04/08/2025: Booked to watch a football final with about 20+ people, was not told there was live music happening. Difficult experience. Food seemed good as some of the group got it. Staff friendly.
30/07/2025: There has been a change or management/branding since around early 2024 and the place has gone seriously down hill. Drastically reduced menu and poor service (due to less workers/higher turbover it seems).
I was a regular here but really losing the will to come back.
Price increases are expected in this economy, but the massive reduction in quality of everything is really sad to see in a once great venue

03/08/2025: Absolutely disgusting fish must of been floating in grease for hours i couldn't taste anything but the grease left chips dripping my partners steak on a stone same size as a chicken nugget he stopped at chipper and got a quarter pounder on the way home Absolutely gutted we wasted 60 quid... horrendous very disappointed 😞
01/08/2025: Perfect dinner at the Hudson ☺️ staff were so friendly and the steak was cooked to perfection 👏🥰 really delicious food with good music and a warm atmosphere- highly recommend

20/05/2025: The place is lovely, the food is nice and well priced and the staff are very friendly for the most part. One of the workers at the till greeted me with less enthusiasm than a rock and was rather rude, but the rest of the staff were very talkative and nice. Tony is always up for a good chat. Overall a nice place.

14/07/2025: This is a real hidden gem! It's in one of the best locations in the City but in a quiet residential area, which is just perfect. The staff are really welcoming and helpful. The food was great and the bar was stocked with a wide range of beers and wines. Definitely recommend staying here.

01/08/2025: Athmosphere ??…..it was early in the morning so not many people there but the food was delicious ….had a full Irish….no complaints….Tea bags for the tea were proper tea bags ….it was a joy to visit here and what I hear from the locals the night time there is really good as well…..Music/ food ….its all there…..spotless clean……..I’ll definitely nip in there a few times over the next few months…….thanks to all the Staff……
