30/10/2025: Great food, cooked fresh. There is a nice range of breakfast options, all of which I have eaten have tasted well. Coffee is good. Plenty of regular clientele and its buzzing with activity in the mornings, which is a great vote of confidence.

25/10/2025: Best cafe! Food is amayzing, always fresh, atmosphere very relaxing.

14/05/2025: Around €11 for bagel and pot of tea..not great value considering that O'Briens only allows you to order 3 initial toppings and then charges extra for additional toppings. That being said, the bagel and tea were nice. Service was pretty quick and the cafe I was in was very bright and clean so all in all, it was fine.

06/04/2025: Teníamos 12 personas hambrientas, y nos alegramos mucho de encontrar este lugar! Todos pudieron encontrar un delicioso sándwich, que venía con papas fritas. Había opciones sin gluten y la comida era genial. El precio era correcto y el servicio tan rápido!

03/06/2025: The food overall was good. The bone marrow was especially delicious—rich and well-prepared. However, the rice that came with it was far too salty. The salmon was a bit underwhelming, but with a tasty sauce. On the bright side, the service was attentive and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

27/10/2025: Started great- with really good customer service. They don’t have any vanilla/caramel syrup but have hibiscus- something about how the owner is very proud of the coffee and wants people to taste it. Also, they make their own ketchup etc- this is all ridiculous if you ask me. Syrups in coffees work from a business perspective (I have managed numerous coffee shops in Dublin) and Heinz, Chef & Blenders already perfected ketchup, so there’s no need for this guy to try. The açaí bowl was flavorless, peanut butter was bland, and we were rushed out TWICE by a us waitress who told us she was really tired, but there were about 15 other people there who weren’t rushed. Poor food for a lot of money (€12 for a glass bowl of granola & blended fruit!)- been here about 6 times and this time did it. Won’t be back.

26/10/2025: A buzzing Rathmines crowd in Melbourian style Café, that serves top-tier coffee... "The Spanish Affair" (nickname by Me 😉) was my chosen delight and it didn’t disappoint. Vibes mathched by the crew's energy. Lost one star for the unlabelled pastries (mystery pastries aren’t always fun), but I’ll be back soon to uncover the dessert section. ⭐⭐⭐⭐✩

23/11/2025: Every interaction with the staff on a quiet Sunday afternoon was a disappointment. We came in for a drink with our baby who was asleep in the buggy. The waitresses completely ignored us although there was supposed to be table service and they were doing nothing. I was ignored at the bar. When the bar man finally came over he was rude - no wine list and I was dismissively told there was ‘white wine or red wine’ by the glass The music was too loud inside and there was extremely loud dance music being played in the back outdoor section as they set up for an event (slightly odd as it was Sunday afternoon). The music outside overpowered the inside music when it played which was jarring. When we were leaving the waitress loudly said ‘too many buggies’ when a couple came in with a buggy and we were leaving. There were about 30 empty tables so I don’t know how she would cope if the place was actually busy. The bar man barged past us as we tried to leave, causing my husband to sidestep into the buggy. When we complained to the waitresses they called the bar man over. He apologised but there was such a lack of customer service for a large man to barge past a small baby in a buggy. It really felt like customers are not wanted even though it was not busy.

23/11/2025: Food and staff are both excellent! Have visited a few times since it has reopened and couldn't fault it!

16/10/2025: I work in the Castle and this place is always such a nice atmosphere! Coffee is always good, the staff are quick and attentive, and the food is delicious. Inside is always very clean too

15/09/2025: we ordered three coffees (there's no table service) and brought them to our table, paying €10.35 (for three coffees). Let alone the fact that the coffees were burnt, after sitting for a good seven minutes, we were playing cards and the staff said we had to move from the paying table (as if we hadn't paid almost €11 for that monstrosity of coffees), when the bar wasn't even full. I looked at the other prices and a tiny piece of bronie cost €5. Also, there was water in a dispenser and it tasted like dirt, not exaggerating. Obviously i gave 1 star because i couldn’t give 0 stars. Highly discouraged.

17/11/2025: They say go where you see long queue and it should be good - not always the case, but for this one it def is! Worth the wait and must try if you’re around the area. We had pistachio cannoli, pistachio tiramisu, americano and italian hot chocolate. It is on the expensive side, almost 30eur. For Dublin it’s OK, I found the desserts average but oh! - the italian hot chocolate made me want to go back as soon as I can. First time trying all them so maybe not the best judge. Oh well I enjoyed it. It was so packed yesterday so will head there again today hopefully not as busy.

03/11/2025: Coffee was actually great. Barista woman was rude. At first glance this looks like a large and nice Starbucks store. If you stay a bit you’ll find quite a deficiency in cleanliness. Soft chairs and sofas smell. Need a good Lysol spray down. Tables are all mucky. But the worst was the toilet. I wish I’d had my phone to take pics. MOLD growing all over a big grey waste receptacle in there. Like 4 trash cans there plus water and paper all over the floors. Thank God the water and soap worked.

29/08/2025: A nice and cozy place though it could use some attention in term of appearance and overall look. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was tasty.

24/08/2025: We got the feeling that they didn't want to serve us at 8 p.m. They told us the kitchen was closed and there were people dining...

23/08/2025: We were there last Friday. Waitress was not customer friendly 2/10 I got tea with sour milk , a colleague got the smallest portion of risotto you could serve Rip off and terrible services. Unlikely to go back and we were regular.

04/10/2025: Always serving delicious very well balanced, perfectly cooked breakfast and lunch. Today's brunch with brisket beef on real sourdough, eggs and Japanese flavours is another great taste and value example!

02/10/2025: Bowls is a local food business which always has interesting and healthy food offerings.

08/09/2025: Previously a five star for me... Prices have increased and quality and quantity decreased. Paid 11.20 euros for a salad with added chicken, where chicken was previously in the recipe. The salad bowl was not full, so definitely not great value for money.

10/12/2025: We booked our Christmas party here. They advertised packages. We chose the €60 per head package that said we would have a games host to host games, alongside medals, trophies and photo's. The package ended up being €67.50 per head with service charge. I had been in contact with the venue on the days leading up to the party about food, numbers, time of arrival etc. We arrived, where ushered to the basement where there was christmas crackers on the table, no music and no one serving at the bar. We where a party of 20. We stayed there for an hour with no change. I went and spoke with management and they said we arrived late, some of the girls where there from 7.30pm, we had told them we would be there at 8. They didn't provide anything that was advertised. We wont be back.

09/12/2025: Always a great time at Wigwam karaoke. Plenty of seats in the private Karaoke room. Great selection of songs, decent mics and grear table service with a nice selection of drinks. Very affordable This review was made in connection with a Toast promotion

16/10/2025: Had Chicken Wings and Chips. Great portion, very tasty. Service was friendly and quick. The only thing that could be improved is the interior design. Went back to this restaurant a few times and have to say, the quality is consistently good.
