10/06/2025: The food there is sooo delicious. We visit this place once a week. The cauliflower winks stole my heart. 10 out of 10. Service is very helpful and nice. I highly recommend😊
25/05/2025: The host clearly forgets customers he doesnt recognise. He gave the regulars coming in freed up tables before us. When he finally seated us (we had to push him for this) he never sent anyone to take our order, we had to stop a waitress who tbf was very helpful.
And then the burger came out.. my god was it disappointing. For the price you pay you'd think you would get quality but you'd get better from the chipper down the road. We went up to the host to pay at the end and he said he'd send someone over. Of course he didnt bother.
Wont be coming back. Awful experience.

17/03/2025: We went there as we waited for the Guiness Storehouse to open. The service was amazing and so friendly. It was great to talk to the guy there. The food was tasty and he was prompt. I would highly recommend and definitely go back!

The Grasshopper Inn Restaurant and Bar.

24/03/2025: I just recently had a Christening in the function room at the Grasshopper. I cannot speak highly enough of the place. Martin and the team were amazing to deal with and all the staff were exceptional on the day making sure everything ran smoothly. There is a super friendly atmosphere there in general. The food was fresh and delicious and the space was fantastic for an event. Everyone commented on the food and the professionalism of the staff. I would highly recommend The Grasshopper and will most definitely book my events there in the future. Thank you to the team at the Grasshopper for making our day so special and going above and beyond for us.

14/05/2025: First meal back in my favourite restaurant after lockdown…..AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT- except to say mint sauce would’ve been nice to go with my lamb. In its absence I had gravy………I had to rein myself in, to stop myself from licking the pattern from the plate… already looking forward to my next visit… well done Graduate.
Update: visited last Thursday. Food was fabulous. Ham and cheese omelette and fries.
The toilets though are still disgusting, AND cold water in the wash hand basin, and cold hand dryer. I’ve seen nicer public loos.

16/05/2025: Experience here was brilliant. The bed was very plush and comfortable, there's plenty of storage space, and you can't beat the location for being right in the center of Dublin action. Add on a friendly staff, and you get top-notch accommodations in Dublin.

The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and inviting, making it a great place to unwind. The food is of excellent quality, and the service is top-notch. The staff in both the lounge and restaurant are incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy an evening out.
29/03/2025: Been there so many times, honestly weirdest experience every time I go there, whenever there are matches on half the people are watching, the others are judging those watching. One of the most overstimulating places I've been. However; Their sticky toffee pudding is the best thing I have ever had, genuinely have perfected it. There's also a trad group that go over some evenings and really bring the atmosphere up.
Long story short- classic pub nothing else to say really

03/06/2025: Discount via the Hop on Hop or bus 2 meals for the price of 1. Really bad. The beef stew only contained 1 piece of meat. Was more soup.....the service was also nonchalant and unfriendly. Not recommended.
03/06/2025: Visited here yesterday service was good but food was like slop/both meals were like a soup not as expected and no flavour and friends food was freezing cold had to go andbe heated up.....music and dancers was ok but was more like watching a show rather than the usual Irish pub atmosphere
