27/06/2026: Manager here is very odd. Possibly the rudest experience I’ve ever had in a pub. I’ve a few tattoos, think that might’ve been why, that’s blackrock for you. The place across the road the exact same. I see a lot of other reviews here with the same thing, manager telling people to leave because “other people are waiting for a seat” even though we’re literally paying for pints. Really really odd place. Don’t recommend. Energy here is absolutely horrible, surprised to see any decent reviews at all.

19/05/2026: Felt very welcomed by the 2 employees who were working hard at serving people and cleaning out the restaurant. Drink was made perfectly and employees were smiling. A 5/5 in my Starbucks book.

19/06/2026: The guy that delivered our coffee rubbed his fingers all over the rim of the cups! So gross and unhygienic. Please give some adequate training.
Also, the watery whipped cream they serve with the cake is not OK - cake was good though.
06/06/2026: Coffee here is absolutely atrocious. Consistently awful. And it's the same in any Brambles café to be honest. Marlay, Knocklyon, St Enda's. Just absolutely brutal coffee, served scalding hot and burnt to hell, bitter and acrid.

04/03/2026: Pretty good atmosphere all around. The staff is quick on their feet and friendly. I've mostly ordered different kind of loaded fries here and they were all tasty, albeit a bit pricey still. The cheese is never fully melted though and should probably be heated up before serving.

01/07/2026: I witnessed the way a member of staff (David) treated a family with a young child last week, and it was genuinely upsetting. Having worked in hospitality myself, I understand that staff sometimes have to deal with challenging situations. However, I've never seen a member of staff speak to a young child the way I witnessed today. It was unnecessary, unprofessional, and very disappointing.

14/07/2026: The service was terrible; they ignored us before even listening to our order. We weren't served the same way as other customers, and afterwards, it was impossible to buy a bottle of water because they completely ignored us and let other customers go ahead of us.

Now it's been a good while since I was last in any sort of Rockets but they must've done something to their tenders recipe because they have to be the most bland chicken tenders I've ever had. I kept adding salt to them because there was just no flavour. Couldn't even finish them
15/07/2026: €17.90 for a beer and chicken burger.. the burger is tiny and does not come with fries.. seems overpriced .. chicken tenders in the burger tasted OK but the presentation needs improvement!

09/07/2026: The woman staff in the cashier seems like has no ability to smile, talk when taking your order or anything related to customer service behavior, maybe change the person in the cashier to a more friendly one! Or put the automated machine that I can order by myself without seeing that wall face.
Also the toilet is very smelly!
29/06/2026: When I asked for the toilet code, the barista gave me the code. Yet, there was a sign on the door saying toilet closed. The only reason I bothered to buy a coffee was to access the toilet. This is unacceptable.

12/07/2026: Every time I come here the bathroom is out of order. People can't even wash their hands. The staff would not allow people to even use the sink. That is not higenic. Also the service is not good. I would not recommend this place.
10/07/2026: I live in the U.S. surrounded by SBUX and the standard of service in this branch is worthy of review by leadership.
There was only one person serving when we arrived so there was a long line.
A polite woman in her 50s placed and collected a large order. She then returned and said a drink was missing.
Rather than simply make the drink, the female dark-haired barista chose to fight her. The woman had a slight limp and she made her walk out and retrieve the order. She then said she would be checking the security cameras.
Just make the drink - even if she’s wrong, it’s not worth the bad feedback and lack of return custom from that lady and all the people she (and I) will tell.
Eventually the barista conceded reluctantly that she had to make the drink and did so, with snarky comments to the customer (who to be fair, was telling her to ‘ off).
Thrilled the three children I was with got to experience that :s
