding, there wasn’t a crumb of food left on the plate! If the management were more understanding, it would have made the experience flawless.

05/12/2024: Very nice, very pleasant pub with impeccable service. There are off-season premises and it must be filled off-season! No food. A Palestinian flag obviously, the Irish didn’t understand anything 🙄 But hey, go ahead, good atmosphere

11/12/2024: Friendly, in a charming place, and with very delicious dishes. The fish soup is magnificent, the brownie is spectacular. Tasty fried fish and potatoes, and the avocado salad with crab is great.

18/12/2024: Bit bad that my wife asked for the chicken stirfry yet the chef made it from leftover breaded chicken. That’s not what it said on the menu it says strips of chicken stirfry so all in all bit of disappointing. That’s what happens when you deviate from the menu and try and cheat a customer at your last leftover meat

08/12/2024: DONT GO TO THIS PUB. The bouncers were very rude and they didn't let me in telling me that I was too drunk, even if i was totally normal, maybe a little tipsy but i was not drunk and I was not doing anything "strange". I was with other 15 friends doing a pubcrawl and they all entered. I just waited 5 mins before entering because i was finishing a cigarette. Probably they were just racist, since I am a brown boy. They totally ruined my night. I hope these 2 guys loose their job. Don't go here
