Don't let the rustic look of the place fool you as it is a great place for kids and the posters were very much a conversational starter with the young person crowd. The bangers and mash were excellent. The music selection was superb - someone really knew there stuff!

18/02/2025: Went for the Valentines set menu. Waited 50 minutes for the wrong dish to come out, which was the main (came cold) Had to skip back to the starter which took another 30 mins. Both pairing cocktails were forgotten, waiter very unapologetic. Finally got to the third set menu which was again cold. Bao Buns were stale. Forgotten drinks were all rushed out at once with the third dish. Bill came to €175. Complete waste of money and overall terrible experience. Won’t be back, terrible service !!

11/03/2025: It would be great if double booking could be avoided or if everyone who paid for the gig was allowed upstairs. It’s much easier to get drinks and enjoy a comfortable smoke there compared to downstairs.

19/03/2025: Terrible service! I was served by a grumpy and rude employee. I ended up leaving without even wanting to visit the place due to the negative experience.
17/03/2025: I had a lovely afternoon coffee here! The place was quite busy on Saturday afternoon but we waited just a couple of minutes to get a table. They have a wide variety of cakes and the dark chocolate and pistachio mousse was amazing 😋 the cappuccino was good too.

23/02/2025: Very slow service, had to go looking for a menu ourselves. We then had to go and get water for the table ourselves. No waiters / waitresses coming to tables to take orders, yet there was plenty of waiting staff floating around. It was not extremely busy at all. Food when it arrived was cold and bland. The stuffing with the chicken was very poor. This place is pricy, and you would expect better food and service for the price you pay. Will we return again, I don't think so.

04/03/2025: Staff were friendly and accommodating given the size of our party. Food was disappointing - smashed avocado toast was lacking in avocado and poached eggs were overdone. Nice enough place to go for a drink, however I don't think I'll be eating here again.
03/03/2025: Called in for breakfast and we had the full Irish. Unfortunately when it arrived it was missing two items although they did supply them when asked. The toast was like cardboard, I had poached eggs which were overcooked with hard yolks and my girlfriend's fried eggs were also overcooked. Sausages tasted like cheap mass produced ones and the plates were cold like the food. Staff were pleasant enough but food was substandard

26/01/2025: Got 2 flat whites here yesterday,cost me 8.20,very expensive and the worst coffee I've ever had in my life ...used to be lovely, definitely wasn't a flat white,just like an espresso with milk. Staff should be sending out super coffees at that price,never again

24/03/2025: Stumbled upon this unique gem of a restaurant while around the Templogue area. Walked in for breakfast and I have to say we were pleased with the amazing staff, awesome food, cool decor and ambiance and that they are pet friendly (we did not have our dog with us this time, but will come back with him.).
A definitely must try place for a breakfast or brunch. And should be good for lunch and dinner as well. Especially loved the staff and their attention to detail with ears sharp to listen to every need.
